“My granddaughter and son came back together today. Aren’t you going to let me eat in peace?”

“What?” Qiao Yue stood up and looked at the few people around the dining table. “What are you hiding from me?”

“Let’s eat first, Qiao Yue. I’ve specially chosen your favorite dishes today.”

Old Master Yin looked at Qiao Yue and said, “I’ll explain everything after we are done eating.”

Qiao Yue couldn’t eat the meal in peace. Her heart was beating fast and her hands and feet felt cold.
