“I know that person?” Sebastian was stunned. “Why didn’t you tell me something as important as you getting married? And you didn’t introduce me to him beforehand either? Yet you claim you’re no longer a child. Is marriage something you can just decide for yourself on a whim?”

Charles frowned. When he saw the nervous look on Noelle’s face, he reached out and stroked her hair, signaling to her there was nothing to worry about.

With a grin on his face, he added, “Nelly and I were planning to wait for our relationship to be a little more stable before we told you. Before this, Nelly was so confident that she would never fall for me, and...” Chuckling, he continued, “It’s my fault, though.
