Chapter 10

10) Our place

My Hot And Sexy But Also Slightly Disturbing Story With The Mafia Man

I went back to that stupid mansion.

What do you want me to say? That dumb gorgeous lumberjack pulled me off the ground and practically dragged me on the road to the mansion.

I was lying on my bed, eating the remaining muffin crumbs out of my pocket. Gross, I know. But I was bored. And depressed. Life was so unfair. I've been giving Luca the cold shoulder the entire day and it's been driving him insane. I saw him attempting to knit with Olga to help calm him down. Serves him good for not letting me escape.

"Seriously," a voice from behind me groaned, "You're still sulking?"

I ignored him, tossing another crumb into my mouth.

"Stop ignoring me." He ordered.

You know what I did? I ignored him.

"You're being a baby-"

"All I wanted was to go back to my shitty life with my shitty apartment and shitty job and maybe eat something other than linguni or lasagna for once!" I sniffed as one single glistening yet burning hot tear dripped from my left orb.

He shoved his hands into the pockets of his black trouses and sighed. "Come on."

I wiped at the tear. "Where?"

"To a place where we can eat something other than linguni or lasagna."

Did he just- Did he say- Luca- I- kakahudklshsosjaka

-

The waitress threw some menus at us as she chewed her gum vigorously. We were at a diner nearby the mansion. It looked like something out of the movie Grease.

"I'll get a cheeseburger please." Basic, I know, but cravings.

"I'll take the same." Luca said.

"What size fries?" The elderly woman with a perm bigger than Luca's ego asked.

I nervously glanced at Luca real quick and then replied with, "Small."

Luca rolled his eyes, "She'll take a large."

Can i marry him?

As we waited for the food, the bell at the diner door rang. I looked up to see who the new customer was.

A skinny, pale boy wearing blue jeans and a white t shirt walked in. He adjusted his round glasses that sat on his nose.

"Well dunk my diçk in pancake batter!" I whispered. "What the hell is he doing here?"

"Who?" Luca questioned.

"Simon." I face palmed myself. "My boss at the cafè."

What was he even doing so far out of this city on a weekday. He should be working right now. I gotta admit though, he was looking kinda cute.

The rest of the afternoon at the diner was spent eating silently. I was enjoying my food and Luca seemed to enjoy it too. The area near his mouth was smeared with sauce.

I couldn't help but giggle at that image. He seemed so innocent, so pure.

He cast me a lifted brow. "What're you giggling at?"

I pointed to a spot near my lip. "You got a lil something here."

He attempted a pathetic wipe near his mouth with a napkin but missed. Well, guess I have to wipe it off for him.

"Let me." I insisted. Surprisingly, he didn't object when I gently and slowly swiped my thumb across his plump lip. His eyes followed my thumb as it traveled across his lip. When I reached the sauce, I pulled away.

"Thanks." He mumbled.

I held my finger out to him. He looked at it and then smirked at me. He bit down on my finger and pulled it into his warm, moist mouth. His tongue glided against the skin of my thumb as he stared me in the eye. He licked the sauce off slowly and dangerously, his eyes never leaving mine.

I drew my finger out of his mouth when he was done cleaning it up and went back to my burger.

The afternoon was peaceful and comfortable. But of course there was still some sexual tension now and then. Like when I reached for the napkins and my hand lightly grazed his coarse skin. And when there were no more glasses left so we had to share a milkshake from one glass as we peered up at each other. And when I had to sit on his lap because I had to give up my seat to a crippled woman. Crap like that.

But after the meal, I obviously had to go back to that mansion. As upsetting as it was, there was no leaving that place again.

I sat in my room, because that's all I ever do.

"Malia dear," Olga knocked on the door, "Your phone."

"Huh?"

"Your grand mama, she on phone. She wish to speaka with you."

"Oh..." I followed Olga downstairs into the kitchen where I saw my cell phone charging.

"Grandmother?" I greeted with a grin.

"Hi Mal. How are you?"

"Great... just great," I sighed.

"That's good. Just wanted to remind you that your grandpa and I are arriving tomorrow so don't forget to fetch us from the airport at six."

Oh shit. I forgot they're coming to visit tomorrow. My grandparents still live in Canada. I told them when I was done studying and started working, I'd buy them an apartment here. I missed them so much. I was always close to them. They practically raised me.

"Okay grandma. I won't forget."

"Thanks Mal. I love you."

"I love you too. Bye." I hung up and looked at Olga.

"We're in trouble," I said.

"Oi vey," she tapped her sweaty face with her apron.

-

"Pleease?" I begged him.

"I said no."

"Why are you being so difficult?"

I asked Luca if I could borrow a car to fetch my grandparents today, but him being the enormous diçk he is, he disagreed.

At this point, I was following him all around the place like a puppy. Growing up with strict grandparents, I learnt the trick to getting what you want is to follow them around and keep nagging them till the point where they can't stand you and your annoying voice anymore so they agree just so you can leave them alone. Works everytime *wink*.

"If you have to pick up your grandparents, you can do so with me."

"What's the problem?" I put my hands on my hips and looked up at him, "Don't trust me? Think I'm going to run away again?"

"Si."

"But-" I was about to object when he turned around and glared at me.

And that was that. I had no say.

We waited in the car for my grandparents to arrive. I texted them a picture of the car we were going to be in. I made Luca take something not very extravagant or else my grandparents would be suspicious. We were in a black Ford Mustang which, yes is extravagant, but is nothing compared to his Lamborghinis and Ferraris back home.

Home.

That's weird to say.

I guess I've been at the mansion so long, it became something I was used to waking up in. I just missed the feeling of waking up in my tiny apartment, going to class at the university, seeing my friends, eating takeout almost everyday instead of delicious gourmet Italian food, curtesy of Olga.

Heck, I even missed working at the Cafè.

Which reminds me, I wonder what Simon thinks of me not showing up for over a week. Am I fired? Does he think I quit? Or does he just not give a damn? Probably the last one. Then again,  I am one of his best employees. Despite the fact that I constantly harass the customers that give me anything less than a ten dollar tip. Can you blame me? A girl needs her cash.

I probably should've spoke to him at the diner. But then he'd definitely give me shit for not showing up to work. He thinks I don't take my job seriously.  Can you believe that guy?

About ten minutes later, a lady with shoulder length brown hair and fair skin that was with a man that was very much taller than her wearing glasses, short grey hair and was also quite fair started walking towards us as they pulled two suitcases behind them.

The man burst out laughing about something and the lady smacked his arm, hard. Then they started arguing about something. The closer they got, the easier it was for me to hear their conversation.

"What the bloody hell is wrong with you?" She smacked his arm again.

"What are you talking about?" He grinned.

"We are in public! Stop it!" She frowned.

"I didn't do anything!" He defended, still grinning.

"Oh please! Did something crawl up your ass and die! Bloody embarrassing!" She cursed under her breath.

"There's no smell!" He laughed even harder.

Everyone, meet my grandparents: Lily and Jack.

Hobbies include: Jack farting and Lily swearing him for it.

I rushed out of the car before my grandmother burnt a hole in my grandfather's forehead with her eyes.

"Greetings!" I walked up to them, grabbing their suitcases.

"Hello darling!" My grandmother kissed my cheek and then my granddad hugged me.

Luca got out of the driver's seat to load the bags into the car.

"And who may this be?" My grandma admired Luca, smirking. Ew.

"He's... ehh.." I tried to think of an excuse.

Luca held his hand out to shake, "I'm Luca. Malia's boyfriend."

My eyes widened in shock. My what? Is he serious right now? My grandpa's so going to kill me. And him.

I opened my mouth to protest. "The hell he is- owwwww!" Luca freakin pinched my arm. Idiot. "Yes he's my boyfriend!" I said quickly.

"Mal! I didn't know you have a boyfriend!" My grandmother teased.

"Yeah neither did I," I muttered.

"Don't you think this is something you should tell your grandparents about?" My grandpa crossed his arms, clearly unimpressed.

"It's my fault." Luca jumped in. "I wanted you to find out in person."

I could see my grandpa getting angry. Probably judging Luca and his perfect hair and his Armani suit and his expensive car. Better change the subject before it's too late.

"Um, why don't you guys hop in the backseat and we'll take you to your hotel," I suggested, getting into the passenger's seat.

"Hotel? We thought we were staying with you for two days?" My gran closed the car door after jumping in.

"Yeah in your apartment," my grandpa got in straight after.

Well that's just great. What am I suppose to do now? Luca obviously isn't going to let me go back to my apartment.

"Incorrect," Luca said, eyes fixed on the road.

"Excuse me?" My grandpa said.

Oh dear god.

"You won't be staying at her apartment. You'll stay at our place."

You've got to be kidding me. I know exactly what he was thinking.

"Our place?" I asked annoyed.

"Yes, honey." That's funny. "Our place." He repeated.

This was going to be one hell of a three days.

Y'all really didn't think we were getting through this book without a 'pretending to be all bf-gf' plot, now did we? *wink*

I deeply apologise for that cringy finger sauce licking fiasco. I had to put something in there to make y'all cringe ;)

Guys my writing is beginning to get so sloppy (I'm saying that as if it wasn't sloppy in the first place haha).

This chapter was extremely boring wow. It was just a filler chapter so...

I have an idea for a book I wanna write. It's not a parody but an actual book. It's also mafia related and I think you guys might like it. I'm only going to start it once I'm done with this book though, so don't worry I'm not going to be abandoning MHASBASDSWTMM.

Yeezus that's a lot of letters.
