Chapter 10
ROOM 938

"Did you hear about the party at Cam and Rach's dorm?" I ask Syd.
"Yeah! Cam just texted me. It's 6:42 right now so we should probably start getting ready..."
"Okay, I'll take a shower first, I'll be fast".
"Oh no, don't worry, take your time"
Despite what Syd said, I hop in the shower, clean my hair and wash my body super quickly. I didn't want her to have to take a cold shower. I feel my legs just to make sure I don't need to shave. There is a bit of stubble, but I just figure that I'll wear tights.
I grab my bath robe from the towel rack and tie it around myself.
"Showers open!" I shout to Sydney.
"Okay! Be there in a sec".
I walk towards my side of the sink, the left side,
where all my makeup and toiletries are. Foundation, concealer, powder, check. I bring my liquid liner up to my eye, but I hear the door open and my eyes automatically draw to Sydney who walks in wearing only a towel.
"Don't mind me"
"Y-Yeah okay"
She smirks as she drops her towel and walks in.
hOLY SHIT!
I shake my head and focus back to my makeup. My hand is shaking from what just happened. But, I managed to get somewhat even wings on each sides. I click the cap back on and rush outside.
Okay... outfit time.
I pick out a long-sleeve maroon top, a creme colored lace skirt, black sheer tights, and to tie it all together. a black belt with gold embellishment on it. The tights were a bit of a struggle to get on, but other than that I changed pretty quickly.
Sydney comes out fully dressed.
FUCK WHY IS SHE SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL?
I bring a hand up to my face in fear of blushing just at the sight of her.
"We're matching!" She points out.
I look down at my ensemble
"Oh yeah! We are!"
"We should totally take pictures!"
"Yeah!"
We bring out our phones and set the timer for ten seconds. We each took a photo. Hers was a basic photo of us standing side by side, but for mine, she bent down to kiss my cheek.
"THESE ARE SO CUTE!"
She exclaims.
"I KNOW RIGHT!" I followed along with her enthusiasm, when really I was dying inside. I checked the clock, 7:03. "SHIT WE TOTALLY FORGOT FOOD!"
I reminded her.
"OH FUCK YEAH WE DID!"
She grabs my hand and her car keys and we run all the way to her car.
"GOTTA BLAST!" She yells as she pulls out of the campus. We both are laughing the whole car ride to the nearest grocery store. She gets out of the car and comes to my side. Syd grabs my hand and pulls me into the store.
"WE NEED TO GET CHIPS, DIP, I FORGET THE LIST BUT ANYWAYS, ROLL OUT TEAM!" She yells in the store. We start laughing hysterically as we split up to get the food. I grab a bunch of random stuff and she does the same.
"Your balance is $36.50"
The cashier says.
Syd hands the lady her credit card.
"Thank you, have a nice day!" The cashier says as we run out of the store with four bags. Syd and I are still laughing the whole ride home. When we reach our dorm room, Syd does some weird acrobatic shit to get her key from her back pocket. She manages to get the door open and we glance at the clock.
"7:29! WE MADE IT!!!" Sydney screams. She picks me up and spins us around. After our wonderful hug in my opinion, we just kinda sit around for ten minutes before making our way to Cam and Rach's dorm, knowing Alexia and Owen are gonna be late as well. Just as I suspected, Owen and Alexia arrive at the same time as us.
"How the fuck did you guys get beer? You're 18!" I ask Alexia and Owen.
"Welllllll... we have our ways" Owen answers as he turns to smile at Alexia and he wraps an arm around her.
Syd mimics him and wraps her arm around me as we enter the party.
"WE GOT THE BOOZE!" Alexia and Owen scream.
"WE GOT THE FOOD!" Syd and I scream while laughing.
YAY WHOS EXCITED FOR THE PARTY NEXT CHAPTER??!! The party will most likely end up being in multiple parts but idk yet. -Mð
