Chapter 1

"Chub, where are you? The class will going to start now." Sid asked in the other line. As usual, he called me to scold again.

"Im on my way now." I replied.

"Make it fast, you only have 3 minutes left."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." I said and end the call.

I am Ramices Dawson. A junior high school student. My friends call me "Chub" sometimes because obviously I'm a chubby person but cute. I'm one of the best student in our class but I am also their favorite person to bully.

Actually, I'm not that ugly, but because of my nerd look and wide body, it affects my personality. What can I do, I need my eye glasses for my poor eye sight. And hello, food is life, you know. How can I resist delicious food?

When I entered our classroom, the teacher is already there.

"You are late Mr Dawson." the teacher said.

"I'm sorry Mrs Singh." I replied with my head down.

"Go, take your seat and write a letter of promises. I want it back and front, understand?"

"Yes Mam." I replied and the teacher continue to discuss the lesson.

After the class, Sid confronted me. "Where did you go a while ago?" in his sharp tone.

"I just had a little peek of him." I said smiling.

"What?! You went there, at college buildings?" he said in disbelief.

"Yes. I saw him with his friends in their favorite place." I said in happiness.

"Chub, you're obsessed."

"No Sid, I'm inlove." I said to correct him.

"Come on. Wake up Ramices Dawson, he's too old for you.

He will be graduating this year and you will left here alone."

"That's why I'm planning to confess to him before he graduated."

"What?! Wait, are you out of your mind? Why would you do that? He will just rejected you. He has a girlfriend, you know that."

"There's no confirmation yet about their relationship. What if that bitch just assuming."

"Chub, are you nuts? Everyone in this campus knows how they're clingy to each other."

"It doesn't matter anyway, I still confess to him. I want him to know how much I like him." I ignored.

"I can't believe this, you're digging your own grave Ramices Dawson."

"Just wait and see." I said in determination.

"Oh yeah, I can't wait to see you crying and sulking in the floor. And when this happen, I swear I pretend I don't know you." Sid said.

"I thought you're my best friend."

"I am. That why I'm telling you to stop this nonsense obsession of yours. You will just hurt yourself in the end.

"But I love him, Sid."

"No. How can you say its love when you didn't meet him yet personally. Yes of course, you know his name, his birthday, but he didn't know you, Chub. Wake up!"

"But there's nothing wrong if I confess to him right?"

"Of course, there's nothing wrong if you don't expect something in return, Chub."

"I just don't want to regret things."

"Okey, I understand. Do it if that's what you really want, but if things get worst, just move on okey."

"Umm." I nod.
