Joy Ride

We drove for another three hours until we came to an area that was surrounded by a high wall.

When we got to the entrance I saw that it was more like a prison, a two story building that had guards with weapons patrolling the inner and outer gates, they were eyeing us as we pulled to a stop.

"There are no visitors allowed, turn around and go back the way you came." One guard in a bored tone.

"I'll be in and out in a few minutes. I just need to make a quick visit with someone." I tell him with a smile on my face.

"Didn't you hear me, no visitors." He said again with a little anger seeping into his voice.

The other guards had all stopped to watch us and two were making their way over to us.

"Trouble Luca?" One of the approaching guards asked the one who was speaking first while watching us.

I flashed a bigger smile and his eyes narrowed.

"Not really, just someone whose hard of hearing." He said motioning to me.

"Hey, I can hear perferctly but as I was telling Luca here I just need to make a quick trip inside and then we'll be gone." I say offended.

"Are you deaf lady! No visitors!" The new guy shouted at me.

"But..." I started but was cut off.

"No!" One shouted.

"I just...." I was cut off again.

"Leave!" He said walking up to the hover car.

"I only need........" Cut off again.

"Can't you understand lady, get the fuck out of here you're not getting in!" He shouted down at me.

I turned away from them calmly and faced the front of the car with both hands clenching the wheel.

"Babe?" Amelia called me hesitantly.

"Put on your seat belt." I tell her and she scrambled to strap herself in.

I took the car out of autopilot and put in reverse backing away from the gate while the guards laughed at our retreating car.

When we a good distance away I brought the car to a stop and looked over at Amelia with a big smile on my face. She pulled on her strap to make sure it was secure. I looked forward again and could make out the guards still laughing forms and my smile got even wider.

"Oh Gaia." I heard Amelia mutter under her breath and I slammed my foot down on the gas.

We shot forward like a bullet and since these were not earth vehicles we were able to reach over 250mph in no time and we continued to accelerate  the closer we got to the gate.

By now the three at the gate had noticed us but it was too late, I aimed straight for the one who had shouted at me, the last thing his suprised face saw was my sadistic grin before he went end over end over the car. The other two were smart enough to dive out the way but I was able to clip one on his foot. I left his screams of pain behind and I smashed the car through the outer and inner gates.

Alarms were now going off all over the place and guards poured out of everywhere, but that didn't stop me as I plowed through everyone who thought to get in my way.

Hey I was nice enough to beep the horn. Is it my fault that they don't move? I would think not.

Shots we're fired at us but the armor around the car protected us. I drove straight up the front steps and aimed for the doors splitting them open.

"This is like some super car!" I stouted to Amelia as we drove through the front and knocked down a few more people.

She didn't say anything just held the (oh shit) bar above her head tighter.

We came to a narrow hallway just barely large enough for us to fit through. I let out a loud laugh and Amelia screamed as I squeezed us through and sped down it sparks igniting on both sides of the car as we scrapped the sides. People jumped out of the way quickly into side corridors when they saw us coming.

I began to slow down when I saw the end of the hall coming up and a shaking woman standing in front of the lift doors. The car gradually slowed and we stopped a few inches from the woman who was shaking so bad that she had dropped everything in her hands on the floor and had fallen backwards.

I could barely lean my head out the window to shout at her.

"Can you scan the lift doors open for me please?!" I shouted at her.

She jerkingly nodded and stood to her shaking feet and scanned the door for us.

I drove the car inside; The woman going in before us unless she wanted to get run down. The lift was actually wider than the corrider was so I was able to lean out this time.

"Bottom floor please." I told her and she pushed the button then scrambled over the car and out the lift before the doors closed.

"Thanks!" I shouted at her back as the doors closed.

"Isn't this fun?" I asked Amelia who still had a death grip on the bar over her head. She gave me a faint grin then turned back to the front.

"I feel like I'm in Need for Speed or something." I said excitedly.

The 'ding' of the lift let me now we we're on our floor. When the doors opened I expected to see an army waiting for us, but the corridor was suprisingly empty and I backed the car out and drove backwards until I came to an area where I was able to turn around.

I followed the energy signal that I had been tracking since we had pulled up to the gates. After a series of turns we pulled up in front a dark cell. This is the one I had been looking for.

"Be right back." I tell Amelia as I unbuckle myself and start to get out.

"Be careful." She says looking around worriedly.

"Aren't I always?" I ask bending back down to look at her. She raises one eyebrow and I sigh.

"I'll be careful." I mutter and close the door.

Walking over to the cell I try to see what is inside but it is too dark but I can see a shape slumped down in the corner.

I walk over to the door and am about to pull it open when I feel something tugging on my pant leg. I look down and see a Orthus, which is basically a two headed dog.

"Bad dog, bad dog!" I shout as it continues to pull at my leg while growling fiercely.

"Shoo, shoo, go away." I say trying to shake it off but it holds on tight. I reach down and grip it by it's scruff and yank it off tearing my jeans in the process.

A string of profanities leave my mouth as I look down at my now ripped pair of jeans. Meanwhile Cujo has been trying to rip off my face the whole time.

I chuck it down the corridor away form me and it lands with a yelp but immediately jumps back to it's feet and charges at me.

I brace myself for the attack and am about to kick the shit out of the dog when a low whistle sounds. The dog skids to a stop and trots over to the cell in front of me, tail wagging with tongues hanging out and everything.

A pale skelatal hand stretches through the bars and the dog slobbers the hand in drool and I scrunch my face up in disgust. Alarms are still going off all over the prison.

"Time to go." I mutter to myself.

Turning back the cell door, I grip it with both hands and pull it out, ripping it apart like it was paper then set it down on the side. I walk inside and approach the cloaked figure hunched over on the floor still playing with the dog.

I reach down and scoop them up like they weigh nothing and the dog starts to growl again.

"Shut it Cujo!" I snap and the dog whimpers and backs away finally admitting whose the alpha here.

I walk over to the car and open the back door and place them down on the seat and buckle them in then climb into the front.

"Miss me?" I ask Amelia and lean over to give her a light kiss.

"Always. Whose this?" She asks turning to face the back seat and our passenger who has yet to say a word.

"That's........" I start but stop as all the alarms suddenly stop.

"Later. Right now it's time to go." I tell her starting the car and heading back to the lift. I reverse into the lift and get out to press our floor.

"You know they've set a trap for you outside." A voice says from the back seat.

"I know." I say and shoot forward as soon as the doors open on our floor. The sides of the car scrapped against the walls again but this time absolutely no one was in my way. We flew out the front door and was airborne for a few seconds before we lowered enough to hovet over the ground and move forward.

In front of us was the army I had been looking for when we had been to the basement. Men in armour and weapons blocked our exit and began to open fire on us, one even shot a rocket our way. This is a badass car but I'm not sure it could hold up to a rocket.

"Watch this." I tell Amelia and our guest.

As we appoach the waiting firing line I turn the car invisible and quickly turn the wheel to the left and speed towards the wall. I could sense the confusion coming off the guards but it shouldn't take them too long before they see the dust kicked up but the propellers under the car so we've got to do this fast.

Right when we're about to run into the wall I jerk the wheel to the right and speed through the little gap that they had left in their line, coming within inches of hitting people on either side. They were just blown back by the speed we went past them at.

I turned the wheel and went for the broken front gate and we shot through speeding down the road. The alarms had started up again and could be heard even from this far away. I removed the invisibility from the car and put it back on autopilot and gave it a pat on the dash board for being such a badass girl.

Leaning back in my seat I streatched my arms out and yawned.

"Well that was fun." I say to no one in particular.

Amelia fianlly released her her grip from the bar and turned to face me.

"What?" I ask her. She just looks at me and shakes her head and faces the person in the back and gasps.

The cloth had fallen off of their head to reveal long black hair and pale blue eyes.

"You sure have changed Dealia." She said to me.

"I could say the same thing about you Lina." I say and turn to look at a person who could be my twin.

"Why did you break me out?" She asked looking at me.

"Well Enclion will need a new ruler as soon as I kill that idiot king and I sure as hell don't want the job, so I thought to myself, who better than that idiots own daughter who he had imprisioned." I say smiling evily at her.

She returns my smile with one of own.

"Yes, I agree. Let's pay daddy dearest a visit." She says then promptly passes out.

I turn back to Amelia who looks like she has a ton of questions but I choose to answer the most important one.

"Meet my lovely twin cousin Lina, daughter of the soon to be decesed king Samuel Frost and future queen of Enclion."
