Chapter -13

As the night stretches, Abhimanyu and Aarushi finally arrived at their destination. The car rolled to stop in front of Rathore Mansion , adorned with  flowers and colorful rangoli designs at the entrance, a traditional welcome for the newlyweds.

Abhimanyu softy tapped on Aarushi's arms and said " Wake up love,we are here." Aarushi felt soft taps on her arm, pulling her out the her hazy dream world .She grumbled and rubbed her eyes looking around. She glanced towards  Abhimanyu who was already looking at her with so much intensity. "Ye hamesha aise ghurte kyu rahte hai" She mumbled to herself.

"Let's go we have reached " Abhimanyu said and came out of the car. Aarushi looked outside the window ,her heart was fluttering with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Abhimanyu came to her side and opened the car door for her.

Aarushi came outside with help of Abhimanyu. Aarushi was astonished looking at Rathore Mansion. She was looking around with open mouth. Abhimanyu came near her ears and whispered "Aapka hi hai chalo"

Aarushi closed her mouth and passed him bored look.

Abhimanyu smiled and placed his hand on her back ,making their way towards entrance. Everyone smiled at them and Aarushi also returned their gesture smiling softly at them.

Abhimanyu's Badi ma  stepped forward, her face beaming with warmth. “Welcome, Aarushi beta,You are now daughter of Rathore's” she said, her voice filled with affection. Aarushi smiled shyly.

She held a small plate filled with rice and a few coins, symbolizing prosperity. Aarushi was asked to kick the plate with her right foot, scattering the rice and coins as she entered. This act was believed to bring good fortune and abundance to the household.

“Now, you must enter with your right foot first,” Badi ma instructed gently, guiding Aarushi to the threshold. With a mix of nervousness and reverence, Aarushi stepped over the threshold, her right foot leading the way, while Abhimanyu held her hand, offering silent support.

Once inside, the family gathered around, showering them with flower petals and blessings. Aarushi felt a wave of warmth envelop her as she was welcomed into her new home. The laughter and chatter filled the air, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

Badi ma lit a small diya (lamp) and placed it in Aarushi’s hands. “This diya symbolizes the light you bring into our home,” she explained. Aarushi carefully placed the diya on the floor, where it flickered to life, illuminating the room with a soft glow.

Finally, as the evening wore on, the family gathered for a small puja  to seek blessings for the couple. Aarushi and Abhimanyu sat side by side, as Badi ma performed the rituals, chanting mantras and offering flowers to the deities. The atmosphere was serene, filled with devotion and love.

"Now it's time for last ritual and my favourite one ring finding ceremony,come lets go " Navya said and quickly went to living room , everyone trailing behind her. Aarushi smiled at her excitement.

Abhimanyu and Aarushi both took their seats around a bowl filled with milk and rose petals ."Now whoever will find ring first ,will have upper hand in this marriage, I am at bhabhi's side  " Navya said and went towards Aarushi.

Aaryan also mumbled to himself "Mai bhi bhabhi ke side per hi chalta hu daant se to bacha lengi kam se kam " and went towards Aarushi. Soon everyone splits into two teams. Aarushi smirked at Abhimanyu and whispered " I am a natural winner "

Abhimanyu and Aarushi both started finding ring in the bowl but suddenly Abhimanyu grabbed her hand and smirked at her direction. She glared at him and gestured him to leave her hand. Abhimanyu didn't paid attention to her warning and started finding ring again. Suddenly Aarushi pinched him but he didn't show any reaction. Aarushi was shocked as her pinches were not bothering him a little.

After some seconds Abhimanyu found the ring and placed it her hands. Aarushi passed him confused look but shrugged off and took out the ring. "Yayyyyy" Everyone cheered for Aarushi. Aarushi sighed softly and Abhimanyu noticed it and said " Let's end all of this ,it's quite late she is tired." And help her in standing up.

Navya took Aarushi with her to upstairs.

Navya stopped in front of a black door and said  " This is bhai's room and now yours too. I can't come inside actually bhai doesn't like anyone's presence in his room so enjoy and byeeeee" Navya winked at her and left from there.

Aarushi sighed and entered in the room. She was astonished looking at his room. "Yeh to mere ghar ke living room se bhi bada hai "

She noticed a sliding door and opened it to get more shocked looking at his closet. " Itne sare kapde saal mai pehn bhi lete honge " she muttered to herself and opened her luggage which was already there.

She took out her comfy clothes and went towards mirror and started  removing her dupatta and pins. She released a soft sigh after opening her hair and caressing them. She was feeling very irritated because of tiredness. She want to sleep peacefully with her pillu but her pillu is also not here with her. She went outside after changing her clothes.

She was going towards washroom to freshen up  when someone knocked on the door. She went towards door and opened it and  noticed Abhimanyu standing there . Abhimanyu looked at her from top to bottom with a sly smile. She rolled her eyes at him and went inside the room ignoring him.

Abhimanyu came towards her and said "Itna gussa". Arushi turned towards him and said "What do you expect from me ,to wait for you like a lovely wife for our first night "

Abhimanyu was taken aback at her sudden outburst."Calm down , I know you are hurt but I will do everything to earn your forgiveness,just try to give me a chance . I want to talk–– " Aarushi cutted Abhimanyu in between and said "Oh please ,hukum Aap to rahne do apka ye pyaar or moka. Mujhe aapse koi baat hi nahi kerni is bare mai . Agar aapko meri thodi Si bhi  fikar hoti to aap mujhe aise majboor nahi kerte lekin aap to hai The Abhimanyu Singh Rathore ,great Arjun Rathore ke bete sabki majboori ka fayda uthayenge hi ,aakhir Khoon to apne baap ka hi hai ,apne rang to dikhayega hi" Aarushi spatted at him and turned to go in washroom but suddenly Abhimanyu pulled her towards him and pinned her at wall .

"What–What are you doing leave me " She said stuttering as her all anger and confidence vanished noticing their proximity.

Abhimanyu came close to her face and said huskily "Listen carefully sweetheart, you can say anything to me and I won't even complain for a single time but don't you dare to take his name from your pretty mouth. Ok? Or do you want to be a bad girl but you know....bad girls gets punishment. Do you want that ?

Aarushi was glaring at him frustratingly. "I hate you " Aarushi said to him. "Nafrat ka dusra nam hi pyaar hai janeman,i too love you " Abhimanyu said dreamily. Arushi gritted her teeths getting irritated from his answers. How can he always make her speechless?

Aarushi pushed him and said "Fuck you " Abhimanyu stepped backward and asked "Will you?" Aarushi opened her mouth to say something but stopped herself and took some deep breaths and went inside the bathroom.

Abhimanyu chuckled and went behind her.He knocked on the door and said " You didn't answer me , I will gladly accept your offer anytime my lord. Please don't hesitate to reach me "Aarushi groaned listening him.

"You are impossible,don't irritate me .I don't wanna talk to you stupid man " Aarushi yelled from inside. Abhimanyu chuckled and went inside closet to change his clothes.

After some minutes Aarushi came outside of the bathroom silently and  quickly ran towards bed and covered herself. She peeked outside from duvet when she heard door sliding sound.

Abhimanyu noticed her and came towards bed. "Yaha kaha " Aarushi questioned. Abhimanyu decided to tease her and answered "To sleep baby "  while coming close to her. He loves everything about her,he love when she laughs ,he love when she teases him ,he even love when she taunts him or yells at him.

" Stop right the–there ,you will not sleep on bed from now, g–go sleep on couch or somewhere else " Aarushi said stuttering as Abhimanyu caged her between his arms.

Aarushi gulped as he hovered over him."Why baby, don't worry i trust you. I know you will not do something with me.My izzat is safe with you " Abhimanyu said acting all innocent.

Aarushi looked at him like he had grown two horns. " What the hell are you saying. I am not even intrested in you. Move and g–go sleep there." Aarushi said getting all flustered.

Abhimanyu smirked internally noticing her face turning red and said  "Why ,don't you trust yourself. Umm? I understand I am hot and handsome, anyone will loose control ,it's not your fault "

"Oh handsome man bas bas pata hai ,mere sath ye dimag na lagao or chup chap jao udhar Verna mai navya ke sath ja ker so jaungi " Aarushi said to him in fake confident voice. "Um hm ?" He hummed and started comming close to her face.

"Hu–hukum" she  stuttered noticing him coming close to her. " Kahi kiss to nahi ker lenge " she thought to herself. She gulped and closed her eyes tightly and started moving her face left and right. " Muh hilati rahungi, kiss nahi ker payenge " she thought in her mind  and started moving her face more fastly .

Abhimanyu frowned at her sudden behaviour and asked "What are you doing , are you having headache" Aarushi opened her eyes still shaking her head and said "No I am fine but I will not stop until you go away "

Abhimanyu quickly took his pillow and moved towards couch. Aarushi stopped shaking his head when she noticed him moving towards the couch . "Are you ok ,is it hurting somewhere" Abhimanyu asked her as he was confused at her sudden act.

"Nope, it's perfect now and don't you dare to come near me  " she said and quickly covered her with duvet. "Yeh to mujhe 1 mahine mai hi pagal ker denge kabhi gussa dilate hai kabhi nervous ker dete hai,period se jyada mood swings to inki wajah se ho rahe hai" she said in her mind.

She was  thinking about her arguments with Abhimanyu as she was having difficulty in sleeping without her pillu "Mujhe inke papa ke bare mai nahi bolna chahiye tha. Inko kuch jyada bura lag gaya hoga toh ,aise kyu bola maine. But inhone gussa dilaya tha Isley nikal gaya mere muh se ,phir bhi yrr sorry bol dena  chahiye  " she thought to herself and groaned. "Why i always had to think all of this before sleeping , can't I sleep without overthinking " she mumbled to herself and pushed her head in pillow getting frustrated without her pillu.

"Jaan ,are you ok? " Abhimanyu asked  her as he noticed her continuosly tossing on bed. "Yes , I am sleepy, don't make any noise " She said and laid down silently.

Abhimanyu was looking at her sitting  quietly on couch as he was not feeling sleepy. After some time when he noticed her sleeping peacefully, he went towards her covered her properly with duvet and placed pillow  on the edges of bed.

He kissed on her forehead and sat on the floor near bed.He sat there for hours, sometimes playing with her hair and sometimes just looking at her. Near 4 O'clock he stood up and layed down on couch felling sleepy.

The insistent buzzing of alarm reached my ears. I groaned and reached out to switch off my phone and again covered myself to sleep for some more minutes.Wait..... I am married and What time is it ? As i realised it I quickly stood up and glanced towards the clock. Oh it's 6 O'clock.

" I woke up early today " I mumbled to myself and again sat down on bed for some time to mentally prepare myself for the day. I glanced towards the couch and noticed hukum is not here . " Where is he " i questioned to myself and stared at the bathroom door just then I got an evil idea.hehe

"Bhot bol rahe the na kal aapke to pareshan kerne mai bhi hume  sukoon milta hai, ab batati hu " I said to myself and smirked. I quickly went inside the closet to take my clothes.
