Part 2 - Alignment of our star.

"Y-Yoko... is that you?" Faith can not believe her eyes at first but she is positive that it was Yoko.

Yoko naturally turn her back when she realize that Faith saw her but it was too late as she feel someone grabs her arm. She instantly knows that it was Faith.

Okay... keep it cool. Keep it cool, Yoko.

"Yoko wait, this is Ate Faith." She introduce herself.

Yoko turn slowly and tried pretend to be suprise to see Faith.

"Oh... A—" For some reason, she could not utter the word Ate so she just smile and said, "Y-you are here. How are you? Its been a long time."

"I'm okay. It's all good here." Faith is delighted to see the young girl again... except that young girl is now a grown woman. "I don't know. How long has it been? Three? Four years?"

"Five years." Yoko said to correct her.

"Oh! That long? Wow."

There was a pause with this awkward small talk. They both want to say something but no words were ever enough to describe or even bridge the space that they share right now.

"Are you here alone for vacation?" Faith asked after awhile.

"Yes, I'm alone but not for vacation. I'm here for internship as apprentice of the Chef."

Phi look amused.

"Oh! So you really end up with your work passion. That is good, Yoko. You did great." Faye commented.

That is just a simple comment but Yoko's heart almost fainted.

Oh my poor heart!

Is it because of the compliment?

Or the fact that Faith remembers my passion and dreams of being a Chef.

Sometime, 5 years ago...

"Loveeee... here! I'm excited to give you this." Nine said with so much excitement in his voice. "Come here. Yoko cook this dish for you. I told her that you are craving for some Thai dish." He added as he unpack the lunch bag.

"Wow! Really?" Faith is also excited and she did not expect it from Yoko as she had a feeling that little sis does not like her. "She did really have to but I'm happy, love. I thought your sis doesn't like me. She snobs me everytime I visit."

Nine shake his head and smile.

"Don't worry. My sis clearly likes you. She only cooks for people that she likes. She maybe a little bit awkward with alot of people but this one is my sign that she likes you." Nine open one of the box and smile right away.

"Oh! It smells good." Faith can't help but to savor the smell of the classic pad thai. "I bet its also delicious." She said and started to dig some and taste it.

Damn! This taste like home.

Faith smile.

"Is she planning to take culinary or something like that?"

"Yes, its her dream. She really likes to cook and she is good at it." He declared. He is clearly a proud brother to his sister.

"Oh, good. She will be a good Chef someday."

"I know. I know that she will be." Nine smile and look at Faith. "Recently she is exploring some Thai recipe so I say let us take advantage on that since I'm with a Thai foodie."

"Is that me?" Faith playfully asked as she enjoys her food.

"Yes, that is you madame." Nine replied and pull some notes and pen. "Please give me feedback for each of the menu. I need to give it to Yoko later for her to review and improve her skill some more."

"What? Are you serious?" She giggled.

"I know. But yes I am. This is what Yoko asked for as a payment for all of this." He said pointing to all of the food box filled with Thai food infront of them.

She smile and nod her head.

"Okay, I will write feedback." She said and snatch the pen in Nine's hand and wrote her feedback herself.

"Oww.. okay. Thats fine by me. I can eat in peace."

Faith just smile and continue writing. In her mind, she wants to help Yoko's aspiration so she really write her honest feedback but also compliment her on some points that she think that young Yoko's cooking excelle.
