After hearing those words, Bai Yaoyao heaved a sigh of relief. After dinner, she sat in the living room and watched TV. She was distracted and kept glancing at the door, anticipating Duan Yanhao’s return.

However, he didn’t come back. Bai Yaoyao felt uncomfortable staying there, so she bade farewell to the middle-aged lady.

The lady persuaded her to stay, saying, “Miss Bai, it’s already so late! Why don’t you rest here? Young Master has explicitly instructed me to take good care of you.”

“It’s alright, I’m fine. Where am I, by the way? I’ll get someone to pick me up.”
