Chapter 10

here's chapter ten..^^..hmmm..its just a shame that few only read this,  but thanks to them, I'm also glad to see that everyday someone reads this..ahaha..i think i better start a new story..

CHAPTER 10

**SIDE STORY OF BANE**

After his mother and his sibling went out of Bane’s room they talk a little about the situation Bane and Gab and what will they do about it.

“Mom what are you going to tell father about them?” ask Grey.

“Of course ill talk to him about Bane and Gab, he shouldn’t let his anger towards humans affects his children with his mate”

Lovell nod “and what if father didn’t agree with you?”

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.  Your father acts like an idiot sometimes.” The two laugh at what their mother said, and the two said goodbye to her and walks to their rooms”

She walks back to her husband’s office and saw him standing at the large glass window looking outside.

“You shouldn’t put the children on the middle of it Lucas” she said.

“Then what? Let any human know where we are? And then let them hunt our kind again?” he said.

“It’s already in the past, and were living in peace with them now, so don’t be like that, cant you see what your doing to your son? And you cant broke the bond with the both of them. Let him and his mate be together Lucas.”

“But Tanya, I’m just protecting our clan, especially my son’s and daughter. He’ll be the next alpha if I retired, so he needs to follow the rules of our clan, for others to follow him and respect him. He shouldn’t choose that human as a mate.”

“Aren’t you being to hastily about this alpha thing about Bane? He’s only nineteen and you actually pushes him to that, isn’t that unfair of dear?”

“No Tanya. He’s old enough. When I was his age I was already the alpha of our clan.”

“But Lucas let him enjoy life, it’s different now than before. Were not at war anymore with humans or other clan.”

“I know Tanya, but I want him to know what responsibility is, I want him to be prepared for the worst thing that could happen.”

Tanya just shook her head at his husband. “and what’s that worst thing could happen if I may ask?”

“The humans.” Lucas said bluntly.

Tanya rolled her eyes at what his husband said. “Lucas, don’t be like that. Aren’t you being judgmental? Not every humans are bad.”

“I don’t think so. I know the likes of their kind. They’re selfish, utterly close-minded and most of them are liars.”

“Maybe that’s true but I don’t think it’s fair to look at human flaws. I mean not every one of them is like that. Especially his grandparents, they’re both kind people as you know them personally, maybe their grandchild too. And I think its fare enough that we meet this mate of our son” She suggested to his husband.

He thinks for a moment considering what his wife said. He looks to her and grabs his wife’s hand and hugs her.

“Hmmm. I guess your right. I’m sorry Tanya, it’s just that I can’t believe that Bane actually having a human as a mate, its just that I’m scared for the consequences that lies when they mated.”

“Ow don’t worry dear, your son is like you. He’s strong and I think I know what he’s doing and what he really like to do with his life, we just need to be there always to guide him.”

With a nod Lucas pulled away and kissed his wife.

“I guess your right. I’m sorry Tanya, I’ll talk to Bane about it.”

With a smile she nod’s and kissed her. “No worries I’m glad that your now thinking clearly just give them a chance. I think it’ll be fine.”

“Yeah. I’ll consider it when I meet this mate of him, what’s his name again?” he ask

“It’s Gab.”

“Hmmm. Ok.” and after awhile they go out of his office and went to their room.

Friday afternoon comes and Bane just in their living room watching movies to himself.

Four days have passed and everyday he talks to Grey about Gab and all, and his brother would eventually get irritated about him asking the same question again.

He can’t go out as his father ordered him, so he told his brother to keep an eye of Gab for a while. The boredom finally hit him and he stands up annoyed. He wanted to see Gab.

With the determination on his mind, he race upstairs on his father’s office and saw him sited on his leather seat, looking at random papers.

He look up and saw Bane. “What brings you here Bane?” he ask.

“I want to see Gab. I can’t stand this anymore. Its driving me insane to not see him.” frustration was hitting him.

“We’ll it took you this long to actually man up and talk to me about him.” He said.

Bane looks at his father dumbfounded. “Are you expecting me to talk to you about Gab? Aren’t you mad at all when I talk to you about him?”

“Yes. But your mother and I talked about it and I guess she’s right. I cant break the bond between you two when you know that your mates. And I’m sorry if I get mad in an instant about it.”

The look on Bane face never leave when he hear what his father been telling him.

“What does that look for? Aren’t you happy that I’m actually trying to be nice here?” while smiling at his oldest son.

“Yes father, but how-? Why-?”

“Don’t be thankful yet Bane. I need three things that you’ll need to do for me to really accept that human as your mate.” Looking instantly dead serious at Bane.

Bane nod and ask what his father’s needs are. “What is it father?”

“First, I want you to bring that boy to this place. Alone, for me and your mother to actually meet him this weekend.” He said.

He nods smiling to what his father said. “Yes father.”

“Secondly, after we meet him, tell him about what we are, our kind and about the pup. And lastly mate with him, make him one of us. If you can do that I’ll be happy to accept him as you’ve been mated.”

Shock at what his father told him. Its like a punch in the gut that he’ll need to tell Gab what he really was and what will Gab do when he told him about it? Will he get angry? Or worst get scared and run away from him. Clouded by the thought of what he needs to do. He mentally nods and saw his father smiled and come to him.

“I need to do this Bane. And you need to do this as well. If you are really meant to him then he will accept you for what you are and would want to be one of us, cause I don’t want my clan to see me and my family not following our rules.”

“Yes father I understand.” Bane smiled slightly knowing what his father was saying.

He didn’t want to tolerate Lycans not following their rules so they need Gab to be one of them for them to be together.

He pats his son’s shoulder. “Good. Make me proud Bane, and don’t worry I know that it’ll be fine.”

He nods to his father. “Yes father. I guess I better start writing the best words to say for him then.” Bane joke, but he really needs the proper words for Gab to understand him.

His father nod and smiled at his older son.

Bane walk away from his father’s office and before he could close the door he saw his mother smiling at him. She looks up at his husband and smiled seeing his son didn’t look heart broken but deep in though.

Bane closes the door and his mother came closer to him. “What happen Bane? And does your father scold you again?” she said.

“Not really mother, he just told me the things that I needed to do for him to accept Gab.”

So he told his mother what his father needs him to do and ask about what to do about it.

Her mother smiled “Bane. I think its just fine if you tell him the truth, as what your father have told you if you really are meant to him he’ll understand it and will accept to be with you, you just need to tell him that.”

He signed. “Ok.” He said and his mom hugs him and she came inside his father’s office.

The day went along too fast. After their dinner he didn’t talk to Grey about Gab that his brother looks at him confuse and his sister too. He just ate his meal and later on told his parents that he needs some thinking to do, his father and mother just nod while his siblings have that confuse look on their faces, and he went upstairs to his room.

He lock himself on his room thinking how would he properly tell Gab the truth and about them. Thinking all night about how he would start it. And just ended up with nothing and so he was just looking forward at the day he would say it and for Gab to accept him.
