Xie Limo hugged Yun Bixue while saying coldly to the person before him, “Dongfang Mujin, if you don’t let go of the child, don’t dream of getting out of here today.”

“Xie Limo, you think I came here unprepared?”

A dark energy exuded from Xie Limo’s body as his gaze was fixed solemnly upon the man before him. “So what if you’re prepared? I will make sure you can’t go back.”

Dongfang Mujin’s expression stirred as he looked at the dark demon-like Xie Limo.

“Xie Limo, although you’re the successor, you can’t interfere in Brocade Hall’s matters. This has been the Xie family’s rule all along.”

“Rules are meant to be broken instead of being rigidly adhered to!”

Dongfang Mujin laughed out loud. “Xie Limo, you need to know that you are subject to punishment by Black Tiger Whip because you hid from us the fact that you have children. You are only fit to speak after you survive the secret hall’s punishment.”

Yun Bixue’s heart trembled as she listened. She didn’t understand why such cruel rules existed.

Her face turned pale, the color of blood drained from it. However, she forced herself to hang on, gritting her teeth.

Things ended up in this state because she wasn’t strong enough. She couldn’t blame anyone for it.

Yun Bixue bit her lower lip so hard it bled, yet she wasn’t aware.

Xie Limo continued staring coldly at Dongfang Mujin, like a murderous demon. “Dongfang Mujin, the headquarters of today is not what it used to be. I am the one who makes the rules now.”

There was an imposing aura in Xie Limo’s words, making one’s heart tremble involuntarily.

Dongfang Mujin hugged the baby tightly and said, “Then we’ll test if what you say makes the rules. Everyone, disperse!”

Xie Limo immediately sent some of his men to protect Yun Bixue, while taking with him the remaining others to chase after Dongfang Mujin.

Yun Bixue stumbled and tried hard to stand steadily, but her mental energy had been pushed to its limit.

Yun Bixue clenched her teeth and went back into the house, her eyes bloodshot. Still, she held back her tears.

Shortly after, the hidden guards came back with a baby and handed the baby to Yun Bixue. “Young Madam, this is Little Master.”

Yun Bixue was shocked to see this. “You brought him back?”

“Yes, Young Madam!”

Yun Bixue nearly cried out of joy. Her heart ached as much as she loved her child. She hugged her baby tightly and kissed his face.

Her tears fell upon the baby’s face. As if sensing her emotions, the baby opened his eyes.

He blinked his clear and pretty eyes at her.

Yun Bixue looked at him in astonishment, feeling that the baby’s eyes resembled Xie Limo’s alluring ones.

“Where’s Limo? He hasn’t returned?”

“Young Master Xie is still chasing after Brocade Hall’s hall master.”

Yun Bixue’s expression turned solemn. “Go and help him. Just let ten or so people come and protect me. I’ll get the Yun family’s men of sacrifice to come over.”

“Yes, Madam!”

Yun Bixue was extremely fond of children. Even though she was exhausted, she still liked carrying her baby, a motherly glow seemingly appearing in her eyes.

“Little Summer, why is this baby not crying?”

“Young Madam, Little Master cried when he was born. Perhaps he’s not crying because he’s in your arms.”
