Chapter 10: Carrying a Child

I stayed inside the house for more than a month now. Vigor just keeps

messaging me or even visiting me and my parents are cool with that.

They knew that it was Vigor alone who makes me forget every painful

memory that I had. The homeschool is very boring that I wanted to just

sleep. I don't know because I never felt this bored all my life about

learning, and the only idea that keeps me going is the fact that I am a

heiress and I am bound to carry the company that my parents have

worked hard through the years.

Waking up every morning gives me a lot of problem. Especially that my

stomach felt like it was going to swirl everything I intake and throw it

away up on my mouth. It was horrible, it was like I am puking all the

insides of my body.

I researched about it and the internet said that maybe I ate something

weird, so from then on, I avoid eating a lot of food.

Every time Vigor visits, I couldn't stop him if he wanted to make love.

And I don't understand also but it felt like I wanted it so much too. I am

even overthinking that maybe I turned into a maniac because of that.

The teacher keeps discussing and I am just listening to her, when he

asked me to stand up and write something on the board, I think my

world is turning around. I am so dizzy.

"Are you okay, Miss Canda?” My teacher asked.

I didn't had time to talk for an answer when I saw nothing and passed

out. The last thing that I remember is the door opened and a man

suddenly caught me from falling on my chair.

I woke up and I feel like I want to throw up. But seeing my man

seriously looking at me, I frown in surprise. Why is he here?

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

He took a deep breath and held my hand. “Let's go somewhere.” He

just whispered.

Although I am confused, upon looking at his shiny gold eyes, I just

knew I nodded like a good pet.

Vigor is driving a long way. I don’t want to ask him because I want him

to focus on the road. When I saw the road signs that we are going to

Saint Lawrence, I finally had an idea where we are off to go.

He once took me here, I guess we are still a year in our relationship

when he introduced me to the Vista's. At first, I was shocked upon

looking of how gorgeous the clan was! The only thing that I couldn“t

understand is the reason why they chose to live in such a remote area.

“We're going to the Vista's?" I asked.

He nodded and glanced at me, our eyes locked and I can see a glint of

fear in there.

“Yeah,”

It took us another 30 minutes to arrive on one of the little islands, when

we arrived, I immediately saw Liria, the wife of Lex Vista- the youngest

of the three Vista brothers. She's holding a child on her arms while

smiling at me.

“Nice to see you again, Pyress.” She said and gave me a warm smile.

I smiled at her and we talked a bit. I also played with her son. The

baby's so cute, and I couldn't help to pinch the cheeks. Ghod! I am

having fetish with that chubby tight cheeks!

I didn't even mind of someone's looking, I just wake up and went back

to reality when I felt someone hugged me from the back and caressed

my stomach. Vigor's breath was hitting a skin on my neck making me

gasp and shiver.

"Let's go?” He whispered softly.

I pouted and just nodded.

He was holding my waist as we walk to the doctor's office. Leo

immediately hugged me, and I laughed giggly.

We both stopped when we felt that someone is going to murder us

with his sharp looks. We just sillily looked at Vigor and laughed again.

When we are done playing, the real deal is to talk about something,

and I don't understand anything.

When Leo said that I have to lay down and he would ultrasound my

stomach, I'm a bit shocked.

"For what?" I asked.

"To see if the baby's healthy?” Leo said that made my mouth drop

open.

“A b-baby?" I asked confusedly.

He didn’t answer me, and he started to do the thing.

“I thought Leo is a vet doctor? Am I a pregnant cat or something?” I

asked pouty.

Vigor chuckled and just kissed my pouted lips. “He's still a doctor.”

I didn't talk anything but when I saw a little burb on the screen, my eyes

widen

"A fetus?” I asked again.

Leo nodded with a big wide smile.

My heartbeat faster and I feel like I'm going to burst into tears in so

much happiness.

“You're 5 weeks pregnant,” Leo stated.

My mind went blank in so much happiness and hugged Vigor who is

beside me. It's the actual date the moment we first did it.

A lot of things happened to me, but this was the best.

Before anything else happened, Vigor already told Leo that he would

inform Pyress that she’s pregnant to the date they made it, not the date

of the full moon.

Guilt is creeping him, but he must endure it. I guess that is the best

revenge an innocent woman can cast upon him- unending guilt.

Seeing her happy right now gives flutter to his heart and wished that

this would never end. One thing that he must face again is the fact that

werewolves are born after 6 full moons.

The people might not understand it- and would expect a premature

baby, but if they see that the baby is entirely healthy. He can't risk

anything when it comes to his family.

Never ever. Especially that this baby is the one he’s been waiting for, for

300 years.
