After getting ready, the trio was on it's way to Red Velvet. A popular bakery owned by Julian and Caroline. To Remy's embarrassment, he didn't have much in the house to feed the girls. When he left for Miami, he didn't think for a second that he would be bringing back his soul mate. Genevieve didn't seem to mind at all, as she suggested they should go eat breakfast in town somewhere. Just then Caroline called, asking if they all wanted to have breakfast together. Deciding it was a good idea, Genevieve and the two siblings got dressed and ready to go to the bakery.

The two adults sat in the front of the car, their hands met in the middle and their fingers intertwined. Mary Jane sat behind Genevieve in her booster seat, her small fingers brushing over her short hair. It was just growing back, after almost a year of chemotherapy. MJ never really spoke about loosing all her hair, but she didn't make a big deal about it either. She simply wore her colored headbands, some with beads and others she made with Lily. Even without her long blond curls, Remy still thought she was absolutely adorable.

Remy wasn't all to happy about having breakfast with Caroline and Julian. Julian was a gentleman to his mother and a great father to Mary Jane. Remy had never had any problems with Julian, in fact Remy almost considered Julian as one of his closest friends. The problem lie between Remy and Caroline. Their relationship had never been great, although they went through so much.

Growing up Remy felt like it was his fault, Caroline had to deal with depression. He had blamed his self in some sense. He had always felt the need to grow up and become a man fast, so he could take care of Caroline, like her royal pack should have. Caroline was barely fourteen years old when she gave birth to Remy. And two years after that her pack had thrown them out, to protect the other members, when they found out Theodore was out for blood. From there on out Caroline was always on the run with the young Remy, who constantly showed new abilities, new powers. Caroline never really had the mother-son relationship with Remy. One of the reasons why he had always insisted on calling her by her first name and not mom, mommy or any of the other names given for mothers.

The trio soon pulled up in front of the modern looking bakery. Remy jogged over to the right side of the car pulling both doors open for his mate and his sister. He led Genevieve into the bakery, with his large hand on her lower back, and Mary Jane holding his other hand.

Genevieve awed at the nice decoration surrounding her. The ceiling was a dark red, as were the round tables. The walls were white, some with paintings and others with posters of the many sweet desserts. The floor was a dark cherry wood, just like the large display cabinet. In the left corner there was a small children area, four small bean bags and small round table. Pushed against the wall was a miniature bookshelf containing many children books. You could tell the bakery was definitely a family place.

Behind the counter stood Caroline with a big smile on her face as she waved over the trio. She looks a lot happier than yesterday, Genevieve thought to herself. They walked over to Caroline, just when a tall man came from the kitchen area and pulled Mary Jane over the counter, placing a small chaste kiss on her forehead.

"That's Julian, MJ's father." Remy informed Genevieve, who greeted the brunette with a friendly smile and a hand shake.

"It's nice to meet you Genevieve, that's also quite the unique name." Julian commented with a charming smile, to which both Remy and his mother rolled their eyes. Although Julian loved Caroline and no other woman, he loved to turn on his charm.

"Thank you, I think it's french or German." She replied smiling shyly, as Caroline maneuvered them over to a free table.

"Oh, so is your mom or dad European?" Caroline asked interested in the young lady, who had definitely caught her son's eye.

Remy flinched internally, he prayed that the simple question hadn't upset Genevieve in any way. But surprisingly Genevieve chuckled, "Actually my father Nick is originally from France and my other dad Spencer is from Canada.

Caroline nor Julian showed any sign of discomfort or disgust, when she mentioned having two fathers. They both nodded with genuine smiles on their faces.

Remy could sense that Caroline was still curious about the girl but decided to cut off the 21 questions for now. "I bet everybody's hungry, we should eat now."

Mary Jane agreed, rubbing her flat belly for emphasis, making the adults around her chuckle.

"What would you recommend, Remy?" Genevieve asked quietly, as she glanced at all the different breakfast meals.

"I usually get the french breakfast, which contains croissants, bacon, eggs, fruit and a cinnamon crepe on the side." He answered.

To Genevieve that sounded like a lot. She definitely wouldn't be eating that much, especially since she decided yesterday night that she needed to lose weight, become slim figured like Lily. Ugh, how she hated Lily for making her feel ugly!

"I'll just have the bowl of fruit and one croissant." She ordered for herself, when the young waitress came to take their order.

Remy hadn't thought too much of it as he placed his order, followed by Caroline, Julian and Mary Jane.

"What would you like to drink?" The red headed waitress asked.

Almost everybody ordered orange juice besides Julian and Genevieve. Juice has way too many calories! Genevieve mentally scolded herself for even thinking about getting a glass of orange juice.

Remy and Genevieve were walking across the parking lot of the nearest groceries store, when they heard a male voice calling Remy. They both turned around and saw Remy's friend Levi, a young obstetrician.

"Whats up?" Remy smiled, chuckling as his friend brought him in for a short manly hug.

"Not too much, works been busy like hell." Levi groaned, with a soft smile on his face. His green eyes, flew to Genevieve, who stood besides Remy, smiling gently at the two men.

"Levi Archer, a friend of Remy's." He introduced himself, stretching out his hand.

"Genevieve VanAcker his fr-"

"Genevieve is my mate." Remy spoke, pecking her cheek quickly.

Genevieve was surprised to say the least, as she managed to nod in confirmation, while she was wrapped in a friendly hug from Levi.

"Congratulations man, I'm so happy for you!" Levi grinned, patting Remy on the back after releasing Genevieve.

"Thank you." Remy smiled, his cheeks flushing a little, because his friend was so loud as he spoke to them in the parking lot. People were already glancing their way.

"We should all celebrate next weekend."

"We can't make next weekend, but maybe the weekend after that." Remy concluded, his smile from before gone within seconds. Next weekend was the full moon.

"Sounds good. We could celebrate down at the beach and invite a couple of people." Levi agreed.

"You better not invite too many people, just a few." Remy scowled at his close friend.

"Yeah, yeah", Levi chuckled, moving his hand in the air as if he already forgot Remy's words. "I'll invite a couple of the guys, Maci and Lily."

"Lily as in your best friend Lily?" Genevieve asked Remy, groaning in disdain under her breath.

Remy rubbed the back of his neck, followed by a short nod. "Levi and Lily are siblings."

Levi grinned at Genevieve's face expression. "I'm guessing you already met her?"

"Yes. Your sister is very ... outspoken." Genevieve finally said after searching for a word that woudn't offend Levi.

"Outspoken my ass." Levi smirked. "She's nice, unless she feels threatened than she can be a real ... if you catch my drift."

Genevieve laughed in response.

"Lily's not that bad." Remy spoke up to Lily's defence. "And she's your sister."

"Your just too nice Remy and biologically she's not my sister, thank the heavens!" Levi laughed at the end, throwing up his hands.

Before Genevieve could ask, Levi already knew the question. "Are you familiar with witches and wizards?"

"Not really. I've never met any but I've read a couple of books."

"Well we tend to live in groups and what not. Anyways we are in the same group, almost like brother and sister or should I say wizard and witches. It's like a pack of wolves, not everybody is blood related but your still family."

Who's a bitch? Lily the witch! Genevíeve thought, giving herself a high five mentally.

"Interesting." Genevieve smiled, covering up her not so nice thoughts.

Levi chuckled, before glancing at his watch. "I have to go shopping for the wife, but we should definitely celebrate soon."

"I agree." Genevieve liked Levi a whole lot more than his sister.

"I'll call Remy and let you guys know the dates. See you soon." Levi spoke, before walking across the parking lot and into the store.

The new couple laid on the king sized bed, candle light surrounding them. The day had been long and the couple was finally alone. Remy had his arm around Genevieve's waist, as she silently traced his tribal tattoo, just like she had the same morning. Genevieve already felt so comfortable with Remy, to which he was extremely happy.

He leaned down and planted a kiss on her plump lips. She reacted within seconds kissing him back with passion. Their lips moved in sync with each other. Remy pulled Genevieve up onto his lap as he sat up himself, before deepening the kiss. Genevieve felt light in his hands, as he massaged her hips, lips traveling to her neck and back up. Genevieve gripped his dark blond hair, tugging lightly and kissing him like never before.

Abruptly Remy, pushed 'his curvy mate off of him. His body was trembling in pain. He could barely focus on Genevieve's scared form, his heightened sight becoming blurry. His gums were throbbing as he tried to hold in his fangs. Dark blood began to drip from his nose and ears, falling onto the cream coloured sheets.

"Run Genevieve!" Remy could feel his bones breaking within him. Black shiny fur sprouting from his hands, sharp nails replacing his human ones.

Genevieve had never seen anything like this, as she scrambled off of the floor and out of the room, tears blurring her vision.
