After dinner, Sara suggested talking to Jesse alone.

“Not at the moment. Thank you for coming over specifically this time, I’ve been doing better recently. I’ll come to you if I have any problems.” Jesse’s tone was gentle, which annoyed Nydia who was listening nearby.

Sara’s face seemed disappointed.

“There’s a new medicine that’s come out that could help with your condition. I brought it with me, you can try it.”

She took out the medicine from her bag and handed it to Jesse.

“Okay, thank you.” Both bottles of medicine had labels in foreign language, so they were probably from overseas.

“Since you’re doing better now, I’ll be on my way. I’ll come by next time I have some free time.”

“How could I let you come all the way here? When I’m not feeling well, I’ll go to you myself.”

She got up and said goodbye. Nydia went to see her off.

“Mrs. Pascall, you should pay more attention to his condition on a daily basis, and be less stimulating. Be gentle and don’t be unreasonable.”
