Chapter 23

Return

ICE (GirlxGirl)

It took about three days to get everthing settled and for Amelia to inform her queen that she would be leaving for an extended period.

In that time the truce between the humans and the supernaturals got worse. Humans now wanted all supernaturals to register and be branded with a mark to let all know that they wern't human.

Anyone found as supernatural who had a job working anywhere near humans were immediately fired, supernatural children were thrown out of school and many of them lost their homes, The government developed centers for the supernaturals to stay at but they refused. Those centers were just concentration camps where supernaturals could be abused and experiemented on.

The fae had recalled all of their people to faerie, The dragons and the wolves moved to the mountains, The demons and angels also returned to their realms and the witches layed low.

Everyone knew that war was inevitable, they were just waiting to see what was going to trigger it.

As much as I didn't want to leave when everything was so tense, I knew that I had to stop this coming war on Enclion or the Earth wouldn't stand a chance.

But there was no way that I was going to let them destroy my home or my business while I gone. So I hid both from human and supernatual sight, anyone looking for them would never be able to find them, then I strenghtened both wards around the buildings so they could resist anything thrown at them.

"Are you ready to go?" Amelia asked coming into the room with a large suitcase wheeling in behind her.

I didn't know how long we would be gone so I told her to pack heavy. She was currently dressed in blue skinny jeans and a nice warm pale sweater. Earlier I had asked Gwendolyn what the weather would be like on the planet and she said it would be in it's winter cycle, so I had told Amelia to dress warm.

"You look gorgeous." I told her as I walked closer to her. She blushed and I smirked.

I gave her a light kiss then walked back over to the bed and picked up the warm hat and scarf I had bought for her. I placed the hat on her head and wrapped the scarf around her neck.

"It isn't like earth babe, the cold can kill you in seconds." I tell her then hand her the gloves I got for her.

She pulled them on her hands and I grabbed my suitcase off the bed and hers and led us to the living room where Jacob and Gwendolyn were waiting.

"Make sure to take care of the house Jacob." I tell him.

"Got it Ice, you just kick some ass and get back here." He said with a big smile on his face.

I gave him a salute in return.

"Are we ready then?" Gwendolyn asked.

"One minute." I tell her and hold up on finger, I turn to Amelia and pull her close.

"What's wrong?" She asked looking worried.

"Nothing, I just want to give you something."

And with that I start saying a chant under my breath, but I know that Gwendolyn can hear it from the sharp intake of breath behind me.

After I'm done, I pull away from her and smile.

"What did you do?" Amelia asked.

"I just made it so you would be able to adapt to Enclion and I kinda, sorta marked you as mine." I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for the shouting.

None came and peeked one eye open to see her smiling at me. I also smiled now, happy that she wasn't angry.

"What does it mean that you marked me as yours?" She asked.

"It means that she is letting everyone know that you are taken and not to be touched, she will also be able to find you anywhere and the mark shows her power." Gwendolyn told her.

She then turned and looked at me with an astonished face.

"I did not know that you were so powerful Dealia, from the power pouring off that mark I would say you were at least three hundred times more powerful than the king.

I just shrugged my shoulders and looked away from her. Truth is I had only put three percent of my true power into the mark, no one needed to know how strong I truly was.

Before we left I had a few more things to tell Amelia about Enclion.

I turned back to her.

"Okay babe, first things first. Do not bow to anyone, I mean anyone okay?" She nodded.

"Bowing to someone shows them that they have power over you and they don't. Second, you don't have to listen to anything anyone says or do what thay tell you, you are not their slave and that place all about dominance. Finally, If anyone gives you any shit call me and I'll kick their ass or you could do it yourself, you'll see see that carrying my mark gives you a few extra perks." I tell her with a wink and she giggles.

" Okay we're ready." I say to Gwendolyn and pull Amelia closer to me.

Gwendolyn nods her head and summons the portal and quickly steps through.

I grab our bags with one hand and Amelia with the other and step towards the portal.

"Just hold onto me, It can be a little bumpy." I tell her and her grip on my hand tightens.

"Later Jacob." I shout and pull us through the portal.

The portal is full of swirling energy, It can make you dizzy if you stare at it to long. People have been know to drift off the path and have been left adrift for eternity so I clucth Amelia's hand tighter and pulled her quickly to the exit before we became wonderers ourselves.

We exited into a white wonderland, snow was everywhere, frozen lakes frosted trees, mountains covered in snow, everything is white as far as the eye can see.

Amelia sucked in a deep breath.

"Welcome to Enclion." I whispered to her.

"It's beautiful." She said in awe.

I didn't answer her, I also thought this place was extremely beautiful, it's just the atrocious things that went on here that made it ugly.

I looked around and tried to get my bearings, even though I hadn't been here since I was a little girl I had a perfect memory and sense of direction.

Gwendolyn had already gone off ahead, not even bothering to wait on us.

Typical.

I could tell that we were on Front clan territory, so I began to scan for the members of the clan and discovered we weren't to far from the house.

"Are you ready?" I asked looking down at Amelia.

"Yeah." She said, so I began walking us in the direction off the house.

"When we've settled in I promise to show you around the planet." I tell her and notice we are almost at our destination.

Her face lit up like christamas morning.

"I would really enjoy that." She said the gasped as she spotted the house.

The frost clan 'house' actually looked more like a eighty building, completly covered in Arelian steel.(the strongest metal on the planet).

Glass windows dotted the lower levels of the building. Walkways connected the main bulding to smaller ones that surrounded it. Each with a rounded roof and covered in Arelian steel.

The property wasn't surrounded with a fence or any type of outside security, because no one would be foolish enough to attack the ruling clan.

Still the closer we got the more looks we attracted.

As soon as we stepped up to the automated doors to enter we were surronded by guards with weapons ppinted at us. And all of them were shouting.

"Who are you?!"

"Get down on the ground?!"

"Drop your weapons?!" (Did you really think I would go anywhere unarmed?)

I sighed and looked at Amelia, She had a wicked smirk on her face and shrugged her shoulders innocently.

One of the guards moved forward to grab her and I saw red. I moved on front of her and caught his hand and pulled him closer to me so I could wrap my free hand around his throat and lift him off the ground. He struggled in my grip and I squeezed tighter.

No one else moved as they watched the scence unfold.

I pulled the guard closer until we were eye to eye and spoke in a sinister voice.

"Who told you could touch her?" I asked him but he continued to struggle defiantly.

"I know that you can see my mark upon her, tell me why I shouldn't destroy you for daring to touch what is mine?" Now the fear was begining to leak into his eyes.

"What is your clan?" I asked him. I released his throat a little so he could speak.

"D-draco." He gasped out.

I had never heard of that clan, it must have been one of the new ones and not very powerful if they were stuck as guards for the Frost clan.

I nodded my head at him then drew back and punched him in the stomach. I realesed him and he dropped to the ground struggling to breathe.

Everyone looked at me in fear and took a step back.

I turned around and picked up our bags and then took Amelia's hand and continued to the front door.

It opened automatically as we approached and Amelia giggled.

I looked down at her in confusion trying to figure out the joke.

She finally took pity on me and answered my silent question.

"We just got here and your already kicking ass, if this is any indication of things to come, this is going to be an interesting visit." She continued to giggle.

If only she knew how much ass I was going to kick.
