Chapter 308 Are You Pregnant?

The teacher was startled upon hearing these words. “Mr. Hussain, you can’t say things like that!”

“Why not? If she didn’t do it, what’s there to be afraid of?” Sherry’s mother retorted.

Suddenly, Tavish spoke up. “Sherry, swear that every word you just said was not a lie, otherwise your mom and dad will get hit by a car when they go out!”

Sherry’s face turned white in an instant. “You!” Her mother couldn’t say anything, after all, she was the one who had been vicious in the first place.

“Alright, let’s stop here. Fortunately, Sherry is fine, just a bit shocked. She should go home and rest in the afternoon. If you’re worried, you can go to the hospital for a check-up.” The teacher said, trying to calm everyone down.

Sherry’s mother was angry with the teacher. “I entrusted my daughter to you, and this is how you take care of her?”

The teacher felt that it might have been Sherry who had slipped and fell.

“I’m sorry, we didn’t take good care of her.”

“I’ll have a good chat with your principal!” Sherry’s mother threatened before leaving with her daughter.

Molly and Tavish returned to the classroom afterwards. The teacher only asked Molly if she had pushed Sherry, but Molly didn’t admit it.

On the way home from school, Molly asked Tavish nervously, “Brother, did I do something wrong?”

“No, you did well. You taught Sherry a lesson and didn’t let yourself suffer.” Tavish reassured her.

When Molly heard Tavish say this, she breathed a sigh of relief. “I was so scared when Sherry’s mother made me swear!”

“Don’t be afraid, I have always been by your side. With your smart brain and brother’s brain, there’s definitely no problem.” Tavish said, patting her head.

“Brother, is there a way to preserve this biscuit that Sherry threw on the ground? It’s like carrying Mommy’s love with me.” Molly asked, taking the biscuit out of her pocket.

“Yes, I will find a way.” Tavish smiled.

When Nydia finished work, she went to find Willette and returned to the Malone family together.

Cade and his wife were surprised and then very happy to see Nydia.

“Nydia, Willette said you disappeared before. We were so worried and have been looking for you. Thank goodness you’re back. Nothing happened, right?” Cade asked.

“No, I just felt bored and went out for a while. I’m sorry for making you worry.” Nydia replied with a gentle smile.

But Willette didn’t believe her. “Did Jesse bully you, so you ran away?”

“I just felt too suppressed being with him, so I went out to clear my mind.” Nydia answered perfunctorily, worried that Willette might be recording her.

“So when you came back, he wanted to divorce you?” Willette continued to ask.

Cade was stunned to hear this. “What? Jesse wants to divorce you?”

“Yes, he even prepared the divorce agreement.”

“That bastard! How dare he want a divorce? But it’s good to leave him, you will be better off without him, even if it’s been tough for you these past few years.” Cade said, feeling sorry for Nydia, but his eyes were already calculating something.

“Mr. Malone, so I still have to continue working at the company to earn money. Can I still get a share of the clothes I design in the future?” Cade was suddenly choked up. He was not happy about it, but it was difficult for him to refuse directly. This time, he already felt reluctant to split the profits with Nydia.

“Don’t just stand there talking, come and eat. The dishes will get cold soon.” Laura timely intervened to shift the focus, not wanting to embarrass Cade.

The four of them sat down to eat. “Willette has been busy with wedding preparations and looking for you these past few days, and she’s lost weight. Her wedding dress almost didn’t fit.” Nydia glanced at Willette, wondering if Laura was lying. Willette clearly gained weight.

“Sis, eat more.” Nydia served Willette a piece of meat. But as soon as Willette put it in her mouth, she suddenly gagged, leaving everyone stunned. She continued to gag several times and rushed to the bathroom. Laura and Nydia hurried over to check on her.

“Willette, what’s wrong?” “Maybe my stomach isn’t feeling well.” Willette didn’t think much of it. When she returned to the table, Willette still felt nauseous and didn’t have much of an appetite.

“Sis, are you… pregnant?” Nydia boldly guessed, leaving the Malone family in shock. “Willette, go to the hospital tomorrow for a checkup.” Laura thought the symptoms were like those of pregnancy. “Okay.”

Nydia noticed that Willette looked a bit panicked. Oh? Could Barclay be the father?

“Sis, I’ll make you an appetizer.”

“No need, I’ll go rest in my room. You guys eat.”

Willette had planned to ask Nydia some questions, but now she was interrupted. Was she really pregnant? It couldn’t be, they used protection, right? Wait, during the safe period… they didn’t. Maybe she was just feeling sick, don’t scare herself! She would go to the hospital tomorrow for a checkup.

After Nydia accompanied Willette back to the room, she went back to eat. Cade began to inquire about Jesse’s situation indirectly. “I heard Jesse had a seizure? Isn’t it scary?”

“He just doesn’t talk, his face is cold, and he owes everyone a billion dollars,” Nydia sarcastically commented, revealing some truth.

“He wants to divorce you, did you agree?”

“No, I have to split the money before I can agree,” Nydia gritted her teeth. “Yeah, you have to split the money, can’t let that jerk get away for free!”

Cade felt relieved after hearing Nydia’s words. “If you have any problems, tell us instead of keeping it to yourself. We will support you.”

Nydia smiled, “Thank you, Mr. Malone.”

“Before, Jesse said that you and my parents had something to do with their death to prevent us from meeting. I don’t believe him!”

Cade’s face suddenly changed, although he quickly concealed it, Nydia still caught the fleeting panic and unease. There must be a problem!

“Nonsense! What does Jesse want to do?” Cade angrily roared and slammed the table heavily.

Laura quickly calmed him down, “Don’t scare Nydia.”

“Nydia, don’t listen to Jesse’s nonsense. He wants you to have a grudge against our family,” Laura said.

“I know,” Nydia nodded, “Sis must be tired from preparing for the wedding these days. Do you need any help?”

“Will Jesse allow it?” Laura asked.

“I don’t care about him. How about this, I’ll come over after work on Friday and accompany you, and I’ll leave on Saturday.”

Cade and Laura glanced at each other and agreed. After Nydia finished eating, she went upstairs to see Willette.

“Sis, I’m going back. Are you okay?”

“Nydia, if I’m pregnant, I want to get an abortion.”
