8 months later....

Date : 7 October

It has been exactly 8 months since I last saw her—the light of my life. I know how I have spent these days without seeing or being around her.

I want her all for myself, always near me. Oh god, I miss her so much. It feels like a part of me is with her, and something is always missing.

Yes, she took away my peace and my whole heart. I can't blame her as I happily handed it to her.

"But now, I want this to end. I want this emptiness to end and spend my whole life loving her, making her happy, and being each other's home. Soon, this wait will be over. I am coming to get you, my love," Viaansh thought, seeing the date mentioned on the documents he was signing.

At Goyal Mansion

"Kya hua, mummy? App sab yahan aise achanak , sab theek haina?" Shreya asked as she entered the living room after learning that her parents had suddenly come from her hometown. (What happened, Mom? You both are here out of the blue. Is everything alright?)

"Actually..." her mother hesitated.

"You all are worrying me. Please tell me quickly," she panicked.

"Fine, don't tell me. Dadi, app to bataoge," she said to her grandmother after receiving silence from her parents. (Dadi, will you tell me?)

"Beta, vo... tumhare liye ek shaadi ka rishta aya hai ," her mother revealed. (Dear, we've received a marriage proposal for you.)

"K-kyaa?" she stuttered, stunned by what she heard. (W-What?)

"But Dadi, she just turned twenty-three, itni jaldi kya hai?" Maahir interrupted her. (What's the rush?)

"See, we are not telling her to get married today. It's just that the boy is nice and well-settled. The family is nice and moreover, you know-'"

"Mujhe kuch nahi sunna dadi, abhi mein shaadi nahi karungi," tears welled in her eyes and she ran into her room. (I don't want to hear anything. I am not going to get married right now.)

"Arre beta suno to."

"Let me speak to her," her Dadi got up from her seat to follow Shreya.

In the room, she saw Shreya crying into the pillow. She sat down beside her and started caressing her hair.

"Apni dadi pe vishwaas nahi hai?" (Don't you trust your grandmother?)

She sobbed into the pillow even more but didn't respond.

"Hmm, bolo toh, nahi hai kya. Dekho agar jawaab nahi dogi toh mein jaarahi hun," she started getting up. Shreya held her hand and stopped her. (Tell me. Don't you? If you aren't going to respond, then I am leaving.)

"Itni jaldi hai mujhe khudse door bhejne ki, itna pareshaan karti hoon mein apko," she said, wiping her continuously flowing tears. (You're in a rush to send me away from you. Do I trouble you so much?)

'"Bas yahi sila diya tumne humari dosti ka," her Dadi said dramatically. Shreya could not stop herself from laughing. (Is that what you think of our friendship?)

"Meri bachi," her Dadi smilingly said and kissed her forehead. (My dear girl.)

"Mujhpe Vishwaas karti hona," her Dadi asked, and Shreya nodded in response. (You trust me, right?)

"See, beta, we are not telling you to marry now. I am just saying that the boy is nice, well-educated, and respectful, and the family is also well-respected. I just want you to meet, know, and spend time with him. How do you say that in your language? 'Date,' yes, go on dates with him and then get married."

"And what about mom and dad? Did they agree to this dating thing?" Shreya said with a ray of hope in her eyes.

"Kaise nahi manenge, tu uski chinta mat kar, unko mein sambhaal lungi," her dadi said, and Shreya hugged her in response. (Why will they not agree? You don't worry about that. I will deal with them.)

"And tomorrow is your holiday, so they are coming to see you even if they have already seen you, but still for a formality. You know they like you so much that they are ready to make you their daughter-in-law today itself, but we told them about giving some time to you, and they agreed immediately."

"They have already seen me... Who is the guy?" Shreya inquired of her grandmother.

"Arre, you know him, Kiara's cousin brother, Viaansh."

SHREYA'S POV

What the hell! My first crush, Mr. Viaansh Singh Rajvansh, is coming to see me. Earlier, I felt nervous about someone coming and seeing me to marry me. But now I am more nervous after knowing that it is him.

His mere presence near me stops my breath. When we danced that day at the reception, only I knew how I managed to breathe. His aura, smell and even someone saying his name around me make me blush like an idiot.

What will happen when he will be here to marry me? This is not how I expected my crush to end up.

After Dadi left, I was more worried, thinking about all this. I didn't leave my room because I was too shy to see my parents after knowing he was coming to see me. Things related to marriage make me very shy.

I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door to see Bhabhi standing there with her hands backwards.

"Bhabhi, what is it? ," I said, and she smiled and said " koi tumse milne aya hai" (someone is here to meet you)

'"who?"

She brought her hands forward and I say my baby in her hands , my fluffy baby coming towards me with big steps , wagging tail and sat in my lap and started licking my face.

So let me introduce him to you , He is Mr. fab Goyal, my furry companion , mere Sukh Dukh ka Saathi, he was at my uncle's house for few days because I was at a office trip for few days and bhai-Bhabhi didn't had time to look after him.

" did you missed mamma , because mamma missed her baby alot " i said in baby tone and in response he started wagging his tail more Fastly .

when I was busy with my reunion with him, i didn't noticed that Bhabhi was still there smilling looking at us.

" Sorry , bhabhi aieye humare pass baithiye ." i said and she placed a bag on side table and sat beside us.(come sit with us)

"She put the bag on the side table and sat beside me. "Mummy Ji has sent these. Try them on, and wear any that you like."

"Oh, okay."

"I know what is going on in your mind. I have gone through the same, and I won't tell you to stop these thoughts, but I just want you to relax."

"Viaansh and I have grown up together, and being his sister, I am not exaggerating about him. But I just want you to give this a thought. He will not disappoint you, I can guarantee. And he will himself prove it to you," she said mischievously, and I couldn't help but blush.

"Bhabhi, how is Bhai reacting to this news?"

"He has mixed feelings about this. For him, it is assuring that you will marry someone he knows. Still, he also worries about you as you are too young to take on all these responsibilities."

"I know, Bhabhi. He is always like this, but I will talk to him after all this and assure him," she smiled and nodded in response.

I was in my room scrolling through his Instagram account, his articles on Google, pictures, videos—every possible thing I could find about him.

You can say I am stalking him, so what? He is going to be my husband. Oh, gosh, that feels so new and surreal to the ears.

The thought of him being my husband is enough to make me shiver and have butterflies in my stomach at the same time. I am going to be Mrs. Shreya Viaansh Singh Rajvansh.. His name besides mine just seems like a dream.

I was going to sleep and fab was on my lap looking at me with soft eyes .just then I remembered something.

I placed him in my hands and said to him" bacha , i know you are very possessive towards me, you bark at every stranger who even looks at me but tomorrow , who is coming  is not any stranger , he is your going to be father , okay? so, don't bite him . " he barked at me softly in response and I placed a kiss on his forehead.i blushed after thinking about the remark i just made!!

i don't think i am getting any sleep today as a hopeless romantic and overthinker I am ! Huhh!! tomorrow is going to be a long day!!
