Chapter 291

“Well, I’m going out first,” Jesse said.

“What’s the rush? Can’t you help me take it off?” Nydia replied. “I have to be careful when I take it off, or it might tear apart.”

Jesse helped Nydia take off her choker and then untied the ribbons at the back. After untying the ribbons, the front of the dress became looser.

However, Nydia had been squatting for a long time, and her legs had become numb. When she stood up, she lost her balance and fell on Jesse’s feet, with her face pressed against his calf.

As a result, the dress looked even looser.

Jesse could see everything if he lowered his head.

“Take it off yourself!” Jesse pushed her away, and she fell to the ground, completely stunned.

When she came to, Jesse had already opened the door and left.

Damn heartless man.

Jesse went outside and drank a glass of water.

Damn period!

About fifteen minutes later, Nydia came out of the dressing room, wearing comfortable clothes and calling Willette back.

“Sorry, sis, I can’t come over,” Nydia apologized. “And Jesse prepared a dress for me and he insisted that I wear it, or he’ll be angry.”

Willette was helpless and asked her to come over in the morning. After all, it was her birthday, and she couldn’t do nothing.

Nydia agreed.

After all the fuss, it was already late. Nydia knew that she would be tired tomorrow, so she went to bed early.

Both of them were tacitly aware that they would not sleep together, or they would probably not sleep well.

That night, Jesse had a dream. He dreamt that he had Nydia, dressed in the dress, under him. In his dream, his legs were intact, and she was beautiful and gentle. Everything was so perfect.

But when he woke up, he couldn’t snap out of it for a long time. When he moved his legs, the stiffness and lack of flexibility made him feel frustrated.

During breakfast, Molly and Tavish said to Nydia, “Mommy, happy birthday!”

“Thank you, my babies, I love you!” Nydia replied.

“Mommy, this is my gift to you. I bought it with my pocket money,” Molly said, handing over a beautiful scarf. “If your neck is ever bitten by a big bug again, you can wear this scarf.”

Jesse: Big bug?

He looked at Nydia, who smiled awkwardly. Once, Jesse left a hickey on her neck, and she told Molly that it was a big bug bite. She didn’t expect Molly to remember.

“Thank you, Molly, mommy will definitely use it.”

“Even if you’re not bitten by a big bug?” Jesse asked.

“I think big bugs might like to bite me, so they’ll probably bite me again,” Nydia said innocently, looking at Jesse with her innocent eyes.

Jesse was speechless.

Molly thought her mommy and daddy were a bit strange, but she couldn’t pinpoint why.

“Mommy, this is my gift to you,” Tavish said, taking out his iPad and playing a video.

The video starts with several beautiful photos of Nydia, followed by Molly Tavish standing together and wishing her a happy birthday. Then the servants wish her a happy birthday, followed by many more photos, including individual and family portraits. After that, there is Jesse’s birthday wishes.

Even though Nydia is used to seeing Jesse’s face, she still finds him handsome and charming when he suddenly appears on the screen. “Mrs. Pascall, happy birthday!” He says, and then smiles slightly at the camera, instantly dissolving all his coldness, like snow melting.

Nydia feels like she has been struck, thinking how handsome he is! The video ends with a picture of her and Jesse together.

“Tavish, thank you. Mommy loves it!” She is very touched, and thinks the video is precious.

Tavish is embarrassed and asks Jesse, “Daddy, where’s your gift?”
