Chapter 22: Prank Stars

Its Friday... Hurray. But we have English fourth period today...uggh.

During English class. "Miss parker please stop that" miss Ngozi said. I was humming silence by marshmallow and Khalid and tapping my locker with my pen.

"Nope I don't want to" I said and she came to my table and broke my pen. How dare she. And I just looked at it shattered on the floor in disbelief.

"How dare you...its not my fault you can't afford such a fine pen" I said rudely.

"You better shut up or I'll report you" she threatened. Yh like that will shut me up.

"Report na hiaa" I said. "But don't touch me" I added and the while class started laughing and she left and I got up to chat with people.

"This woman has been vexing me since" I said to henry and Caleb as I reached their tables.

"Lol we can see dimple" caleb said.

"You want to do her strong thing abi" henry asked.

"Yes" I beamed.

"Me too...since she started teaching me ,she has been vexing me... Before you came it was me" henry said.

"Eyaa" I said understanding

"I have a plan...I'll explain during snacks break" he said.

***************Snacks Break*****

"Yes now that we are all here" Henry started.

"So here's the plan, I copied Miss Ngozi's time table and she has SS3 art next, then a free period after that" he explained and I smiled at the mention of Asher's class. Wait what?. I mentally face palmed myself.

"So what are we doing" Nay asked.

"Ah ah goodie-2-shoes wants to join" Nat teased and everyone laughed.

"Hey I have my rebel side" she smirked then smiled at henry who smiled back.

"Guilty as charged" fay grinned.

"Hey focus" henry called out. "So fay your gonna be the distraction, make sure she doesn't come anywhere near her class till the time is perfect" he said.

"Got it" fay replied.

"Nat and Nay, your going to be in charge of equipment. Get a whoopy cushion, sticky mats like 6, a plastic bucket and glitter from a box labelled pranks in the janitor's closet after this, then meet us in room 106D (JSS3 class) when your done" he instructed.

"Got it" they said.

"I'm the mastermind, co mastered by Ann" he said and I waved like the queen of England in recognition. "Caleb, Ann and I are in charge of setting up...so when everything is done we'll stand back and laugh. But if it ends badly see you in detention" he said.

RING!!!

"Go go go" he said and we scattered to our different stations

Henry, Fay, Caleb and I were walking to class 106D just as Miss Ngozi was leaving.

"Fay that's your cue" henry said and she nodded and followed her while the rest of us were waiting.

* Naomi's POV *

I was looking for the materials when Natalie screamed .

"Ahhh, oh my goodness" she said putting her hand over her heart dramatically.

"What...wetin happen" I asked worried.

"I think I saw a cockroach she said and I punched her arm.

" really nigga...be focused" I said. "I think that's the box up there" I said pointing at a big red box on top the high shelf.

"But its too far" she whined.

"Give me a lift" I said

"Why don't you give me a lift" she said.

"Because you are the tallest girl among the four of us and your obviously stronger... Now zip it and carry me" I said and she went under me and carried me sitting on her shoulders.

"Got it" and she leveled down dropping me.

"Why do you guys have a prank box anyway" Nat asked .

"Cause there's something we do called Red Night  whereby we prank people" I answered.

"Cool" she commented.

"Ok let's check this shit out" I said.

"No I wanna do it" Nat whined.

"Fine, give me the list" I said and she gave me.

"Glitter" I said and she dug in.

"Check" she answered.

" plastic bucket".

"Check"

"Whoopi cushion"

"Check"

"Transparent sticky mats"

"Check".

" good we're done now let's get back to Ann and the rest" I said and we dashed out feeling like James bond and Tom cruise.

* Favour's POV *

Remaining 20mins. God these people should be successful ooh

"Oluwa nii" I exclaimed in Yoruba. I was waiting in front of room 132 (ss3 art) when Miss Ngozi left class and I ran to her.

"Good afternoon ma" I greeted.

"Afternoon" she Replied.

"Are you not meant to be in class" I asked.

"Yeah but I want to teach a new topic and its in my other lesson note and I think I'll get extra markers too, this one is drying up" she answered suspecting me.

"I could help with that, I have nothing better to do" I said.

"I can see but thanks I rather go myself" she said and walked by. I tried holding her back.

"But you can achieve so much while I get your note and markers" I tried convincing her.

"Let me be" she said yanking  her hand off.

Shit shit shit what I'm I  gonna do I thought and an idea popped into my head. I started coughing and breaking heavy holding my chest.

"Aw aw aw...my inhaler, my inhaler" I panicked and she came running back.

"Where is it" she asked worried but I didn't know where it was so I just pretended I couldn't speak.

"Oh my god this is why asthma is not good...don't worry I'll take you to sick bay" she said. Thank you mum for taking me to acting classes.

* Henry's  POV *

Nat and Nay brought the materials and the five of us started setting everything up, with 7mins to go the plan was almost complete just to add the finishing touches.

"Hey what are you doing here" Mr Omar said and my heart skipped five beats. Me paralyzed, Ann had to speak for us.

"We just came to see Miss Ngozi for our corrections...she said we should wait for her a few minutes before the period is over" Ann lied(damn she's good).

"I don't believe you" he said still suspecting.

"Why not, as you can see we're just standing" she continued and he walked pass.

"Thank god" I said and they all laughed.

RING!!!

"Ehe she's coming, let's jump the window and hide somewhere" I said and we went to the lab beside it (English lab).

* Favour's POV *

Miss Ngozi dropped me off and the nurse gave me my inhaler and I took it

RING!!! ......and that's my cue.

"Nurse  CeCe (Cynthia) I'm better

now...bye" I said and walked out.

"Bye love" she said.

I got to the freshmen class area  and I didn't know where they were so I didn't the first thing that came to my head.

"The eagle has landed...I repeat the eagle has landed" I cooed around.

"We're over here mumu" they said and I entered the English lab.

* Miss Ngozi's POV *

"Oh thank Jesus... I'm out of those nasty kid's claws" I said entering my class.

"Now I can eat" I said happily opening my lunch and sat down...*fart sounds*

"What in tar nation" I exclaimed cause I'm positive that did not come from within me, or did it I thought and looked at my seat.

"A Whoopi cushion... Stupid kids and their pranks...try harder guys" I said as I walked to go trash it when I tripped and fell on the floor sending okro soup all over me cause I couldn't leave my delicacy and my five pieces of meat were on the floor. I tried to get up but I couldn't, I looked back with my side eye and saw that my sandals were stuck on the floor.

"Transparent sticky mats" I groaned. I tried moving to my side as hard as I could and I finally succeeded but the sticky mat followed me , now I was facing upwards, I rolled again and now it was all over me but I managed to get up.

I hopped to reach the door to get help but when I reached the door and opened it widely a mixture of water and glitter was dumped on me, making the sticky mats tighter and I just feel to the floor squirming like a fish then a group of sophomores started Laughing at me, in fact the whole block was laughing at me cause I was outside now.

* Ann's POV *

"Oh my God" I laughed heavily, this is the best thing ever. We laughed for some time then we walked over her to leave.

"Won't you help me" she cried.

"Nope" I said plainly.

" why" she cried.

" cause I don't associate with people that break my pens" I deadpanned and walked out. Mic dropped.

During field night we were still gisting about our epic prank when Mrs king came to meet us cause apparently although she has a small house in the school she only stays sometimes and I guess tonight is one of those times.

"Miss Parker, Brooks, Tinder, Thompson, Mr O'Neill and Oaks " she said .

"Yes " we all answered in fear...then she looked at us a while longer then broke a smile.

"What's up" she beamed and we let out a sigh of relief.

"We're good" we replied

"How was your day" she asked

"You know classes ,prep, nothing special" Fay and I said.

"Not even a prank" she asked smirking. She totally knew.

"How...how did you find out" we asked.

"The school's tuition is in millions and you think we don't have cameras" she said and I'm sure we all mentally face palmed ourselves.

"So are we in trouble" Nat asked cause  I know she likes adventure but not the consequences.

"Nah...its cool ,I don't like the woman sef...she's a sabi sabi jollof beans" Mrs king joked and we all laughed and gisted till the end of the night.

BTW Henry is Mr O'Neill and Caleb is Mr oak's

A sabi sabi or over sabi is a person the does too much.

Mrs Ngozi is so annoying and acts sassy ,its annoying.
