“How much do you want, boss?” One of the men holding the phone asked with an excited look. Clearly, he was ready to suck Kingsley dry of his fortune.

“Not too much. At least one hundred thousand for each of us. It’ll just delay our time if we ask for too much, which wouldn’t be good for us. *The leader of the gang was smoking a cigarette. His face was relaxed without the slightest hint of nervousness.

Wanda, who had just graduated from college, had never witnessed or been in something like this. Naturally, she stuttered. It was brave of

her not to cry out loud.

“Hehe. You’re going to know real soon, little girl” said the leader cheerfully. He then nodded to one of his men, and the person understood

what he meant.

The man quickly approached Wanda and reached out to grab her chin. “I’m warning you two. Don’t mess around, or you’re gonna regret it.”

Judging by Wanda’s voice, she was about to cry, but she stuck her neck out and desperately screamed at the kidnappers. She knew that they would not listen to reason, but she was not afraid at that moment.

She glanced at Gwyneth and thought it was most likely because her presence gave her a sense of security. Wanda was positive that Gwyneth had a plan. All she had to do was to follow her lead and stall as much as possible.

Gwyneth could not see Wanda’s expression then, but she could imagine it. She could not help but want to compliment her. It was great. that her sharpness was still intact.

Just as Wanda expected, her words did not deter the kidnappers. Two men walked up to Gwyneth and Wanda, respectively, looked at each other, and took out two guns from their pockets.
