Chapter 377 Unreasonably Angry at Her
Reborn Before The Divorce
Nydia was stunned, looking at him in astonishment.
Her gaze lingered on his face for a moment before quickly shifting away, pausing again before returning to his face.
âAre you serious?â she couldnât help but gulp.
The wicked smile on his lips gave his features a strange beauty, with less sharpness than usual and a temptation that was irresistible.
With the corners of his eyes raised and the corners of his mouth upturned, his slightly red lips were just right, and his black hair contrasted with his black eyes like a beautiful but dangerous spectacle.
Jesseâs fingers lightly touched her cheek, his tone playful and mellow, âYou provoked me three or four times, did you think I would let you go?â
ââ¦â She was doomed tonight!
But she really wanted to ask: Arenât you going to divorce me? Why are you still so obsessed with my body?
Before the divorce, she wanted to eat her fill of meat, so she wouldnât want to eat it for a long time afterward?
âSo youâre saying that youâre lying like a king, and Iâm supposed to serve you?â
âOtherwise? Iâd like to serve you, but my hands wonât allow it.â
ââ¦â Go to hell!
But there was no atmosphere at all now, and she really couldnât feel anything.
Jesse got out of bed directly, and when Nydia was confused, he came back holding a white lace nightgown.
âWear this.â
Nydia glanced at him and said irritably, âNext time someone asks you about your clothes, donât just say that you bought millions worth of dresses for your wife, you also bought her a lot of sexy nightgowns!â
âWhen they ask you, âIt looks like you and your wife have a good relationship,â and you answer, âNo, I just think she looks good in them.'â
Her sarcasm fell on Jesseâs ears, but he nodded in satisfaction.
âIâll answer like that next time.â
ââ¦â Next time my ass! Weâll already be divorced soon!
In the end, she still changed into the nightgown, letting her hair fall loose, with her shoulders subtly exposed, and the atmosphere immediately became apparent.
Jesseâs eyes fell on her body, but lingered for a moment on her wrist and ankle before scanning her neck.
Not knowing what he was thinking, Nydia didnât understand why he didnât seem so satisfied from his expression. But didnât he pick out the nightgown himself?
He went to the closet again.
âPut this on.â He put a furry bracelet on Nydiaâs right wrist.
Before Nydia could figure out what it was for, Jesse forcibly pulled her closer, and the two of them were suddenly very close.
âKiss me!â His voice was commanding.
He doesnât take the initiative, he wants Nydia to take the initiative, but he still controls the pace.
She knows heâs always been a controlling person, likes to have everything in his hands, and he canât stand being disabled, he hates any loss of control.
The soft fabric canât block anything, instead it brings a slight friction.
Originally, she felt like there was no atmosphere, but at the moment he kissed her, she was enveloped in a cloud, enjoying the sweet sugar, with the sticky and pulling sensation unique to sugar.
And then she finally understood why Jesse wanted her to wear the furry bracelet.
He has changed!
He has ideas!
Heâs no longer the man whose ears turn rosy when teased!
However, his ears are still rosy, and his handsome, sinister face is shattered.
She saw panic on his face, like the satisfaction and worry of being caught after stealing something.
Even tears glittered in the corners of his eyes.
âJesse,â she called softly, kissing his eyes unconsciously, kissing away his tears. The salty taste spread in her mouth, making her feel pity for him.
He bit his lip and curled up in her arms like a baby.
He was so big, but now he looked so small, making her feel pity.
âGo to sleep, babe, good night,â she caressed his black hair and coaxed him to sleep.
In the darkness, Jesse turned over and hugged Nydia.
He regretted it.
He couldnât bear to divorce her or let her go.
Even if she had a purpose for these three months, he still couldnât bear to let her go.
Just the thought of her doing the same thing to other men made him lose control of his emotions instantly. He couldnât even think about it, let alone see her standing with another man.
No!
He wouldnât allow it!
Unconsciously tightening his arms, he held Nydia in an imprisoned posture!
Nydia was awakened, but she didnât move and quietly leaned against him.
At 7:30 in the morning, Jesse woke up.
He used the remote control to pull back the first layer of curtains, and the morning light shone through the curtains.
He saw Nydiaâs beautiful sleeping face.
The strap of her nightdress slipped down to her arm, revealing her fair skin. For a man in the morning, seeing this scene is undoubtedly a very torturous thing.
He glanced at his injured right hand and decided that this time he wouldnât let Barclay off easy. Even if he didnât kill him, he would make sure Barclay got a taste of his own medicine. As he looked more and more agitated, he finally got up from bed.
When Nydia woke up, she didnât see anyone in bed and waited for a while before seeing him coming out of the bathroom.
âGood morning,â she said.
âItâs not morning anymore, get up!â Jesse replied impatiently.
Nydia was confused by his sour face. She didnât do anything wrong. âHey, why are you so angry?â she asked, as she got up and brushed her hair.
Jesseâs expression turned even darker as he walked out the door, responding with a louder than usual slamming sound.
ââ¦â He was such a jerk!
It was Saturday, and the two children didnât have to go to school. âI am going to accompany daddy to see the doctor today. Are you going to come with us or stay at home?â Nydia asked.
Mollyâs first reaction was to follow them, but Tavish spoke first. âMommy, weâre not going. Weâll stay at home. Thereâs a brain challenge today, and we canât go out.â
âOkay,â Nydia didnât force them.
After breakfast, she and Jesse went to the hospital to see a psychiatrist. Although the process was better suited for individual testing, Jesseâs case was special, and Nydiaâs presence during the test could help him adjust his emotions better in the future.
âHis emotions have stabilized a lot lately,â the doctor looked at the report with some relief. âIs he taking his medication regularly?â
âYes,â Jesse lied without changing his expression. He didnât take it regularly, just occasionally.
Psychiatric medications often come with significant side effects, and Nydia didnât recommend taking them regularly either, so she didnât expose him.
âTry not to stimulate his emotions. If he can maintain this state for two or three years, the possibility of a full recovery is very high.â
Two or three years? Nydia felt like the sky was about to turn dark. This couldnât be true!
âWhat if heâs stimulated again?â she asked weakly.
âIt may be worse than before, so be extra careful!â
The doctorâs words chilled Nydiaâs heart.
