Gone

Dealia's POV

As soon as Dare had fallen asleep I switched us back.

Man was she annoying, always thinking she was the shit. A badass. That was really annoying, she could at least try to be humble sometimes.

Being so full of yourself all the time is not attractive, she should be more like me.

Pulling Amelia closer I snuggled into her and closed my eyes and went to sleep

When I woke up the next morning Amelia's side of the bed was empty. Yawning, I got up and walked straight into the shower.

Finished with my morning routine  I walked out to find even the common room empty. Figuring the they must have already left for class I went to the classroom to also find it empty.

"Where the hell is everybody?" I asked and got no response, not even from Dare.

Searching the auditorium, gym, mall area, nearly everywhere I still found no one. I tried to feel out Amelia but it was as if she wasn't even there and my connection with Dare was also gone.

"This is really weird." I said to no one as there was no one else around.

"I swear if someone jumps out trying to scare me I'm going to kick ass first and ask questions never." I growled but got no response. This was annoying.

"This is like some 28days later shit." I said and walked towards the forest. How the hell is the entire building empty? I swear if a zombie popped out right now I would piss my pants.

There was no one in the clearing and I was starting to get pissed at not at being able to find Amelia. How did she just disappear? And Dare? Jacob and even that annoying computer was nowhere to be found.

Walking back inside I went to the front of the building and out the door. Walking down the Fae roads even they were empty.

This was really starting to freak me out and nothing really scares me except..........never mind.

The Capital city Adrils was empty and looked like a ghost town. I was looking around expecting a tumbleweed to roll pass me any second. I knocked on doors and peeked in windows.

Nothing.

I spot a bike on the side of the road and hop on. Hey even the Fairies can have bikes.

Pedaling down the road I look out for any sign of people. I wasn't too worried about anyone else but Amelia. I was worried about what it was that was able to block not only her but also Dare from me.

i had a theory but nothing too concrete. I was almost to the center of the city when I finally saw something. I saw something because it was in no way from from around here. The next surprising thing I found out was that I was being hunted.

Me. Ice, the bloody ninja was being hunted.

To be honest I was suprised and impressed that it had managed to conceal itself from me for so long. Out of the corner of my eye I watched as it's four eyes tracked me.

Yes four.

One set of eyes in the normal eye position and another pair closer to it's hairline.

Pretending I hadn't discovered it, I kept pedaling as it stalked me from building to building and the closer I got to the center of town the closer it got to me. I finally stopped my borrowed bike and got off, leaning it against a wall and the thing took that as it's cue to attack.

I was shocked again by it's speed as it sped around the building and launched itself at me. It was really tall and I had to drop down to avoid the knife coming at my throat.

It swiped at the air where I once been and it's speed took it forward and it tripped over me and things seemed to slow down as I looked up as it sailed over me and punched up towards it's chest.

When I pulled my hand back and the thing made it over me, my hand was covered in blue goo.

"Ah gross." I shivered and tried to wipe the grossness off of my hands as the thing rolled around on the ground obviously in pain but this stuff was sticky and nasty.

"Dude this shit is nasty, what is it?" I asked giving up on trying to wipe the goo on the ground and walked over to the guy? thing? it? I don't know.

He was still rolling around on the ground holding his hand over the hand sized hole I had made in his chest when I kicked him over onto his back.

"Dude, dutette. Stop acting like a bitch. Man or woman up." I said and wiped my hand on it's clothes before I jumped up triumphantly.

"I got it! I'll call you it!" I said just as the it's four eyes closed and it died.

"Well ain't that a bitch. I went through all that trouble to give you a name and you just go ahead and die." I grumble shaking my head as I continued on my journey now on foot.

I continued on in the direction I had been going in before and wasn't long long before I reached the middle of the city.

There sitting on the floor with their hands and legs bound and weapons pointed at their heads were the people I was looking for, everyone was currently busy looking at a man? Woman? I really couldn't tell as it spoke.

Well me being me and all my awesomeness decided to interrupt it but making my presence known and stepped into the open.
