Zane looked at the design director. “I think this is a good idea too.”

After thinking for a moment, the design director said, “Alright, we’ll give you all one week. We’ll have the evaluation meeting next Friday at 3 p. m.”

Maddie immediately grabbed Nydia’s arm with excitement. Now, as long as their designs were good, they wouldn’t be held back by the designers.

Nydia smiled and whispered to her to calm down.

Asher sneered and rolled his eyes when he saw their reaction. Of course, he didn’t think Nydia had any real talent.

“Oh my god!” Suddenly, one of the assistants exclaimed.

The design director frowned. “What’s going on?”

“Look at your phones and check the group chat.” He didn’t even care that he was secretly playing on his phone, the news in the group chat was just too explosive.

Everyone couldn’t resist picking up their phones and checking the chat group.

They all froze when they saw it, then looked at Asher in unison. Asher was already looking at it and suddenly got furious. “This is nonsense! Who posted this?!”

“I saw it outside and shared it in the group.” It was a designer who spoke. She didn’t like Asher to begin with, so she naturally wouldn’t let this opportunity slip by.

“Where did you see it?”

“On Weibo, isn’t it there? By the way, did you really copy it? Someone else’s post had all the details.”

He and Zane both went to look at the Weibo.

It was posted by a small blogger with few followers, but a few big bloggers shared it, so more people paid attention to it.

She posted her own design and also posted Asher’s design, which a discerning eye could tell was quite similar in details, making it clear that he had copied it.

However, an unexpected incident occurred.

Asher grabbed the water bottle on the table and fiercely threw it at Nydia.

“Watch out, Nydia!” Maddie, sitting next to her, pulled Nydia over, narrowly avoiding the bottle which hit the ground with a loud bang.

“Asher, are you crazy?” Nydia stood up and stared at him coldly.

“Are you spreading rumors behind my back? It must be you!”

“You’re insane. If you didn’t do it, why are you so afraid? Did I force you to plagiarize? You’re like a crazy person who bites others with your mouth!”

“Fine, it’s you who’s trying to get at me behind my back. Do you think you can get away with it? You’re dreaming!”

Nydia laughed out of anger, “I don’t have time to bother with you. Don’t think so highly of yourself!”

“Okay, stop arguing. What happened?” Zane interrupted them and looked at everyone present. “Can someone tell me?”

This was his first time meeting Nydia and he was not sure what had happened.

No one spoke up. This kind of thankless task would only invite trouble if done poorly.

Maddie was the one who spoke up. “Mr. Porter, it’s like this. Mr. Khan and Nydia had a conflict. Nydia was introduced by someone else and Mr. Khan didn’t like her. He pushed her down last Tuesday and she fell pretty hard. Then they started arguing. Nydia called Mr. Khan crazy and he threatened to hit her. Nydia then threatened him with a knife and they eventually dispersed.”

Zane’s inquisitive gaze fell on Nydia, who met his gaze and responded, “That’s right. I’m with Taylor, but Asher always likes to make things difficult for me, even resorting to violence. However, I’m not aware of his plagiarism.”

“I didn’t plagiarize!” Asher shouted again.

“Shut up!” Zane coldly shouted, his face turning pale. “If you didn’t plagiarize, sue her. What’s the point of making a scene here? This is a conference room, not your house!”
