You rolled your eyes and turned around, grabbing the map off the floor and grabbed the zipped up bag. You then forcefully pushed the bag into his chest. "Just try to keep up." You said as you walked out the door.

Hope probably will never know what you went through in Malivore but it's changed your tone towards people a little bit, maybe because you were stuck with that douchebag Clark. All she could let you do was get used to people again.

Landon looked at Hope before following you out the room, Hope close behind.

You looked at where your blood and Hopes blood made a circle around and area in the woods, indicating that Rafael was there. "Yeah, Raf should be up ahead." You softly said to Landon and Hope as you all walked through the woods.

Landon walked up besides you. "Cool." He responded.

You didn't take your eyes off the map. "Meaning not cool?" You replied.

Landon looked down, now slowing down. "Sorry. It's just-" Landon stopped talking. "nothing." He said.

You turned around, lowering the map and coming to a stop. Hope and Landon in front of you. "Meaning something." You looked between the two.

Landon let out a small sigh. "It's stupid, but when Raf was first stuck as a wolf, he used to always hang out with me, but then he, like, he stopped. Like, he forgot or he moved on." You and Hope locked eyes, knowing where he was going.

A small smile appeared on your face. "And you're worried that it's gonna be the same when he's human again?" You questioned. Hope moved to stand next to you.

Landon looked up at you and Hope. "Told you guys it was stupid." Landon said, thinking you both took it the wrong way.

Your heart softened. "We don't think it's stupid." You started. "It's painful to lose someone that you love." Hope agreed with you.

"Yeah." He softly replied. "Oh, I know all about that. I grew up in the foster system." You put your head down, remembering he doesn't remember you also grew up in foster system. "Getting bounced around from family to family made me want to shut everybody out until I realized life's a lot harder without someone watching your back." He explained, although you already knew the feeling.

You raised your eyebrows. "Trust me, Landon, you don't have to worry about anyone forgetting you." You stated, that sentence was hard to say as everyone forgot about you besides Hope.

He looked at you confused. "How do you know my name?" He questioned.

You looked surprised as you didn't know how to answer that, luckily Hope cut in. "I said it before, in your room, remember?" Hope quickly said.

Landon nodded, remembering the encounter. In the distance a voice was heard yelling. "Help! Help!" Once that was yelled, Landon started bolting towards who was screaming. "Somebody, help!" He just kept running, you and Hope following him.

"Landon, wait, stay back. You don't know what's out there!" Hope yelled at him. You and Hope came to a stop next to him as you looked up at the Shunka.

Landon didn't take his eyes off of it. "I have an educated guess." He stated.

You pushed him backwards. "She said stay back. Incendia." You chanted, raising your hand and setting the Shunka on fire, the creature wailing in pain.

Landon stared at Hope as she went to your side. "Is there a plan 'B'? Please tell me there's a plan 'B'." Landon said in a rush.

You looked over at Hope. "Werewolf form?" You whispered to her and she nodded. "Turn around." You bluntly said as you and Hope looked back at the creature.

Landon looked confused. "Why?" He asked.

Hope looked back at him. "Because plan 'B' involves us getting naked." Hope responded, waving her in for him to turn around.

That kind of sounded sketchy. "What?" He questioned, surprised to hear that but confused why you had to, knowing Hope was a werewolf already. He turned around to look away from you and Hope.

You and Hope turned so both of your backs were facing each other. "We have to draw it away from you." You stated as he was definitely confused. You took off you jersey and threw it on the floor.

"Why does that require your nudity? I mean, I know Hopes a werewolf but why you?" He questioned you, a little scared.

Sometimes you question how dumb Landon is. "Because this monster feeds on werewolves." You stated, taking off your sports bra and throwing it on top of your jersey.

Landon didn't respond for a few seconds. "But you're a witch." He replied. He obviously put two-and-two together as he became quiet. "A lying witch." What you didn't see was him looking down at you clothes and Hopes. "A lying, very naked witch." He stated.

You and Hope still didn't face the monster yet. "Look, I'm more than that, and I wish I could stay and tell you all about it, but I can't." You stated. "So when we draw this thing away from you, I need you to go find Dr. Saltzman and Raf." You ordered.

Both of you then transitioned into your werewolf form. "Why would it chase after you-" Landon cut himself off as he looked down at you and Hope growling at the monster. "Because you're a were-witch like Hope just without the vampire side. Holy smokes." Landon stated.

The Shunka growled at you and Hope but you both only growled back. You both started running away from the monster, assuming ti was following you both.

You transitioned back to being a human as you realised the Shunka never followed. Grabbing a long jacket and a pair of shorts, you slipped them on and searched for Hope. Once you did you saw her and put your hand over your eyes. You two may be dating but you value privacy.

You tapped her with your leg on ere leg, waking her up. "Here." You threw a jacket at her as you really couldn't see where she was.

Hearing rustling you assumed she was putting it on. "Thanks." She groaned as she stood up and put the jacket on.

You took your hand off your eyes. "Come on, we need to find Landon." You worriedly said. As you both walked around, you were looking for Landon. "Landon! Landon!" You called out his name, hoping for a response back. You let out a heavy sigh. "Landon!" You called once more but nothing.

You looked around the woods. "Look, I'm sorry, I would have never left you. I didn't know that it wanted you." You pleaded, just wanting to make sure he was okay.

Hope grabbed onto your arm and stopped you from walking. That's when you heard growling. "Raf." Hope said, relieved he was okay.

You looked at Rafaels' wolf form as he just started at you two. "Hey, look, I-I know you don't remember me, but it's my fault Landon's mossing. Okay?" Tears threatened to fall. "I would have never let anything like this happen to you or Landon." You watched as Rafael started turning around to walk away.

Hope walked in front of you. "Wait, Raf, wait. Please. Don't-Don't go. Okay? I-I can help you." Hope pleaded, you both watched as he turned around. "We need you." Rafael whined. "I'm sorry I didn't come find you sooner but Landon needs you." Hope stated, she knew you wanted to protect Landon and help Rafael.

While Hope was turning Rafael back you transitioned into your wolf form and sniffed for Landons scent. Once you got it you howled and ran towards the monster and Landon. You ran towards the monster, attacking it. "Kate, no!" He yelled at you as he hurried to stand.

The monster threw you off of him and picked you up by the neck until someone shot at it, causing it to drop you. "Raf." Landon said.

"Lan, it's not done!" Rafael shouted. You transitioned back into a human, walking a bit away as you watched Landon take the arrow out and hit the monster again in the mouth this time.

Rafael walked forward and Landon turned around, both of them hugging. You were happy they were happy, even if you weren't there to hug him.

You walked off, grabbing your jacket and putting it over you. "Kate?" Hope said, running towards you and bringing you in for a hug. "Don't even do that again. You hear me? You could've died!" Hope looked between you eyes.

You cupped her face. "I'm okay. And it'd take more than a Malivore monster to kill me." You joked.

Hope rolled her eyes and pulled you in for a kiss. You both pulled away. "I have waited three months to do that." Hope stated, smiling.

You both walked hand in hand away from the two having their reunion. The last thing you heard from Rafael with your werewolf hearing was something that made your heart burn. "Who was that girl?" He questioned Landon.

Hope had gone to her room, knowing you wouldn't let her come with you to the hospital for Ethan. You pulled out your journal and started writing. "The thing about being alone is that it can never last." You paused, thinking of what to write. "At some point, we all need to reach out and find comfort. At first, to what we know: the people, the places, how everything used to be."

You looked up at the hospital before back down to the journal. "But things change. And no matter what you do, it's never gonna be the same. So the question becomes, where do you go? What do you do?" You wrote into your journal.

"Kate?" The voice of Maya tore you away from your writing.

Maya sounded like she was crying. "Hey." You softly said, placing your journal down.

She walked forward a bit more. "What are you doing here?" She questioned.

You got up and faced her. "I just, I wanted to see how you and Ethan were doing after the game." You softly replied.

More tears fell from Mayas eyes. "He worked so hard for that scholarship. And now it's over." She cried out.

You melted when she said that and pulled her in for a hug. "Hey." You whispered, sad for Maya and Ethan.

"Maybe it doesn't matter as long as you go somewhere." Was the last thing you wrote in your journal.
