Chapter 855: Still Paranoid After Becoming Stupid

Frederick was shamelessly continuing to come up, “Do you, the big president, have a girlfriend yet? I see that you have so many fans and have come into contact with so many beautiful women, it’s not as if you’re still single, right?”

“What does it have to do with you?”

“Why are you so defensive? We’ve kind of been friends for a long time.” Frederick sighed.

Theo glanced at him, thinking that the man was really full of himself.

However, he was recognizing Frederick’s ability, so he didn’t say anything.

“I’ll leave first, there are things to take care of.”

“Together.”

Theo, however, frowned, “Together? Shouldn’t you stay here and protect them now?”

“I have to protect them in the shadows, not in the open.”

“You stay here.”

After Theo left, Frederick went into his room.

Nydia and Jesse didn’t go into the room, but went to the terrace.

“Still mad?” Nydia poked Jesse’s cheek and she felt Jesse puff up.

“Can we stop hanging out with Theo?” Jesse said angrily.

“No, Theo has helped us a lot, we couldn’t have escaped from the bad guys without him, so if we don’t deal with him now, wouldn’t that be a bridge too far? This is not right.”

“But he …” Jesse was defiant.

“He won’t in the future.”

“He still thinks that in his heart.” Jesse was genuinely exasperated by Theo and looked unforgiving.

Nydia laughs, “So you don’t trust me? Isn’t the decision of who I choose to be with up to me? I’ll be with whoever I choose to be with, so what are you worried about?”

“Didn’t I tell you earlier when I was in the car? What are you still worried about? Either that or you don’t trust me.”

“I trust you!” Jesse said sharply.

“Then wouldn’t that be fine? Stop being mad and let’s video call Molly and Tavish, they must miss us.”

Jesse nodded.

Molly and Tavish’s little faces appeared on the video and Nydia was instantly happy.

“Mommy, we missed you so much.” Molly immediately expressed her thoughts to Nydia.

“Don’t you guys miss me?” Jesse disgruntled.

“Miss you miss you.” Molly really couldn’t call out to her brother, who could call their daddy a brother?

But then Jesse said, “Call daddy!”

“Huh? I thought you wouldn’t let us call Daddy?” Molly wondered.

“Now that you will, scream!”

Molly glanced at Tavish, who nodded, and then the two kids screamed “Daddy” together, much to Jesse’s amusement.

“Daddy, why are you willing to let us call you daddy again?” Molly couldn’t help but ask, thinking it was so strange.

“Because Daddy and Mommy are a couple.” Jesse answered with a straight face.

“Huh?” Molly was a little confused, not quite understanding the answer.

Nydia however understood, this guy was just trying to prove that he and her were a pair, so he was willing to let both kids call daddy, after all, mommy and brother couldn’t be a pair, simply!

Tavish, who always had a high IQ, didn’t get it either.

But the two kids soon stopped dwelling on it and were soon talking about something else, asking how long they were going to be over here, when they were going to be home and so on.

“Mommy, can we come visit you guys, I miss you.”

“Sure, let Auntie or Uncle Vergil bring you guys over when it’s the weekend, okay?”

Nydia also misses the two children, if she is going to stay here for a longer period of time, the two children can come over to play.

“Yeah!” Molly and Tavish were happy.

After chatting a bit more they hung up the video call.

After hanging up, she realized that someone didn’t seem too happy.

“What’s wrong you?”

“You have many, many people on your mind.”

Hearing such gambling words, Nydia didn’t even know what to say, she knew he was paranoid, but didn’t realize that he would still be so paranoid after becoming stupid.

“You’re the only one in my heart!” Jesse said staring into her eyes.

“Jesse, it’s not possible for everyone to have only one person in their heart, Molly and Tavish are our children, don’t I as a mom have to love them? It’s impossible not to want the kids, right?”

Jesse didn’t say anything, but the look on his face was clearly not very happy.

“Surely we’re responsible for them since we gave birth to them, right?”

“But there would be an order of importance in my mind, and we Jesse would definitely come first.” Nydia made a gesture to show Jesse that she was placing him at the top of her heart.

“Fine.” He was visibly upset, but he couldn’t argue with that.

In his perception, as long as he was with Nydia that was all that mattered, everyone else was unimportant and could be non-existent.

Now Nydia was trying to forcefully change his mind, and it was killing him.

But Jesse still chooses to compromise.

“Anyway, you’re the only one in my heart right now, and there’s nothing I can do about it as far as what’s … in your heart goes.” He sighed and lay down sullenly, digesting these emotions alone.

There was nothing Nydia could do but go and get feedback on this with Dr. Huffpove tomorrow.

After a few days in Zinamosa, Jesse’s state was relatively stable and Fernand hadn’t come against them, but that didn’t put Nydia’s mind at ease; Fernand was still a scary presence in her opinion.

“Dr. Huffpove, how is he doing now?” Since the last few days had been spent talking and telling stories, she didn’t know how far it had progressed.

“Hypnotherapy will be available in a couple days.”

Hearing that, Nydia knew the general situation, “Thank you.”

Nydia was touched and a little embarrassed to hear that.

“Jesse, try this, it tastes good.” Nydia bought the teppan squid and fed it to Jesse as she thought it tasted good.

He ate whatever Nydia fed him, he was quite happy, it was just the two of them, no one else, and he liked having a two person world.

He bought a cup of milk tea, asked for two straws, drank it with Nydia, and took pictures.

This time Frederick was the one who called, “Mrs. Pascall, I suspect someone is watching you.”
