Chapter 320 Tavish Wants to Earn Money to Support His Mommy
Reborn Before The Divorce
Jesseâs bedroom was suddenly illuminated, so bright that it was impossible to hide in the shadows.
Nydia was hiding under the bed, listening to the sound of the wheelchair getting closer and closer.
Glancing towards the bed, she was surprised to see something dropped on the bed!
âDonât come any closer!â she thought to herself, slowly moving towards the edge of the bed, reaching out to grab the object.
If Jesse saw it, he would definitely figure it out with his sharp mind.
Holding her breath, she stretched out her hand and grabbed the object just as the sound of the wheelchair disappeared and was replaced by footsteps.
As the footsteps approached, Nydia finally managed to grab the object and quickly retreated back under the bed, her body covered in sweat.
With a sigh of relief, she thought to herself, âThat was close!â
Nydia, hiding under the bed, had no idea what Jesse was doing, only hearing his footsteps.
When Jesse went to take a shower, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
But now she was in a dilemma. Should she leave or continue hiding?
As she pondered, Jesse had finished his shower and appeared beside the bed, his thin and lean legs stepping on the carpet. The bed sank slightly as he lay down.
Nydia remained tense under the bed, waiting for Jesseâs breathing to become long and steady.
She didnât know how much time had passed, but she finally felt Jesse fall asleep.
Climbing out of the bed, she immediately plugged a needle into his head to block his senses.
The rest was the same as usual.
But after this experience, Nydia couldnât help but worry. She was afraid that Jesse would discover her next time. Based on her understanding of Jesse, once he discovered her, it would not be so easy to treat him again.
After finishing everything, she was sweating profusely and quickly went back to her own room to take a shower and go to bed.
The next morning, she went to the restaurant early.
When Jesse woke up, he felt as if his legs were warm. He usually didnât pay attention to his legs, but today he pulled up his pants and took a look. Frowning, he felt that something was different, but he couldnât pinpoint what it was.
After getting out of bed and heading to the wheelchair, his expression suddenly changed. It wasnât just his imagination â he felt that his legs were a bit stronger than before.
What was going on?
After washing up, he went to the dinning room and saw the two kids having breakfast.
âWhereâs your Mommy?â he asked.
âShe went to the restaurant. Good morning, Daddy,â Molly replied, still a bit nervous around Jesse, afraid that she might say something wrong and upset him.
Jesse nodded, feeling better after sensing that his legs were stronger than before.
Tavish noticed this and bravely spoke up.
âDaddy, can you have another wedding with Mommy?â
Upon hearing these words, Jesseâs face changed, and he immediately remembered the divorce agreement and Nydiaâs mention of the three-month deadline. But instead of getting angry, he asked, âWhy are you suddenly bringing this up?â
âBecause Molly and I werenât able to participate in Daddy and Mommyâs wedding, and as members of the family, we should witness your wedding,â Tavish explained.
Jesse remained silent for a moment.
Tavish continued, âI asked Mommy about it, and she said it depends on your decision.â
Jesseâs expression froze, âWhat did you say?â
âI told Mommy about this last night, and she said it depends on your decision.â
Jesse frowned, wondering what Nydia meant by that.
After breakfast, he asked the two children to stay home and went to the office. There were many things to handle at work lately, and he was worried that his illness would affect the companyâs operations. He needed to make sure everything was arranged properly.
However, Tavishâs words kept echoing in his mind throughout the day.
âWhere are you going, Brother?â Molly noticed Tavish carrying a backpack, as if he was about to leave.
âIâm going to participate in a challenge show for smart kids.â
âIs it fun? I want to go too,â Molly said.
Tavish had originally planned to go alone, but leaving Molly at home alone wasnât appropriate. âYou didnât register, so you canât participate in the show, but you can come with me and watch backstage.â
âOkay, I promise to be good.â
It wasnât long before Vincent came to pick up Tavish.
Tavish didnât tell his family about participating in the show, only that he was going out to play. With Vincent taking care of them, the Pascall family didnât think too much about it. After all, both children were capable of taking care of themselves.
âTavish, are you ready? There will be many talented kids in this show,â Vincent said. He knew Tavish was very smart, but thereâs always someone better, and he worried that Tavish would be devastated if he didnât win.
In reality, it was normal for a child under five to lose.
âIâm well prepared,â Tavish replied.
âWhy do you want to participate in this challenge show, Brother?â Molly asked curiously.
âThereâs a prize of five million dollars,â Tavish explained.
Mollyâs eyes widened in shock, âFive million? Thatâs a lot! But Brother, if you need money, you can just ask Dad.â
âDadâs money is Dadâs money. When we earn our own money, it becomes our own, and thatâs different. Besides, isnât it impressive that we can earn money ourselves?â
Molly tilted her head and thought for a moment. âMolly wants to earn money too,â she said.
After considering it for a moment, Vincent suggested, âWhy doesnât Molly participate? If she enters the top fifty, she can earn twenty thousand.â
Molly and Tavish had already grasped the concept of money and thought that twenty thousand was not bad, so Molly agreed, mainly because she wanted to play with her brother.
They arrived at the location arranged by the program group. There were a lot of people there, and it felt like there were several thousand.
The final number of participants turned out to be over twenty-three thousand, which was quite shocking.
When the program group saw Vincent, they asked, âHello, do you have anyone to take care of your child? The exam time is not short, so youâd better arrange for your child first, or elseâ¦â
âItâs not me taking the exam.â
âOh, is it your spouse? What about your spouse? I need to give out the test center numbers.â
âItâs these two children taking the exam.â Vincent called Molly and Tavish over.
âWhat?â The staff was very surprised and thought he was joking. âIâm very busy right now and donât have time to deal with youâ¦â
âSir, my sister and I are taking the exam. I remember the rules say that thereâs no age limit, right?â Tavish looked at the staff and smiled, with clear speech and fluent expression.
The staff looked at the child who looked about five years old and was somewhat surprised.
âItâs true that thereâs no age limit, butâ¦â
âThen please give us our test center numbers. We need to prepare. If we win, weâll treat you to candy, Sir.â
Looking at these two adorable children, even if he felt the child was joking, he couldnât get angry. After all, the organizer did not limit age, and the first round was open to anyone who signed up.
âGood luck to you!â He handed the test center numbers to Molly and Tavish.
They entered the exam room, where there were already many people. Each person had a table, and each table had a tablet computer on it.
âWhose child is this? Take them away, the exam is about to start.â
âKid, go find your parents.â
âWeâre here to take the exam.â Molly took out her test center number.
A man who was quite old immediately scolded, âNonsense!â
