Special Chapter - Now a Princess
Family matters - Faye x Yoko
/royal family, King and Queen + their children
/heir - 1st born of the royal family, the one that will assume the throne
/spare -2nd born, basically the back up ð **this is Yuki's family line**
While Yoko, her father Aki is the King's half brother. Aki is 5th among 7 children of the King Father. Hence, they represents the 'King's 5th house'.
Yuki regarded Aki as 'uncle' instead of grandpa because in her mother's side Aki is her uncle. Her Mom and Aki's Mom are siblings. ð Yuki is not lying when she said she saw more fucked up situation than Faye and Yoko in this story.
Anyways... here's the special chapter dedicated for Yuki. ð

Special Chapter - Now a Princess
Yuki lived a privilege life as the youngest daughter of the spare. She is not expected to hold a high power given the line of succession that is why she is lucky to experience the luxury and fun without the burden and responsibility of the throne... but an unexpected turn of events happened when the royal family and the heir's family died in a tragic death.
All of the sudden --- their family becomes the royal family and she is now a Princess.
**there is more to this but I want to focus on Yuki's love.
/years before royal family tragedy..
Yuki's favorite place is Thailand because this is where she felt more alive and free. Thailand is where she discover her true self and found the love she desperately looking for.
In her desperate and lonely life -- she met Laia.
Laia is like her home.
Yuki always find herself going to Thailand whenever there is a chaos or problem that suffocates her. Laia understand her situation and they become friends, close friend and a special friends but never declared a lover.
They shared a special bond...and they shared it on the closed doors.
"When are you leaving?" Laia asked while they are in bed naked.
"Ugh! Please don't remind me. I want to stay here for as long as I can." Yuki grunt and position her head to Laia's chest.
"I know. I don't want you to leave as well." She replied and caress Yuki's back.
Yuki smile at her.
"Do you still have energy for another round?" She asked.
"No. I'm tired. But maybe later in the airport lounge." She said with a hint of cleverness in her eyes.
"Ohh.. Okayyy. But that is so scandalous for a princess." Yuki commented as if that is the first time that they will do it in the airport lounge.
Laia giggle.
"It is but we can do it, right?"
"Of course."
They cuddled and tried to be comfortable... but they are both bothered by a thought. Before that night, there was a discussion of possible arrange marriage within their royal family. They are both scared of their future...together.
"Can we stay like this forever?" Laia asked.
Yuki sensed the sadness in her tone. The question is not easy to answer for the both of them so she tried to laugh it off.
"I can stay like this. I don't know about you but your arms will be numb." She tried to lighten the mood.
She heard Laia's laugh too.
"You always have your way to humor the situation, don't you?" She said now in a much lighter tone.
"Well that is all thanks to my family drama."
They both shared a good laugh when Laia looked at her intently. She lean on closer and kissed Yuki on the lips.
Laia rarely initiates a kiss but this time she did it. She wants to convey her feelings through that kiss. She wants Yuki to know that she love her and that she is the only one in her heart.
"Yuki, I want to be yours." She whisper in Yuki's ears the moment they break off the kiss.
Yuki froze when she heard it.
She went on full blown panic attack that she pushed Laia away.
"No, I can't." Is her initial sentiment that came out to her mouth.
"But why not?" Laia's eyes are lonely.
Yuki shake her head off.
"No, we can't. We belong to our country. You belong to Thailand. You are their heir and Princess, you know we cannot be together." She said addressing the elephant in the room.
"Can't we just ran away?" She asked, now with tears in her eyes.
"Do you want to? Can you ran away?" Yuki said but God knows how badly she wants to say yes. "You've prepared to take on the throne your whole life. You cannot just walk away." She added.
Yuki knows how Laia dedicated her life in preparation to be the next Queen of Thailand. She doesn't want to ruin it for her.
"Then... can you be my lover?" She asked this in serious tone. "If I get married soon... would you still be mine?"
Fuck! This is selfish ask...
Yuki sigh...and rose from the bed. She sat down and turn her back to the Princess. She is vulnerable and still naked.
"Yuki, please... can you stay with me even when I assume the throne. I have no one in my heart but you. I cannot let somebody own you."
Yuki close her eyes to control her emotions.
"Yuki..." The Princess called to which Yuki responded with silent sobs.
"I am yours but I cannot take you, Laia." The words she spoke slit her own heart.
Yuki is aware of the complicated situation they have. It is always in the back of her head that someday they need to move forward without each other.
"I have to go." Yuki said before she left.
Yuki thought that the Princess is only playing fire with her and she is a willing victim. She is prepared to get hurt in the end but knowing that Laia is already thinking of abandoning the throne because of her is something that she is not prepared to face.
She love Laia unconditionally. She love her that she doesn't want to take her away to her country. In her heart, Yuki knows the potential of Laia.
Laia will become a spectacular Queen someday.

Few years after,
"I need somebody to send to Thailand. Yuki, are you okay to fly to Thailand?"
Yuki look up clueless. She is not paying attention and just heard 'Thailand'.
"Are you good to go?"
"To where?"
"Thailand. This is for Laia's wedding."
She becomes speechless for a second.
"I know you had your differences but you were so close before. Maybe it's time to patch things up and I think it's the best time to show our alliance to them." The heir said.
Yuki just nods, flying to Thailand is better option for her right now because their family is pushing her to get married soon. She is young but for family of monarch, this is the right time to get married.
"Okay, I will go." She said with a smile.
**that is the wedding Faye attended in the earlier chapter**
"Yuki..." Laia called, she is in her wedding dress and she cannot believe to see Yuki again after years that they have no contact.
Yuki smiled, she saw the excitement in Laia's eyes.
"Don't be too excited. I'm not here to interrupt your wedding." She jokingly said. "I'm here to represent an attendance for our family monarch." She said formally that Laia laughed at her.
They both laughed that break off the ice.
Then, there is a few second of silence when Yuki spoke again. "You are beautiful, my Princess. I believe I can still call you that, right?"
Yuki meant it.
Laia nods and smile.
"Yes, my lady."
They both silently sigh... and silently cursing the name of their family monarch that had caused them to be in this kind of situation.
Yuki bowed down and turn her back, ready to leave and be forever quiet.
/
Laia got married that day but her heart still belongs to Yuki, she never really moved on but she continue to look forward and stick to her absolute mission in life. Laia is the Princess of Thailand, she cannot marry a woman because it will break the line of succession.
While Yuki, she felt the sense of happiness in her heart when she saw Laia walking down the aisle to altar. There is still sting of pain but she chose to let go... even if it still hurts.
Yuki soon assumed the duty of being a Princess and while doing so, she understood Laia's perspective more.
They both work separately as a Princess of their own country.
Maybe that is just how it is.
They are not meant to be together.
They are meant to fulfill an undeniably greater mission in life.

This story -- I wrote this in a time when I find it hard to imagine or believe in 'forever' with the same gender love hence the story ends with separation and no happy ending. I always make sure that the story focus will not be about love because it always end up melancholic. Sad single life era ð©
Look how far I become... I can now write and believe in happy endings and forever with same gender love! Thanks to FreenBecky, FayeYoko and other gl representation today ð
Love is love.
