Xie Limo thought for a moment before answering, “There’s more to her than meets the eye.”

Yun Bixue blinked. She recalled the Xiajun Yanwu she met earlier, and she seemed like a straightforward person.

Xie Limo’s expression shifted, and he looked deeply into Yun Bixue’s eyes. “You’ve seen her? Did she do anything to you?”

Hearing Xie Limo’s anxious tone, Yun Bixue felt warm at heart. She explained, “There was this one time when I was strolling, I met her by chance. We spoke a little, and that was it. She didn’t do anything to me. What’s more, I’m a pregnant lady. She can’t very well resort to getting physical with a pregnant lady, right?”

Xie Limo shook his head resignedly. He pinched Yun Bixue’s face lightly. “I’ve said you’re silly, and you’re really trying to live up to it? You believed what someone appeared to be on the surface just like that? Don’t get near her next time.”

Yun Bixue glared at him. “I’m not silly. I know what to do.”

“If you really know what to do, you should have avoided Xiajun Yanwu instead of talking to her.”

“She’s a princess. What am I going to do if she convicts me of the crime of being disrespectful to her?”
