Chapter 327 Jesse is a Real Dog
Reborn Before The Divorce
âMommy!â Molly cried out in fear.
âIâm here, Molly, donât be afraid. Whereâs Tavish? Come here,â Nydia said.
The two children came to Nydiaâs side, and she turned on the flashlight on her phone and placed the children next to Jesse. âIâll go look for some candles.â
âMissus, the candles are here. We have prepared everything you asked for,â the butler said.
Not only were there candles, but there was a charged desk lamp. The living room immediately regained some light, although it wasnât as bright as before, at least it wasnât pitch black and scary.
Jesse looked at Nydia thoughtfully. He felt like Nydia knew something beforehand. It had been many years since they had seen such a heavy rainstorm. How could Nydia know about it?
âDaddy, Mommy, letâs play a game,â Tavish suggested. They couldnât do anything with the power out, so it was better for the family of four to stay together and play games.
They played puzzle games together, and whoever lost had to give a kiss to the other three.
Upon hearing this, Nydia subconsciously glanced at Jesse, and he lowered his gaze, lost in thought.
The first game they played was an English word chain game:
âYellow,â Nydia said first.
âWhat,â Tavish followed.
âThink,â Jesse continued.
âMolly lost!â
Molly had to give kisses to the other three.
âThere,â Jesse said.
âElite,â Tavish followed.
âE⦠era?â Nydia asked uncertainly.
Tavish chuckled, âMommy, thatâs not a word. Era is not a word. You lost.â
Nydia readily gave kisses to Molly and Tavish, but when it was time to kiss Jesse, she felt a bit uneasy.
âMommy, kiss Daddy,â Molly urged.
âDaddy, Iâm going to kiss you now,â Nydia announced.
âOkay.â
â⦠â One dared to speak, and the other dared to respond.
Suddenly, the atmosphere became formal, making it even more awkward. Nydia leaned over and pecked Jesseâs cheek quickly.
Anyway, thereâs no rule that says we have to kiss on the lips.
âBingo,â Tavish said.
âOrange,â Molly followed.
âEaster,â Nydia added.
It was Jesseâs turn, but he simply said, âI donât know, I give up.â
ââ¦â Was that too straightforward?
Molly and Tavish both went over to let Jesse kiss them on the cheek.
Nydia was still wondering whether she should go to him or let him come to her.
âCome here!â Jesse commanded, and she had no choice but to go to him.
As she waited for Jesse to kiss her cheek, she heard him say to the two children, âClose your eyes.â
âWhat?!â What was he doing?!
The two children quickly closed their eyes and covered them with their small hands.
âMommy and Daddy will take their time, weâre not in a hurry.â
âHey, youâ¦â She didnât even finish her sentence before her lips were blocked.
Jesse held her neck and applied pressure. She leaned into him and instinctively placed her hands on his chest. His solid and muscular chest made her momentarily dizzy.
In the midst of this dizziness, Jesse pried open her lips and entangled with her.
She opened her eyes and tried to push him away, but he held her too tightly. She didnât dare struggle too hard, for fear of waking the two children.
Bastard!
After tasting enough sweetness, Jesse let go of Nydia.
Nydia was dizzy and looked at him with misty eyes.
When he saw her plump, red lips, Jesseâs eyes blurred slightly. He wanted to taste them again, but when he glanced at the two children, he had to give up.
âOpen your eyes.â
Molly and Tavish finally opened their eyes and immediately looked at Jesse and Nydiaâs reactions, then snickered.
Nydia had one word written on her forehead at this time: speechless!
Jesse was really sick. He wanted to divorce her on one hand, but kissed her so passionately on the other, giving people the illusion that he didnât want to divorce her at all.
The game continued.
After Jesse lost three times in a row, Nydia went crazy. He did it on purpose! Definitely on purpose!
Her lips were swollen from being kissed so much!
Her lips were now sore and numb, but in Jesseâs eyes, they were even more alluring.
She didnât want to play anymore!
It was rare that she didnât have to work hard and could go to bed early. The situation outside was really bad, and she couldnât help but worry.
âHow long will this storm last?â Jesse asked.
Nydia was stunned. She was about to say she didnât know, but then she realized that Jesse had asked her, so he must have wanted an answer.
âIt should be intermittently stopping tomorrow afternoon, and everything should be fine the day after tomorrow.â She spoke with a skeptical tone, making her words sound like guesses.
Jesse didnât say anything. After all, it was difficult to estimate the duration of this terrible weather, and how did Nydia know? She even knew when it would stop.
He couldnât help but think of all the changes she went through after drowning.
Was she really Nydia?
If Nydia knew what Jesse was thinking at this moment, she would surely be amused and annoyed, suspecting that she had been replaced.
When the people from the Wagner family learned that Zane had publicly denied his fiancee Pippa, they came to the Porter family together. When they arrived at the Porter familyâs house, it had not yet started to rain heavily, and they naturally did not pay attention to the impending storm. After all, they had received orange warnings before, but had not paid much attention to them.
âMiss Wagner, Pippa, itâs been a long time since youâve come to my house to play. Come and sit down,â said Mrs. Porter happily when she saw Pippa.
âThank you, how do you take care of your skin? Why does it look better than mine?â Pippa stared at Mrs. Porterâs face and asked.
âYouâre talking nonsense, how could I be better than you? Iâm much older than you!â
âYouâre the one talking nonsense. Youâre definitely better than me. Look, my skin is not as delicate as yours,â said Pippa.
Mrs. Porter knew that Pippa was flattering her, but she was still happy. Who doesnât like to be praised?
âZane went to work. Iâll ask him to come back for dinner,â said Mrs. Porter.
âPlease donât tell Zane that Iâm here, otherwise Iâm afraid he will be upset,â said Pippa.
âWhatâs wrong?â
âI went to the company to look for him yesterday, and he was upset,â said Pippa, feeling helpless and embarrassed.
Mrs. Porter was embarrassed too. She muttered under her breath, âHe doesnât know how to cherish you, heâll definitely end up single!â
âItâs not Zaneâs fault. I was too reckless,â said Pippa.
âOkay, letâs talk about it when he comes back for dinner later.â
When Zane came back from work and saw Pippa, his face darkened, showing some displeasure. But he couldnât show his anger in front of so many people.
âZane, I was wrong yesterday. I apologize to you,â said Pippa to Zane.
âYou should be apologizing to someone else, not me,â Zane frowned.
Pippa was surprised and puzzled. Was Zane asking her to apologize to Willette? What did he mean? Did he still value Willette more than her?
âZane, I was just trying to advise Willette to stay away from Nydia. Nydia is a troublemaker, and I was just looking out for her,â said Pippa.
âWhat happened to your manners? Who taught you to talk behind peopleâs backs like that?â Zane put down his fork heavily and said coldly.
