"Oh god! This damn alarm"

Urghh..

I didn't set any alaram then how it is buzzing" I mumbled in my sleep and tired to grab my phone from the bedside table but didn't find it.

What the hell...I said while opening my eyes..

Arghh...what these three idiots doing in my room in this early morning...

Dristi: hey madam... don't glare at us like an angry bird...and thank us for waking you up.

"Thanks for what.... distrubing my beauty sleep" I said sarcastically.

Hani: if you sleep today also like a kumbhakaran then I think you will miss your haldi cutie...

"Hoyee.." I completely forgotten about my haldi.

Bulbul: now thank us.

"No way" I said.

Dristi: yes way..

Mean while maa & phuphi came..

Maa: you three are here..We both were searching for you three in the whole mansion.

Phuphi: the ceremony will be start in two hours. So hani, go and get ready and bulbul & dristi, you too also get ready and help your both friends in getting ready.

I stick out my tongue at them and said..

"Maa... phuphi...I don't want anyone to help me in getting ready. I will get ready by myself"I said.

Dristi & bulbul(shouted in union): what!!

Dristi: why cutiee... don't you want to look beautiful to your Abhi.

Bulbul: Ha...tell us cutiee...I thought I would do some art work on your face.

"That's the reason why I don't want anyone's help and waise Abhi and I don't like caking up my face with make up" I explained.

Bulbul: ok then your wish cutiee..

I smiled at them and they left except maa...

Maa: ok choti...here is your outfit and accessories. Get ready quickly.

I nodded my head while smiling at her and she too left... I got up lazily and went to washroom and did my routine and took a shower and wore a bathrobe and stepped out of the washroom. I dried my hair..

I glanced at the bright ang gorgeous lehenga and vibrant floral jewelry which is placed by maa on the bed.i opened the dress. It was sun yellow lehenga choli with floral printed along with heavy embroidery.

I wore the lehenga which was fitted perfectly and looked at the yellow and green combination of floral accessories and pick them one by one and put on them which was matched my outfit. I brushed my hair once again and left open. I was checking at my reflection in the mirror when I heard...

Dristi: wow...you are looking so gorgeous babe.

Bhabhi(smiling): cutiee...you don't need to check on yourself because you are blooming in this gorgeous lehenga..😊

"Sacchi" I asked her with a smile.

Bhabhi:yes cutiee...you are not only beautiful outside but also inside too...

Bhabhi said while walking towards me and caressed my hair and I grinned at her.

Dristi: sis...you can adore her after the ceremony because it's already late.

Bhabhi: haan... let's go.

"Vo bhabhi...what about hani? Had she got ready" I queried her.

Bhabhi: Haan cutiee...she is all ready and already sitting beside your bhai and busy in eating his brain.

"Oh" I smiled.

We walked downstairs and saw the whole mansion is adorned with yellow flowers garlands. The ceremony was helding in our lawn. So, bhabhi and dristi took me there while both of them standing beside me while looking at the decoration. As soon as I reached there...I saw how elegantly the lawn is decorated with yellow florals.

Yellow is surely a summer colour. When I see this color I feel summery & happy. There was a small aisle to reach the mandap. The aisle was decorated with the marigold flowers adorned in a spiral form in order to cover the pillars which was either side of the aisle and white & yellow tassels hanging from the roof which further beautified the over all settings.

The mandap was looking pretty simple. It he has nothing but a green mandap stand and yellow & white flowers hanging from it. It has a beautiful yellow carpet with yellow flowers covering the stands of the mandap. The simplicity of the mandap is what makes it so amazing. The mandap is further decorated with different size of vessels which are filled with flowers to embrace the bride & groom. All these are symbol of celebration, peace, love and tradition.

Even in a bright sunny day this all together was giving me soothing & calming experience. I walked down the aisle with a copy smile on my face and sat beside Abhi who had a poker face. I peered at my Surroundings and saw jai & monkey were dancing while singing "aaj tho mere bhai ki haldi hai aaj tho mere bhai ki haldi hai " and all were laughing looking at both of them as one of them is dancing on wearing the dupatta on his head..

"A-Abhi"I wispered.

He twisted his head and said...

Abhi: sweetheart....this is not the safest place to kiss me.

I closed my mouth like a fish and I bet my cheeks turned to red shade and quickly looked down on my lap...Huff...he is pondering that I would kiss him now...and how the hell I had forgotten about the kiss..

"Vo...Abhi...I didn't..." I was saying when our elders came to us.

All elders started applying haldi to us with grass and are brushing it on our face, hands and at feet...after elders applying haldi on us, Abhi didn't even wait a second and left.

Mean while all were applying haldi with grass on me....dristi and bul also came to after teasing hani and applied the paste all over my face saying..

Dristi: if you apply more then your skin will be glow with out any make up.

I giggled at her and took the paste in my hands silently and suddenly applied on their faces.

" I am not that much selfish to want all the glowness only on my skin but I too want both of your skin's to be blooming" I said with a smirk.

Bulbul: aww... cutiee..

They both pouted and mean while dev came to me and said...

Dev: I too want to apply that on you.

"Ok dev" I said and he took the paste with his little hands and applied it on me while giggling and in return I applied haldi on his nose while laughing..

Suddenly a fist of haldi landed on my head and I looked at the direction and saw monkey and jai have an evil smile on their faces. I removed the paste angrily..

That idiots...I won't leave them...and took the haldi in my hand and stood up and started chasing them along with me dristi and bul were also chasing them to help me...but with my short legs I can't reach them so I thrown the paste at them but by mistake it landed on Abhi...

Hoyee...it hit on his face perfectly..

Monkey: hahaa... pumpkin..

Jai: hehe... bhabhi run..

Abhi: what the fuck...

Jai: bhabhi...run..

Jai screamed while i froze to my place not knowing what to do...and looking at the direction where those two idiots ran off, not knowing that my furious devil with turmeric all over his face was standing beside me.

Hey baghwan...save me..😩

I slowly turned my head to met the familiar cute brown eyes that had anger swirling in them. I took a step back to run but it's already late...his strong arm wrapped my waist and pushed me to the against wall. I sequealed and he was towering over me with his height.

He had half haldi on his nose & cheeks. He looks so funny but it's not the time to laugh. He was staring straight into my boring black eyes and I was hypnotized under his gaze. He leaned in and my anxiety increased. I started pushing his chest but asusal he didn't budge. He caught my wrist and pinned them above my head to the wall with his left hand while his right hand is on my waist. I was completely trapped in his hold.

He leaned closer and he was just an inch away from my face. I could feel his warmth breath on my lips. My heart started beating furiously and my throat become dry with his proximity. His eyes landed on my lips and then his eyes locked with mine. His lips curled into a sexy smirk.

Hoyee...he is damn sexy..😄

He leaned in and his lips almost touching mine and I closed my eyes in anticipation but I didn't feel his lips neither I didn't open my eyes.

Abhi: don't play with me sweetheart...

He wispered huskily against my ear. His warm breath was sending tingles across my skin and pressed his cheeks against mine causing the haldi paste to make contact with my skin. He did the same to my other cheek making his beard slightly rubbing against my smooth skin. He moved away from me...

Hoyee...he applied haldi to me..😍

Abhi: and you know very well what will be the result..

He said with a mischievous smile... and left...I rubbed my red cheeks and glanced around and saw bhai & hani busy in their bickering. I went to them and applied haldi on bhai & hani. I applied more haldi on her saying..

"The more the haldi applied on your face the more glower your skin will become"

She giggled and did the same to me.

After few minutes..

Monkey, jai & Kunal bhai started applying haldi on all over bhai and tore this kurta and poured bucket full of turmeric water on him.

Uff.. thankgod my abhi is safe...and I think they won't even dare to apply haldi on him. I smiled at the thought and looked at them.

Kunal bhai, bhabhi , jai, dristi, bulbul, Anjali aunty, Raj uncle...all Were playing by throwing haldi on each other while running each other back nd slowly they started haldi holi.

After sometime..

Phuphi: choti...go and call my son.. you both should take a ritual bath.

Suddenly I remembered about the kiss...arghh..no way I will go and call him.

"Phuphi...he is your son you have to call him not me"I said smartly.

Phuphi: zoya...he may be my son but he only listens to you because you wrapped him around your fingers.

Poor me...they are all thinking very high about me but they don't know what he asks to do every time they send me to him. I nodded my head and went to him who is busy in playing with dev.

"Abhi..vo...phuphi is calling you" I said.

Abhi: dev... yesterday someone said that she will kiss me but till now it didn't happen.

Thankgod dev is busy in playing with his toys and didn't pay heed to him. I don't know what to say and my heart was pounding wildly and said...

"Vo.. A-Abhi...I am feeling shy" I blurted out while looking down.

Abhi: ten years ago you don't have any shy to stole kisses from me when I was asleep and now you are feeling shy to kiss me.

I quickly looked at him while parting my lips by hearing his words that means he was awake all the time when I went to his room and naughtily kissed him.

Hoyee...zoya...😶

I pinched my lips shyly and looked at him and he has a wicked smile on his face..

"Vo..Abhi..main.." I don't have words to speak do I stopped while looking at my feet.

Abhi: tell me...hmm..hmm...now cat caught your tongue.

Maa: Abhi...choti..come fast.

Maa called from little far from us..and he looked at me while smirking.

Abhi: Maami...I don't want to do this fuc...

I stopped him while placing my hand on his mouth to stop him and blurted out whatever came into my mind..

"I w-will k-kiss you but not now and don't spoil their happy mood.. Please come"I pleaded.

Abhi: so you mean that I am spoiling there happiness...hmm..

"I didn't mean like that Abhi.." I said.

He left angrily. I went back to the mandap where he is sitting with an angry face. After few seconds we had our ritual bath...and after that we had our food and started playing and all. like that the day got ended.

The next day maa woke me up and I rubbed my eyes with my hands and mumbled..

Maa: choti...you are still asleep..

"Hmm.."

Maa: wake up choti... it's already noon..

"So what maa I am feeling sleepy" I mumbled.

Maa: Miss zoya Singhania it's 2:30pm and if you will not wake up now then I will call your papa.

"Maa...no..." I said quickly.

I don't want to listen to his class as soon as I woke up.

Maa: ok missy I won't call anyone just go & fresh up and have your brunch. I am leaving and don't you try to sleep again.

She warned and left. I looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 2:30pm. It's noon..I spend some time on rolling on my bed at the same time my stomach grumbled.

So I got up lazily and went to washroom did my business and looked at the food. It's aloo parathas. I sat on the couch and started attacking on my food...mean while maa & aunty came to my room.

Maa: after having your food.. wear these.

She said while pointing to the packet she brought.

"Why" I asked her.

Aunty: Today is your sangeet choti..

"So what...waise no one is going to dance so it's waste to go down instead I will sleep on my bed again" I mumbled while having my food.

Maa: choti...chup chap get ready and come down and aunty will help you in getting ready.

I nodded my head and left..

Aunty: so choti...you know I have a surprise for you.

"I know what's your surprise" I grinned.

Aunty: and what is that..

"Last time maa told me she has a surprise and showed me nanaji naniji and this time I think you will show me dadaji & dadiji as surprise" I said smiling widely at her.

Aunty(sarcastically): hehe...your guess is wrong..

"Then what's the surprise" I asked her.

Aunty: if I tell you then it won't be called as a surprise and don't think too much about it and go for bath mean while I go and get ready and will come back.

I pouted at her and walked to bathroom to take a shower. I was enjoying my bath when I heard the door knock..

Aunty(shouting): choti... it's been one hour since I left your room and you are still taking the shower.

Uff...iss chudile aunt bhi na...I quickly completed my bath and wrapped the towel around my body and stepped out of the washroom and saw a pissed off aunty. I giggled at her and she glared at me.

Aunty: sit..I will dry your hair.

She dried my hair and gave me the dress which maa gave me. I took the dress nd looked at it. It was a wonderful beaded two piece pink gown. The top of the gown is a heavily beaded ombre design of sequin and beads. The tulle skirt is a tiered ball gown silhouette with horse hair edging.

I loved it..I don't know how my Abhi knows my taste...I wore the dress and aunty made my hair by making my hair strands into curls and I put on the bracelet, earrings and simple pendant on me and aunty applied a tiny make up on my face. Finally I got ready and whirled around by holding my skirt and said..

"How am I looking.." I giggled.

Aunty: you are looking damn beautiful my dear daughter and I bet your Abhi can't take his eyes off from you choti...

"Hayee" I hided my face with my hands shyly and aunt laughed at me.

Aunty: ab chale..

I nodded my head and walked downstairs and saw whole house is decorated with lights and flowers and aunty straight away took me to the lawn where sangeet was helding. I got shocked looked at every one because of all my friends and family. They all wore different kinds of costumes... hoyee..they are all going to perform... and when did they practiced...anyway this is the surprise aunty is talking about...hehe...I like the surprise...and I was the only one who is looking so simple and elegant but I loved my dress so I don't care and searched for the one I want.

Finally I found him..he was wearing a white texedo which makes him looking so hot and staring at me dotingly.

"Cutiee..you are looking dead drop gorgeous"

All shouted at a time and rose petals were falling on me and then I realised I was on the spotlight and music was blasting at the background and eyes are on me. I don't like attention. So I quickly wispered a thankyou and went to my Abhi with out looking at anyone.

Khunal Bhai and misti bhabhi were doing anchoring and all were dancing for different songs. I don't even know when they practiced.

After an hour they called bhai & hani and they danced for punjabi song...thankgod they didn't called me and Abhi or else what would happen to us because we didn't do any practice. I was thanking to god but all my prayers got in vain when they called Abhi & me and I got stunned.

Uff...I feel like I want to disappear in the air at this moment..

I slightly peered at him nd he already stood up from his chair & extended his hand towards me..I hestitantly placed my hand on his and stood up with a nervous smile.

We walked to the stage while my heart was racing like a horse...as soon as we are on the stage, the music started and all my nervous face turned into a nostalgic smile..I grinned like a mad person at Abhi and in return he chuckled at me...it was the song we both danced in my mom's birthday day before her death and I recollected the steps..

We both started dancing in saala while holding eachother and we both lost into our own world..

I was in love with my devil that it feels like floating in air everytime he looks at me and touches me with his rough hands.

I came out of my trance by hearing the claps & hooting sounds and my body was full in fire and goosebumps arised on my body while my heart was pounding.we both parted away and went back to our seats shyly.

After an hour the sangeet was ended and went to our respective rooms. I changed my dress into Abhi's shirt and laid on my bed, closed my eyes and dozed off quickly due to tiredness.
