Chapter 803 – Molly Voluntarily Follows Alex

“Dad, you’ll be in charge of the arrangements on the family side, I’m worried that Alex might take advantage of some of the people in the family.”

Jesse didn’t refuse and rested on her knee, letting her massage his head.

Her gentle force and soft fingers made the massage soothing and slowly eased his highly strung nerves.

Before he knew it he was asleep and Nydia didn’t move, letting him rest on her lap and get a good night’s sleep.

Jesse woke up only to realize that he had actually fallen asleep.

“Why didn’t you call me, are you tired?” Worried about tiring Nydia, he hurriedly got up and rubbed Nydia’s legs.

“Not tired, you’ve only been asleep for ten minutes.”

“You’ve been so tired lately, it was hard to fall asleep, so of course I had to let you sleep better.”

Jesse laughed and touched her face, “Don’t worry, Alex can’t sleep well when I can’t, and with his physical conditioning he certainly can’t outlast me, he can even stay up.”

“People have special medicine for that.”

“Then my wife is still a doctor.”

Nydia was amused by him.

“Is the Grand Master coming to see Molly?”

“I’d like to take Molly over for a couple days, so tell Jesse.” Alex said lightly.

“Grand Master, I can’t make that call, I’d have to ask Mr. Pascall.”

“Besides Miss Molly may not be willing to follow the Grand Master, Miss Molly is a child who seems to be very talkative and kind, but doesn’t like to be forced to do things or she can be very stubborn.”

Alex didn’t say anything, by this time Molly and Tavish had come out.

Tavish was the first to see Alex standing with Jeff the butler.

“Molly, Alex is here.”

“What’s he doing here?”

“Probably here to pick you up.”

“Brother, so do I have to go with him? What if I don’t go with him and he hurts Mommy and Daddy?”

Tavish took her hand and said firmly, “Molly, do what you want, you can go with him and have fun if you want to, don’t do it for daddy and mommy, daddy and mommy and brother don’t need to be kept safe with your sacrifices, okay?”

“Together as a family we are the strongest force.”

Molly nodded vigorously.

They arrived in front of Alex and Jeff.

“What brings you here, Big Grandpa?” Molly asked, tilting her head.

“Missed Molly, so I came over to pick Molly up from school.” Alex’s body is not very convenient to crouch down right now, so he can only bend down slightly and ask with a smile, “Would Molly like to go home with Big Grandpa?”

“If I go home with you, what if daddy and mommy and brother miss me?” Molly asked innocently.

“You’ll go home with Big Grandpa for one day and then go back to Daddy and Mommy’s house tomorrow, okay?”

“Big Grandpa, I’m so cute, what if you can’t bear to send me home?”

Molly’s question would have been a different story if it had been asked by an adult, but her asking it would only have made her look naive and cute, a question from a small child, not a consideration from an adult.

“I don’t think Big Grandpa ever lied to you, did he? Think about it, Big Grandpa sent your grandmother home, and sent you and your brother and Daddy home, didn’t he?”

It was right to say so.

Molly couldn’t find a reason to say no at once, mainly because she was thinking that if she could get Big Grandpa to stop hurting Mommy and Daddy, that would be the best thing, and no one would need to get hurt.

“Okay then, I’ll go back with Big Grandpa today, and then I’ll go home tomorrow, and brother, you go home and tell Daddy that they don’t need to worry about me, and that I’m sure I’ll be well taken care of at Big Grandpa’s.”

Tavish froze, he hadn’t realized that Molly hadn’t meant to take him with her, the two siblings hardly ever separated on.

Now Molly was going to follow Alex and he would be worried if he didn’t.

“Jeff, call daddy.” Tavish felt it was better to let Jesse know about this and let him decide.

“Okay young master.”

Jeff called Jesse, who learned what happened and told Jeff to give his cell phone to Molly.

“Daddy.” Molly stepped aside to answer the phone without putting it on speaker.

“Molly don’t be afraid, Molly doesn’t have to go if she doesn’t want to, daddy will be over to pick you up now.” He was worried that Jeff wouldn’t be able to handle it on his own.

“It’s okay daddy, I actually quite like big grandpa, big grandpa is quite lonely and pitiful all by himself, I’ll just go and stay with him for a day, if big grandpa lies and doesn’t send me back, you’ll bring someone to teach him a good lesson for being a liar.”

“Okay, take care of yourself and call daddy if anything happens.”

Molly hung up the phone and handed it back to Jeff, then held Alex’s hand, “Big Grandpa, let’s go, I want a cheese stick!”
