Chapter 1745 - I Smell Jealousy

With a hand over her stomach, Yun Bixue had wanted to leap up in joy. Truly, one day without him seemed as long as three years.

Usually, when the weather was nice, she didn’t feel much. But with the rain today, she felt especially distracted. Seeing him back though made her feel grounded.

When Xie Limo saw Yun Bixue standing in the courtyard with her big tummy, and with the rain nearly covering over her shoes, his gaze turned dark.

He speedily slipped down the rope from the helicopter, then carried Yun Bixue into the house.

“You sure make me worry when I’m not with you.”

“I’m happy to see you back.” Yun Bixue then circled her arms around his neck and leaned her head against his shoulders, leaning both physically and mentally.

“Ah, you. It’s most important that you love yourself more.”

Just then, someone knocked on the door. Yun Dong opened the door, and a man said respectfully, “Deputy Xie, Your Highness asked me to pass you a message. She said tomorrow we’ll be picking you up and sending you to work in a helicopter as well.”

Xie Limo replied blandly, “I’ve applied for leave tomorrow. There’s no need to pick me up.”

That man’s expression stiffened a little. Without a word, he turned to leave.

Yun Bixue, however, smiled after hearing this.

What an odd princess. To be saying this in front of her deliberately, it’s so obvious she was trying to make her displeased over this matter and to grow suspicious of her husband.

Too bad this princess had underestimated the trust they had in each other.

Yun Bixue looked at Xie Limo and said, “Why didn’t you let them pick you up? It’s great, isn’t it? You’re going to go to work in a helicopter!”

Xie Limo deliberately edged closer to Yun Bixue’s mouth before saying, “I smell jealousy.”

Yun Bixue quickly closed her mouth. She hadn’t even realized it herself—the way she spoke earlier did reek of jealousy.

After a moment, she calmly said, “I’m not jealous. Compared to your safety, I can accept this. I’m actually grateful to that princess for bringing you back in a helicopter today. Your coming home safely is more important than anything else.”

Xie Limo felt very touched. His Ah Xue always moved and fluttered his heart like this.

Even though they had been together for a long time now, he still felt that one day without her seemed as long as three years.

Xie Limo kissed Yun Bixue’s forehead. “Actually, I can deploy the helicopter myself too. But since she came up to talk to me, I took the opportunity to borrow her helicopter and also to tell her that I have only one goal, and that is to come home to take care of you.:

Yun Bixue was surprised. She pushed away Xie Limo and stared intently into his eyes. “You know she has designs on you?”

Yun Bixue explained, “Actually, she didn’t say much to me, and I couldn’t tell either. It’s just a woman’s sixth sense. I feel that she has feelings for you. By the way, have you found the person who placed the flower pots and sprayed the perfume?”

Xie Limo nodded. “I’ve already found those two people. But they’ve resigned on their own accord. Despite that, I managed to find that they have some ties to the royal palace, and that was why they were assigned in the political department.”
