Chapter 823 – Falling into a Trap

Vultuulf’s entire body went bad when he heard Vincent’s rhetorical question.

“You and I are a couple aren’t we?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Then shouldn’t we do something a couple should do?” That’s a pretty direct hint, isn’t it?

“Didn’t we sleep together? Why would I allow you to lie in the same bed with me if we weren’t a couple?”

Vultuulf was instantly cranky.

“What’s wrong with you?” Vincent looked puzzled.

“Nothing, sleep!” She lay down again then rolled over and turned her back to Vincent.

But she couldn’t sleep at all in this state, and the more she thought about it, the angrier she got.

One moment she wondered if she wasn’t attracted to him and he didn’t even have an idea.

One day, she wondered if Vincent wasn’t very good at what he did, or else he wouldn’t have any ideas.

“Vultuulf, get up and tell me what you’re mad about?” Vincent asked somewhat seriously as he turned on the light.
