Chapter 11: Indecent Proposal

I am feeling extremely overwhelmed about the news that I found out. I

never expected something like this would happen so fast. I took a

glance on Vigor who's talking with Leo on the outside, while they let

me stay alone inside the clinic looking at the printed ultrasound where

a child is growing on the inside of my body.

I touched the surface of my stomach and I only noticed it but I already

had bumps. I thought I was just gaining weight because I am staying

home, quarantined but I never expected it to be like this.

I couldn't help but smile and just closed my eyes because my parents

would definitely be happy from this news.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

“Are you crazy? Do you intend to keep her inside the human's

habitats?” Angrily, Leo looked at Vigor.

He knows the fact that Vigor is definitely someone who isn't treated like

that but he doesn't care. They grew up together.

“I have no choice. If Pyress tells her parents, they wouldn't let their

daughter be with me especially about what happened.” He said angrily

too.

“Marry her.” Leo said as if it's all that easy.

Vigor froze for some time and think about it. It's been a tradition to the

humans that after marriage, she is intended to live with her husband.

“If she gives birth, we don’t know what the baby’s form will be. We have

to be extra careful about it.” Leo added when he couldn't answer.

Vigor clenched his jaws and glance to the clinic where his mate was

dreamily smiling while looking at the small printed paper. His heart

softens, but after sometime, he take a look at Leo.

He activated his telepathy among his brethren and spoke inside their

heads. Those who can hear him were those who have his blood.

“Prepare for the wedding feast. I will take home a wife in the next full

moon."

Upon looking at Leo which in front of him, a ghost of smirk was trying

to let go off his face.

PYRESS' POV

On our way home, I didn’t expect Vigor to ask me that he wanted to

talk to my parents. Well, it should be normal, right? Because we are

pregnant and I guess, we are going to have our own version of family,

right?

That idea made me blush. I don't know, maybe in great excitement or in

great embarrassment. It's awkward to think that we will finally be a

Mommy and Daddy?

I cringe in that part, so I didn’t notice that I am already kicking my feet

and covering my face.

“Are you okay?” Vigor asked me, he even stopped the car in the middle

of the road.

“No no! I am fine.” I assured him.

He creased his forehead confusedly and leaned to check my face. “Your

face is red.” He whispered so close on my face.

I gulped when I felt that electricity flow in my veins the moment his

breath touched my skin.

"Y-yes, love.” I assured him again.

He nodded, but he didn't widraw from his position. Instead, he lifts my

chin up and kissed my lips.

That was so soft and dreamy. I don’t know it he's teasing me because

he wasn't actually kissing me deep, he was just plainly giving me soft

kisses on the lips.

“Kiss me,” I whispered.

Our eyes met; I was once again lost inside those sparkly golden eyes.

His stares felt like I am a heroine of my own love story- which I am.

Because he's my man, and I am his.

I grabbed his nape this time and we kissed torridly.

My body felt so hot, and I have this feeling that I want to feel him more.

I think I didn't have to beg because he effortlessly pulled me on the

backseat and all I know was that the car was filled with moans and

groans as the car danced by the rhythms of the movements of our love.

WHEN we arrived home, I am feeling extremely sleepy. My energy was

drained because of what happened, but I really did my best to stay

active because my parents are waiting for us.

When we're inside the mansion, we went directly to the dining because

my parents were there. I kissed my mom's cheeks and my dad's as we

sit to eat our meals.

My eyes were almost dropping, thank God they already start talking.

“What is it that you want to talk with us?” Dad asked Vigor who's

beside me.

I can see how his serious eyes met dad's, now im intrigue of what he

wanted to say to my parents.

“I want to marry your daughter.” He immediately said that made me

almost spit out the food I'm eating.

My mom's spoon dropped making a loud sound. The helpers

immediately changed it though.

“Love, what is this?” I whispered to him.

Vigor just looked at me and he stood up to face my father, “Please, let

me marry your daughter.” He said, firm and formal.

“U-uhm, do you think it's too fast?” My mom butt in.

“Mummy,” I whispered as a sign to let Vigor.

"She's five weeks pregnant.” He said out of nowhere that this time

made me gasp too.

What the hell? Why did they tell them immediately! I wanted to surprise

them!

"WHAT?!" My dad's reaction sounded like he wanted to skin Vigor alive.

He stood up and face my boyfriend closely.

“Darling, stop.” My mom stood up too and held my dad.

“I'm surprised, but we must talk about this properly, come back

tomorrow.” My mom calmly said but I can see shock in her voice as

well.

“I will marry her, and I will take her with me. Good evening.” Vigor said

that left my parent's jaw drop.

I almost fell on the floor of what he said.

Why does it sound like he is declaring it rather than asking for

permission?! The way he said it, it would be 50% to win my parent's

approval.

Ugh, this damn cold-blooded human!

“Love, let's talk.” I just said before pulling him out of the house.
