Chapter 844 Frederick meets Nydia

The door to the hospital room was then pushed open and Fernand entered.

“Can’t you sleep either?” Fernand came in and looked around.

“In my current condition, I often have trouble sleeping at night.” It was normal to feel uncomfortable after sleeping for a while when your stomach was too big.

At this point she was nervous that Fernand would find Frederick, and if he did, Frederick would absolutely die.

Even though Fernand painted big pictures to her every day, she felt that Fernand was just a mean person who was treating her pretty well right now, mainly because of the baby in her belly.

“It’ll be easier for you when it’s born.”

Nydia felt creeped out when Fernand said that, and her whole body stood up in a sweaty, guarded state.

“You and Jesse are so in love, how could he let you get pregnant and have a baby that’s so hard and painful? It seems his love for you is all talk.”

“It’s something I’m willing and want to have.”

“Don’t you already have a pair of dragon and phoenix babies, and you’re still not satisfied? But that’s greedy.”

Nydia couldn’t guess his mind at all, she didn’t speak anymore, keeping silent for fear of revealing her nervousness.

Her eyes didn’t dare to look around either.

“Hungry? Do you want something to eat?”

“I can’t eat too much right now or the baby in my stomach will be too big to be born.” Nydia refused, all she wanted now was for Fernand to hurry up.

“Let’s go for a walk then, the stars are beautiful over here.”

Fernand had a wheelchair brought in and got Nydia out, there was no way she could refuse, but it was good that they were out of the hospital room so Frederick wouldn’t be found out.

There were just some things that were too late to explain.

Frederick had been here once though, it would be easier the second time around.

“You seem a little distracted.” Fernand asked absently as he pushed his wheelchair.

Now Fernand could walk on his own, like a normal, healthy person.

“Since you didn’t answer my question before and made me come out in the middle of the night to look at the stars, I feel uneasy.” She said directly.

“I don’t really like hypothetical questions, it’s natural to decide when it actually happens.”

“As for stargazing, can’t you sleep either? Then let’s talk together and save yourself the loneliness.” He quickly changed his tune though, “You’re not alone, it’s three, I’m the one who’s alone.”

“No, you’re not alone either.” Nydia picked up.

Fernand froze for a moment, then it dawned on him, “Right, I’m not alone either, you’re so smart.”

“…” didn’t want to be complimented at all, okay? It was as if they were watching a ghost movie!

“It’s a little chilly, I’d like to go back.” It was too chilly.

As a result, Fernand took off his own jacket and put it on her, “Sit down for a while longer.”

Nydia had a jolt and immediately gave him back his jacket, “It’s not like I’m cold.”

“If you’re not cold, so is the baby, drape yourself, and do as you’re told.”

“…” Grrr! That was horrible!

She really thought Fernand was scarier than Alex.

Despite hitching a ride in Fernand’s clothes, she still felt cold, the kind of cold that was in her bones.

Alex might as well pick an idiot for a heart swap better, picking a smart one could easily be counter-suppressed, hypnosis would have some effect, but hypnosis too many times would actually be counter-productive.

“Almost done, go back.”

Fernand escorted her back to the hospital room.

When he left, Nydia didn’t dare to speak, but carefully walked to the bathroom, where everything returned to normal, as if Frederick hadn’t been there.

It was good to be gone, at least it was safe.

And at that moment on the other side, Frederick said with difficulty, “Come on, pull me up.”

Theo held his hand and pulled him out.

After coming out Frederick hurriedly took off the clothes on his body, “Stinks me to death, go go go, hurry and wash up.”

“How is Lady Nydia doing?” Theo was concerned about that.

“Just know how to care about your Lady Nydia, can’t you care about me?” Frederick said in a nonchalant manner.

“What do I care about you for?” Theo was baffled.

Frederick ignored him and immediately got water to rinse it off before getting in the car, “Come on, let’s go back first.”

“Would it kill you to give me a straight answer?”

“She’s alive and well, we talked.”

“Okay.” Theo was relieved to get that answer, at least Lady Nydia was okay just fine.

“Told you it wouldn’t be a problem if the old man stepped in, but that road is really dirty.”

Even though she’d worn the waterproof kind of clothes, which she’d now taken off, the smell always followed him around, making him afraid to even lean into Theo.

When he got back, Frederick went to wash his hair and take a shower first thing, getting that done quickly before coming to check in with Jesse.

“Alex’s heart is already in Fernand’s body, and according to what Mrs. Pascall said, Fernand now gives off the odd impression of being an oxymoron, with qualities of Alex and Fernand.”

“And?” Jesse asked eagerly.

“Mrs. Pascall is fine now, and the baby is fine, it’s that Fernand means for her to give the baby to Fernand when it’s born, the baby can’t be taken away from her, and she’s not sure as to whether Mrs. Pascall can go or not, because Fernand hasn’t given a definite answer.”

“Is there any more?”

“Mrs. Pascall inquired about your condition, and I said you were holding up okay.”

Jesse nodded, that was correct.

“Fernand came before we could say two words, so I pulled out.”

“Fernand went to Lady Nydia at this late hour?” said Theo, thinking it made no sense.

“Inviting Mrs. Pascall out to see the stars seems odd to me, too.”

Jesse put a finger against the spot on his temple, “You two have worked hard, go ahead and get some rest.”

“Okay, call us if you need anything.”

Theo left with Frederick.

“Tell me exactly what’s going on in there.”

“In my room?”

“Good.”

Theo followed Frederick to the room.

The two drew out the route map after careful discussion, they could only get a general idea before, with Frederick making this trip, it would be a good help to them, if they could get more people inside, the chances of rescuing Nydia from the inside would be high.

Both of them were sleepy by the time they got to the back of the conversation, the cigarette butts were piling up on the ashtray.

“Let’s go to bed first, I’m sleepy.”

Theo nodded and was about to leave when Frederick pulled him back, “Sleep together, don’t you mind?”

“Uh-huh.”

The two fell back to sleep without another word, they were really sleepy.

The next morning when they woke up both of them were stunned, but the sleeping position basically did not move, after all, they are all well-trained people, sleeping are used to maintain a position.

Frederick stretched, “Let’s send this chart to Mr. Pascall and we can deploy next.”

“Uh-huh.”

However while they were deploying on this side, something was going on on Nydia’s side.

Originally, Nydia was staying in the hospital room properly, but suddenly a few people came over to take her away.

“What are you doing?” She struggled and didn’t cooperate.

“You’d better not move, or you’ll be responsible for hurting your child.” There was a warning in the icy words.

“Where’s Fernand? I want to see him!”

“That’s what the chief ordered, you’ll see him soon.”
