216 Fighting over a Rehearsal Studio

“What right do you have to call yourself a Qiao?” Qiao Xin said through gritted teeth.

She needed another half hour to complete her recording for the day, but it was now Hong Ning’s turn to use the rehearsal studio.

Qiao Xin didn’t reserve it in advance, so she wanted to bully Hong Ning into giving her half an hour of their reserved time.

Who would’ve thought that Hong Ning wasn’t someone to be trifled with? She wouldn’t give Qiao Xin even a second of their time.

“When I become a celebrity, I’ll bring glory to the school. For someone like you, it’ll probably be difficult for you to even perform at the school’s anniversary celebration.” Qiao Xin looked at Qiao Yue and scolded.

“I’m not interested in performing.” Qiao Yue replied coldly. “I have no choice but to interfere when you’re bullying other students using the Qiao family name.”

Qiao Xin rolled her eyes at Qiao Yue. “Well, it figures. Coming from the countryside, you have no special talent other than being able to run fast.”

Qiao Xin walk back into the studio and close the door.

But Qiao Yue didn’t give her the chance. Instead, she grabbed the door handle and forced the door open.

Qiao Xin let go of the door handle and looked at her hand as she said, “Qiao Yue, do you have a grudge against me?”

Qiao Yue spread out her hands. “I don’t have any grudge against you. You must obey the school rules. Since the school has stipulated that the rehearsal studios must first be reserved, you can’t break the rules.”

Qiao Xin looked at her. “Who are you to command me? I was going to give up the studio. If you didn’t come and scold me, I wouldn’t have continued to occupy it.”

Hong Ning took a step forward, looked at Qiao Xin and said, “Please don’t change your tune now. Qiao Yue is helping us, don’t try to sow discord between us.”

Given Qiao Xin’s bossy attitude, how could she give up the studio? Hong Ning didn’t believe a word she said! She only said it to blame Qiao Yue and sow discord between them. Hong Ning didn’t buy it.

“How about this, apologize to me and I’ll let you have the studio.” Qiao Xin said to Qiao Yue. “Don’t tell me you don’t want to apologize? If you don’t apologize, your class won’t be able to rehearse.”

Qiao Xin smiled slyly at the two. She wasn’t afraid of them. Although Qiao Yue was the favored grandchild at home, she believed that most people would take her side because she would be a big star in future.

Qiao Xin was too na?ve. Neither Qiao Yue nor Hong Ning was easily bullied.

Qiao Yue took a step back.

Qiao Xin thought that Qiao Yue was going to apologize to her, but Qiao Yue called the school security instead.

“Hello, is this the school security, please? There are some outsiders here occupying school rehearsal studios.”

Qiao Xin quickly snatched Qiao Yue’s phone and shouted for the AT Company people to leave first.

Although the school allowed pre-approved outsiders to move about in school, they were not allowed to occupy school rehearsal studios or other facilities.

In case of any conflict, Harvey students would be given priority.

What’s more, Hong Ning and her classmates were preparing for the school’s anniversary celebration. If the school found out that Qiao Xin didn’t clean up her mess, the people from AT Company might never be able to step into Harvey again.

Qiao Xin glared at Qiao Yue with hatred. “Just you wait. Do you think that I won’t complain about you to my parents when I get home? You’ll suffer the consequences then.”

Qiao Yue shrugged indifferently. She wasn’t afraid of any complaints.

True enough, Qiao Xin was very enthusiastic during dinner. She picked up food for the old master and brought snacks for everyone.

Old Master Qiao was a little confused by Qiao Xin’s hospitality. Ever since he came home from abroad, his relationship with Qiao Xin wasn’t as good as before.

“Qiao Xin, do you have something to say to everyone today?” Old Master Qiao asked.

“The Qiao family is also in the entertainment business, and I have a studio. Why didn’t I see you signing a contract with my studio?” Qiao Ze asked.

Qiao Xin shook her head. “I also want to have my own career like you and first brother and not rely on the family. So, I contacted AT Company from D-Country.”

Qiao Jing frowned.

He knew about AT. This company had also recently signed with many artistes from C-Country, in a high profile manner.
