Chapter 790 – Willette and Taylor Fighting

Willette promised Taylor that she would go to dinner at the Malone Residence.

Cade was now out of the hospital and recuperating at home, with a specialized doctor taking care of him.

The burns on his body hadn’t healed all the way and it was still a daily ordeal, but he was now dealing with something significantly more torturous than his injuries.

He basically wouldn’t be alone with Taylor because of his defense, there had to be a third person present, but he was always trembling with fear that someone else might be bribed by Taylor.

“You take good care of me, and when I recover, you will never be shortchanged.” Cade said to the caretaker.

“Mr. Malone, don’t worry, I will take good care of you, this is my job, I get paid to do my job.”

Hearing something like that didn’t reassure Cade.

Taylor came to Cade when she got home, “I’ve made an appointment with Leonardo and she’s coming over for dinner.”

At this point Taylor didn’t realize that Leonardo was Willette.

“Did she say yes quickly or did she push back a little?”

“Pushed back a little, it was my repeated invitation that made me say yes.”

Taylor looked at Cade, worrying about a lot of things, she knew that Cade had her on the defensive, she couldn’t find a chance to get down at all, the main thing was that she didn’t dare anymore, once Cade was in trouble, she was the most suspected, when the time came the money wasn’t gained but also went in, it was not worth the loss.

Two days later, Willette came to the Malone Residence as a guest.

“Mr. Malone, you seem to be recovering well, I believe that soon you will be able to return to the company to run the show.”

“Leonardo, I’ve really seen some people clearly during the time of my accident, I can’t believe that after helping you out a little bit in the beginning, you’ve remembered it until today and come to see me from time to time, thank you so much.”

“I’m just checking in on you, it’s also Mrs. Malone who takes good care of Mr. Malone.” Willette looked to Taylor, “Mrs. Malone, I’ll drink to that.”

“I’ve had several accidents taking care of him, I didn’t do a good job.”

“But you’ve been there for him, unfailingly, and that’s the rarest of things, and you haven’t taken care of anyone before, it’s normal.”

Taylor squeezed out a smile, she’d always found Leonardo odd, but couldn’t quite put her finger on what it was.

She didn’t understand why Cade had invited Leonardo over for dinner today, she didn’t think it was necessary to make such a big deal out of just two visits.

It was so counter-intuitive to think of treating a beautiful woman to dinner when she hadn’t even healed herself.

“Leonardo, you’re very good looking, but why is your voice so raspy, is it natural?” Cade suddenly mentioned her voice.

This made Willette tense up, speculating in her mind if Cade knew who she was, could it be that Nydia had told?

Come to think of it, Nydia didn’t even have to help her hide it.

“Born.” She said lightly.

As long as Cade didn’t open up about it, she would never admit it.

“Let me say something that might offend you Leonardo, at first when I saw you in person I thought you looked like a heavenly creature, then I heard your voice and I almost thought it wasn’t the same person.”

“At the time it felt a little peculiar to have that huskiness of yours, now I can understand it.”

Willette’s mind drummed, she was already sure that Cade was testing her, why just testing and not really revealing her, she regretted coming today, she always felt like something was going to happen today.

“After my accident my voice went hoarse, I think you sound a bit like me, it’s really not very comfortable to sound hoarse like that.”

“Why does Mr. Malone keep talking about my voice? If Mr. Malone doesn’t like hearing my voice, I’ll talk less from now on.”

“It’s certainly not that he dislikes you, it’s mainly because he’s heartbroken, a girl so beautiful should be fit for a sweeter voice.”

Willette smiled without speaking, always feeling that Cade meant something.

“Ms. Reyes already has a lot of people chasing after her, wouldn’t it be even more if her voice was even more perfect, in fact, I think Ms. Reyes has a very distinctive voice.”

Taylor’s tone was clearly sour, even though she was speaking in Willette’s favor.

Cade, however, suddenly placed his fork heavily on the table, startling Taylor, she was just about to speak when she heard Cade looking at Leonardo with a furious look on his face as he spoke, “How much longer are you going to pretend, do you think I don’t know who you are?”

“Master, you, what are you doing?” Taylor was a little confused.

Willette didn’t say anything, just looked at Cade.

“You don’t even recognize your old man me when you go abroad and come back again, do you?” Cade was so angry that his breathing intensified and his face took on an ugly look.

Taylor was stunned, looking at Cade and then Willette, the man was dumbfounded.

Why couldn’t she understand Cade?

“Don’t we have nothing to do with each other anymore? I’ve changed my face now, even changed my name, it’s already okay, why do you need to break it up again, is it interesting?”

Willette’s voice was cold and her tone mocking.

At this moment, Taylor finally realized what was going on, the beautiful woman in front of her was not Leonardo, but Willette, she immediately had a chill down her spine and felt very scared, subconsciously keeping her distance from Willette.

After all, the hatred between her and Willette was not something that could be clarified in a few simple words.

“You’re the bitch!” Taylor was not happy, somehow she was scolded.

The day had hit her hard and she subconsciously cursed back.

As a result, Willette hit Taylor directly.

Taylor directly wrestled with her.

The two women fought hard, the scene was very chaotic, Cade saw the two of them fight without persuading them to fight, he was happy to see them fight, however, as they fought, the battlefield suddenly spread towards his side, making him tense up, he was about to call out to someone, but he was knocked to the ground.

His voice was hoarse, he didn’t shout out much, and in the midst of the chaos, he felt as if something had entered his mouth, and he simply couldn’t spit it out in time before swallowing it.

After coughing a few times which simply wouldn’t come out, he wondered if it could be a dish from the table that accidentally flew into his mouth.

As a result, before he could stand up, Taylor sat on his butt and almost suffocated him, luckily it was the commotion over here that attracted the attention of the caretaker and the bodyguard, rushing over to pull the two women apart before helping him up, he gasped for air, any worse and he probably would have suffocated straight to death.

“You two want to fight get out and fight!” Cade was furious.

“This is my house, why should I get out, if I have to, it’s her who has to get out, this person who is taking on Leonardo’s identity isn’t Willette at all!” said Taylor with her cloaked face in a state of disarray, and a few scratches on her face, but she was still cocky.

“Willette, where did you hide my gold?” Cade had actually called Willette here today for this matter, he just didn’t expect Taylor to fight her.
