Chapter 108 - Guidance

A young man whom no one had met before was able to make Wang Yun, a Late Mortal Core warrior, bow his head. Perhaps only the rising star Jiang Chen would be able to do this. It was a pretty good guess.

Right at this moment, two outer circle disciple walked up from ahead. When they saw Jiang Chen, they immediately greeted him.

The two of them bowed their heads. With this, Jiang Chen’s identity had been confirmed. Those who hadn’t participated in the Qi Province competition all had their eyes wide open as they looked at Jiang Chen from head to toe.

Wang Yun waved at the disciples, then he continued leading Jiang Chen towards the inner part.

Along the way, they met quite a number of disciples who had participated in the Qi Province competition. All of them happily greeted Jiang Chen when they saw him. The disciples of the Black Sect weren’t idiots, pleasing Jiang Chen may not give them any advantages, but it surely wouldn’t bring them any disadvantages either.

Not to mention his relationship with the Little Devil King Han Yan and Guan Yi Yun, just Jiang Chen’s way of doing things alone made him deserving of all the respect.

Big Yellow said with a hint of dissatisfaction.

After following Wang Yun for a bit, they arrived at the outer circle disciples’ living quarters.

The living quarters for the outer circle disciples were located between the mountains. They were lined up in rows of fine courtyards and ancient buildings.

“Senior disciple Jiang, these are the living quarters for our outer circle disciples. They are normally in the form of courtyards, and the buildings are connected to the underground energy vein. Normally, six people will stay in one living quarter within a courtyard. Late Mortal Core disciples can own an entire courtyard for themselves, and those who break through to the Heavenly Core realm will enter the inner circle.”

Wang Yun said.

“Who is staying in the same living quarter as me?”

Jiang Chen asked with a smile.

“Senior disciple Jiang is making fun of me. Although you haven’t reached the Late Mortal Core realm yet, but with your abilities, you can defeat every single outer circle disciple here. Therefore, senior disciple Guan Yi Yun had specifically ordered us to prepare the best living quarter for senior disciple Jiang.”

Wang Yun led Jiang Chen past the area where all the living quarters were located. Behind the living quarters, a very fine courtyard was built. It was located at the top of the mountain, isolated from the living quarters’ area. It was surrounded by mountains and rivers, and there was even a waterfall nearby. The scene was very soothing, the natural Yuan energy was rich, and it was isolated from all the noise coming from the living quarters’ area. This was simply the best place for cultivation.

“Wow, this place is so beautiful!”

Yan Chen Yu was standing on the mountain top where she could view the entire Black Mountain. The feeling of having the view of all the mountains underneath her feet made her feel happy and relaxed.

There were a total of three well built rooms within the courtyard. Aside from Jiang Chen and Yan Chen Yu, even Big Yellow would be able to have a room of his own. This kind of treatment was unique amongst the outer circle disciples.

Pushing the door open, the decorations in the room were simple. Aside from a bed, there was only a golden praying mat right in the middle of the room. [1]

Wang Yun explained. This futon was specifically prepared for Jiang Chen by Guan Yi Yun. Amongst all the outer circle disciples, aside from Han Yan, only Jiang Chen had this special privilege.

Jiang Chen nodded his head. He felt very thankful to Guan Yi Yun in his mind. The residence he had arranged for him was very unique.

Jiang Chen looked at Wang Yun.
