Trackers

I swerved my bike through traffic as I enjoyed my time alone and tried to clear my mind of all negatives.

I had a good idea of what the council wanted to talk to me about and I wondered who they had found to replace Casper.

I cut through an alley and heard tires screech behind me, slowing down a little I looked back and say a black SUV at the end of the alley. More screeching tires up ahead of me made me look forward and I saw another SUV blocking the exit.

I cursed myself for being so careless and then I cursed Casper, even dead that idiot is still causing me problems.

Braking quickly I leaned my bike to the side and placed one foot on the ground and waited with my head down.

I heard doors opening and closing from both ends and then the sounds of approaching foot steps but I still didn't raise my head.

Searching the area I found three teams of four moving in this direction on the roofs. I smirked as I learned their plans.

They're in for a suprise.

The approaching people stopped a good distance away from me and but one moved closer.

"Dealia Frost." A familiar voice called out but I said nothing and kept my head down.

"Why don't you just kill these annoying humans?" Dare asked me with a snarl.

"I don't know what you think I do but I don't just go around killing everyone who annoys me." I tell her in my head.

"Shame." She said and settled down to watch.

"Ms. Frost." The voice says again and I raised my head to look at him.

"Sorry you've got the wrong person." I tell him and have to stiffle a laugh at the thought of the last time we did this.

It didn't seem to faze him as he continued.

"Would you be so kind as to accompany us to our headquarters, we have a few questions to ask you." He said in a neutral tone as the others began inching closer towards me and the teams on the roofs got into position.

"I'm a very busy woman can we please reschedule?" I ask innocently.

He's silent for a few as if he wasn't expecting that. He opens his moth again but I raise one hand to stop him.

"Look Smith, I'm tired and frustrated and I don't have the time nor the patience for this, tell your people I'll drop by for a visit later, now I must be off." I say and rev my bike.

His mouth had dropped open during my speech and the people around seemed unsure of what to do. He shook his head and pressed a hidden button on his collar and the team on the roof dropped the net, but I was already moving forward and the end of the net slid off the back of my bike.

People began shouting and pulling out guns and pointed them at me,shouting at me to stop and freeze.

I moved toward the SUV blocking the end of the alley as they began firing at me. It seemed as if I was about to crash into the parked car and the agents in front of me started diving out of my way.

When the front wheel was about to touch the SUV door I whipped the wheel to the left and the back wheel skidded sideways and the side hit the SUV along with my leg. If I wasn't me I'm sure I would have shattered my leg but since I'm so awsome my leg just hurts like a bitch right now.

The bike shot forward between the gap the SUV left from the wall and I manuvered myself back onto the street and chuckled the sounds of cursing and slamming car doors behind me.

I shot off down another corner and continued cutting through side streets and alleys until I knew for sure that I had lost my tail.

" That chase was kind of interesting." Dare said trying to sound as if she didn't have as much fun as me. I just rolled my eyes and kept on riding to my destination.

I pulled up to the gate of the council building and the guards immediately let me in. I parked my bike and walked inside and was greeted by none other than colonel Sanders and his clip board.

"Ms. Frost, I'm thankful that you are able to join us again today." he said as I walked past him with one eyebrow raised.

We got to the end of the hall and there sat kujo, looking like an obedient puppy.

When I got closer to him he whimpered and shuffled to the side. I looked at him and he lowered his eyes.

I turned back and pushed the council doors open and walked in not bothering to knock.

When have I ever knocked?

I walked up to their table and sat down in the seat that had already been set out for me and crossed my legs.

"Let's get this over with, I've got places to be." I tell them in a bored tone and look at each of them and notice a few new faces.

"Do you all really put up with such disrespect?" A voice at the end of the table asked.

All heads turned to him quickly then back to me. I took my time and turned my head slowly to him.

I sniffed and smelled wolf. Ah, the werewolves finally sent a represenative. I felt out his power and found found him to be a powerful alpha.

I turned my body until I faced him and looked him directly into his eyes. He growled at my challenge and fought to hold my stare but in the end was forced to lower his gaze.

"Hold your tongue puppy or you just might loose it." I warn and face the front again and with one hand hand motion for them to begin.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw the new wolf leader tense in his seat just before he sprang at me and all hell broke loose.
