Royalty Stammering Beauty

"I can't help it. For the first time in my life, I feel completely unmoored, this is the first time I am not getting conscious of what's right and what's wrong," he said, being hyper and tense, which is very unexpected behavior from him.

He moved closer, unable to resist the gravitational pull that drew him toward her. "You see, I've always been in control, always calm, but now I'm losing myself," he said, coming forward to her reaching her level. Convincing like a mad person, his voice tinged with desperation.

She started getting scared. "What did I do? Why are you saying all those things to me? Please, I'm scared." she said, crying and begging.

"You still not getting a clue," he said.

she shakes her head in 'NO' looking down.

"YOU fucked up with life; I can't stop thinking about you from the day I first met you. In the horse stable?" he said.

"Horse stable?" she asked in fear.

"Yes, the time You came forward and our eyes met for a millisecond. I feel something inside me changing, like something inside is twisted, and my heart feels like it will explode. That feeling was different; I never felt it in my whole life, It's as if my entire world turned upside down" he said, romping around her and explaining with his hands.

" What did you do to me?, MISS," he asks, coming forward and griping her.

"Okay, I'm sorry if I made you feel that way. Now please forget all these and let me go," she said.

He loses his grip on her, lost in the intensity of his emotions, shaking his head vehemently.

"I can't,--" he murmured, And suddenly pulled &leaned forward, capturing her lips.

That moment She was shocked, but she couldn't act as he gripped her tightly in his hold. He leans forward more and starts kissing her roughly. passionately, she tries to push him away, but his grip only tightens. Confused and overwhelmed, she finally manages to break free and steps back, "No," she whispers, her voice trembling. "This isn't right." She was trying to protest, but what could she do? She was just nothing in front of his big form. He closed his eyes and once again captured her lips this time tilting more, then suddenly she, the girl gave him a push with all her strength, and he felt a sudden push and jerk away from her. He stumbles back, his eyes wide with surprise. The girl takes a step back, her chest heaving as she tries to catch her breath.

" Prithvi?"

" Prithvi Ji!"

"Mr. Prithvi please come back to reality," Abhi said, shaking him vigorously.

"What the hell?" Prithvi exclaimed, waking up in frustration.

"Abhi?" Prithvi said as he looked up.

Then he sat up, leaning against the headboard for support.

"What's your problem?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

"What are you doing at my house? this early?" he said. Then he noticed some suitcases.

He pointed at the bag. "And what are these bags for? Are you moving in here?"

"No, never. Even in my dream, there's no way I could live with you; you're impossible," Abhi said.

Abhi was going to say something, but then he stopped himself, and asked something entirely different from the right now situation: "Leave that aside; why is your face so flushed?" He asked, intrigued.

"What?" Prithvi responded, taken aback.

"Are you trying to tell me you had a steamy dream about someone?" Abhi teased. excited.

"Just cut the crap; what nonsense are you talking about?" Prithvi retorted, lighting a cigarette.

"No, no, you just had, and just tell me," Abhi pressed on.

"About what? Are you out of your mind?" Prithvi scratched his head, feigning ignorance.

"Dude, I can read people just by looking at them, and your face screams that I interrupted a very vivid fantasy," Abhi chuckled.

"Enough, Abhi," Prithvi said dismissively.

"Fine, keep your secrets, but it just proves that you're only human with emotions, not some emotionless robot," Abhi remarked.

Prithvi coughed, slightly embarrassed, just changing the topic. asked, "If not shifting here, are you going somewhere?" take another puff of his cigarette.

"Okay Back to the point, not me; we are going," Abhi said, folding his arms.

"What? Abhi kabhi toh serious ho jaya kr, jo mein puch raha hu uska answer de " Prithvi asked, looking puzzled.

"What I just did was answer You just asked if I'm going somewhere, so yes, I'm going, but not alone; you too are coming with me," Abhi said, glancing around, avoiding Prithvi's frustrated face.

"And where?" Prithvi asked.

"To the wedding," Abhi replied.

"Wedding?" Prithvi repeats, confused.

"Yes, where we met your bhabhi, Banglore," Abhi clarified.

"Bhabhi?" Prithvi took a drag from his cigarette and flicked it away. "No, I'm not going. Today's my day off, and I plan to sleep. You can go if you want and give them best wishes from my side too," Prithvi said, preparing to doze off.

Abhi unfolded his arms, exasperated. "Prithvi, how can you be so selfish?"

Prithvi gestured with his hand dismissively. "Just go away. I don't like revisiting the same places; it affects my reputation, which in turn affects my business. I'm telling you this because you wouldn't understand business tactics. Now, please leave," Prithvi instructed, pulling the blanket over himself.

"Also, don't forget to turn off the light on your way out," he added, leaving Abhi in disbelief.

5 hours later, Bangalore

"Prithvi, I'm so excited this time. I have a feeling things will progress," Abhi exclaimed, standing with Prthvi at the airport.

"Screw you, Abhi. You're taking me to this wedding on my day off. It's the only holiday I had this month and this wedding? This wedding isn't going to end in a single day, is it? It will waste 2-3 business days for me, knowing how crucial time it is for me. For Amar, we already have on so much to do with the hotel opening," Prithvi complained, checking his wristwatch while waiting for the car.

"Yeah, bhai, this is so wrong. I had only one holiday this month, and I was going to spend it with my girlfriend. You took that away from me; now I will have to face her wrath," Amar chimed in.

"Amar, yaar, yeh toh aisa hi hai. Just workaholic businessmen, for goodness sake, tu iske jaise mat behave kr or Tu please chup rahega ek minute," Abhi said.

"Okay," Amar shrugged his shoulders.

"See, you're not the only one busy here. My schedule was packed too; I had to clean up and reschedule so many patient appointments," Abhi argued.

"So?" Prithvi questioned.

"So is that. I don't know about you, but I want to have a life other than work," Abhi stated.

"You-"

"The car is here," Amar interrupted, saving Abhi from Prthvi's impending response. Abhi thanked Amar with a brotherly nod, and Amar sighed in response.

Inside the car,

"By the way, you should be happy. That girl who was flirting with you is getting married. You should be pleased," Abhi remarked.

Ignoring Abhi's comment, Prithvi reclined his seat and closed his eyes, attempting to nap.

"Who, bhai?" Amar asked, intrigued.

"Arey, there was this girl who was openly flirting with Prithvi," Abhi elaborated.

"Yeah, I think I know. She was just staring," Amar began.

Abhi said, looking at the passenger seat from the front mirror.

"By the way, Prithvi, your eyes were fixated on another girl. You must be hoping to see her, the one you were openly gawking at," Abhi teased.

"Boss? and interested in a girl? Bhai, on whom?" Amar pressed for details.

"I'll tell you, there was this girl from whom his eyes weren't leaving for even a second. He was,-" Abhi began, but Prithvi interrupted.

"Amar, just drive," Prithvi ordered.

"Abhi, wapis jana hein kya," Prithvi added tersely, and silence settled between them as the car continued to move forward. The tension in the air was palpable, and it was clear that Prithvi did not want to discuss the matter any further. Abhi and Amar exchanged glances, understanding that it was best for them to comply with Prithvi's request for now. As for their better future, they drove on in silence, each lost in their thought chain.

At Veer's home,

Niharika sat still as ubtan was applied to her, her face portraying a melancholy that starkly contrasted the joyous occasion. Her mother urged the attendant, "Apply it well."

"Yes, Mom," Anu complied, covering Niharika's body with the ubtan. Moments later, her mother instructed, "Niharika, go and change for the mehndi ceremony."

"Send this ubtan to the groom's house," she told their aunt.

"Ishita, go and help her change" her mother.

"Maa, she can go herself; waise bhi yeh badi ho gyi hein; sab kuch khud karna janti hein; or sab apne decision le sakti hein; kyu niharika," Ishita replied coldly.

"Don't start again, Ishita," their mother warned.

"I'm just saying-" Ishita retorted.

"I'll g...o my...self," Niharika intervened, rising to leave.

"Mr. Prthvi, welcome. Thank you for gracing us with your presence. Please, go inside. We'll join you after welcoming some other guests. In the meantime, feel free to freshen up," Veer said, shaking Prthvi's hand.

As the trio began to move inside, Abhi commented, "Dude, I can't spot her. Where's Ekta?"

"Don't worry, Bhai, you'll find her," Amar reassured him.

"This time, get her number. You can't keep traveling back and forth like this," Amar suggested.

"I know, but if I spot her..." Abhi trailed off, scanning the crowd.

"Remember, don't appear desperate. You shouldn't let her know you're so eager to see her," Amar advised.

"But I am desperate. Why would I pretend otherwise?" Abhi questioned.

"Trust me, bhai, it's how female psychology works," Amar explained.

"So, you're saying she'll appreciate me ignoring her?" Abhi probed.

"No, bhai, it's a tactic. I've tested this technique on my girlfriend," Amar clarified.

"Really?"

"Of course," Amar affirmed.

"Is it working?" Abhi asked.

"Work? Bhai, she will run into your fingertips after you try it; she will think that you are ignoring her and that you don't care about her. So that will make her go crazy." Amar responded confidently.

"Can I believe you, Amar?" Abhi said,

"believe?" Amar said dramatically.

"Bhai, believe? what you're talking about; my girlfriend is just crazy over me."

"Really?" Abhi said impressed.

"Yeah."

"She goes crazy every time I ignore her and starts thinking about what she did wrong, begs for forgiveness, and starts roaming around me like a lost tale," Amar proudly said dramatically.

"But how did you make her go crazy like that?"

Amar chuckled and replied, "It's all about understanding her emotions and making her feel valued. Once you master that, she'll be head over heels for you. Too," Amar said.

And Abhi started clapping for him with an admiring nod and then hugged him, "You are my life savior, Amar."

" Bhai don't worry, Hum dono bhabhi ko bhi apka deewana bana denge" Amar said

"You know what? Take these Hermes bags. You bought me thinking this can compensate for your childish behavior," she exclaimed.

"Arey no," he said, getting up.

"You think girls like materialistic things? Am I a kid you could buy me things and win my favor."
