Chapter 15

****so here's the next chapter..well i dont know if you would love this, im having a writers block right now but i still finished this one. maybe because my head hurts that I cant focus well on it.***

CHAPTER 15

I walk back on my grandparent’s house and saw that the light inside was still on. It’s already ten at night that I came home. I guess they’re still up and worried of me. I forgot to call them or even texted them but then remembered that my phone was dead.

Opening the front door I saw my grandparents waiting in me. They look up and saw me and I came to sit across from them.

“Welcome home Gab, why are you unattended?” said grandma and hug me.

“I’m sorry, my phone was dead. Was shadow and Jade already asleep?” I ask and they nod.

They look up to me and I tried to say something again but the words didn’t slip off my mouth. I guess grandpa notice it and finally talk.

“Seeing the look in your face Gab, guess you already know what they are?” He said.

“Why didn’t you say that before? That their kind was real and living here? And you know them?” I ask and they nod again.

“They’re not the bad one’s Gab. We live in their territory and protecting us from other lycans that still has a grudge over humans.”

“Then why don’t you get out of here and live somewhere safer like near us?” I ask then grandpa shook his head.

“It’s not bad living here. This was our home and people here was good to us, humans and lycans live here peacefully away from the judgmental and close-minded ones. We form alliances on them to be able to protect one another. And we don’t want another blood shed between our kinds. Our ancestors are the ones that protected the lycans during war years ago, and we plan on protecting them up until we still lived.”

“Your grandpa is right Gab. That’s why mostly who lives here were lycans. They live amongst us here because they feel much safer.”

I look down and remember what Bane said. “Do you know too that shadow was a lycan?” I ask and they nod.

“We found out later on when I’ve met with Lucas and the rest of his clan that a pup was missing and they describe what it look like. And remembering shadow my guess really was correct. I didn’t tell him considering other clan wants also the pup. I don’t know why but lately wolves from other clans started to roam on their territory for the pup.”

“Why shadow?” I ask.

“Don’t worry about it, I’ve talk to Lucas about it and he already set forth a few men to guard his territory as we talk about it the day after our meeting.” I nod.

“Grandpa, does mom and dad knows about this?” I ask.

“They knew about lycans Gab but choose to live amongst humans” I signed.

“Grandpa, Bane told me something and I don’t know how to answer to him.” I said the tears starting to form in my eyes.

“I know it already Gab, Bane told me about you and him being mates. And I still can’t believe that he choose you as his mate.” He said smiling slightly at me. Then he continued “Guess Lucas like you huh? He really doesn’t like humans at all but seeing you here, looking fine and talking to us about Bane. It’s really you who will decide on that.” Grandpa said.

“I really love him, but I can’t do it. I didn’t know if mom and dad would accept me after I became one of them and what would I tell Jade and my bestfriends? I have schooling to do too.”

“Ow Gab. Guess it’s better if we’ll talk about this to your parents and you talk to Bane about it too ok?” said grandma.

I nod and stand up.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be alright sweetheart.” grandma said hugging me and grandpa taps me on the shoulder. They said goodnight to me and I go back to my room and crawled myself on my bed. Seeing shadow sleeping curled into a ball, I change to only my boxers and lay down on the bed, shadow woke up a little and crawled closer, cuddling to me. I rub his fur. Knowing that shadow was a lycan didn’t scare me at all. And all I saw in him was my little pup. So I closed my eyes and let myself drift to sleep.

Morning comes and I wake up on someone’s breath on my neck, I wiggled away but I then felt something around me. I instantly open my eyes at first I thought its only shadow, but then when I look down I saw him in front of me still sleeping.

I still heard the snoring and the breath of someone on my neck and I look on the thing that wraps me and saw a hand, I tried to get it away, seeing it’s larger than mine. I begun to panic and tried to get it off me again but it just pulls me closer to him. I then look back and saw Bane on my bed sleeping beside me.

I was shock that I instantly scream upon seeing him. He instantly woke up and looks around, alarmed when I instantly scream.

“What? What happen? Where’s the rogues?” he said rapidly.

“What rogue are you talking about? And why are you here?” I ask still wide eye when I saw that his only wearing boxer shorts. He looks down on me and smirk, I too look on myself and realize that I was only on my boxers too.

I instantly covered my self with my blanket and my face flushed to what our situation is. I mean really? I can’t believe his really here and wearing only a thin peace of material on his lower part.

He just stand rubbing his eyes then lay down again on my bed. He tried to get my blanket for him to cover but I didn’t let him. So he face me up and forcefully lay me down together with him and cuddle next to me. Hugging me with both his arms and feet.

“Off, Get off me Bane.” I said but he still didn’t let me.

“I’m cold Gab, you didn’t want to give me your blanket so I’ll cuddle to you for warmth.” He said still closed eyes.

Shadow came to us, I mean me and cuddle too at my side, talk about getting squished. I saw Bane open one of his eyes and smirk at shadow.

“Come on you two.” But the two just lay there innocently especially the big guy.

Bane removes his feet on me when he feels that I’m not going away. So I lay there together with the two lycans. I rub shadows fur seeing his still sleeping and Bane hugging me from behind.

“He’s really fond of you.” Bane said behind me, looking at shadow and snuggling his face closer to my neck.

“I wonder why. I always keep on questioning that myself.” I said, and shadow would whimper that he would snuggle closer to me.

“Maybe he reminds you of someone.” Bane said.

“I guess, but why didn’t his father or someone from his clan find him?” Bane just shrugs and held me closer to him.

“Or maybe because you smell good.” He said smelling my neck. I blush and ignored what he said.

“Why are you here anyway? And why are you at my room?” I ask. Bane again pretends to sleep so I pinch his side.

“Ow, Ow.” He cried in pain while rubbing his side. “That hurts you know” he said.

I just rolled my eyes and pout. I was shock when he quickly kisses me on my lips while pouting. I look at him still shock and he smirk.

“What’s that for?” I ask. He just mess my hair and he stands up.

“You just look cute when you pout that I can’t help but want to kiss you instantly.” he said smiling at me.

“Whatever. Just tell me why you’re here or I’ll pinch you again.” I said and he cringes.

“Ok, ok. Just don’t pinch me again, it still hurts.” He said while rubbing the part where I pinch him.

“It’s because I still wants to have time with you, after a moment on the road back at home I turn around, but your house was already close and all the lights were off. So I sneak on the back door.”

“What? You sneak of the backdoor? Wasn’t it lock?” I ask.

“Yes. That’s why I have to break a glass on the side just to make it open.” He said smiling.

“You w-what?” I ask. Then he repeats what he said that I again pinch him.

“Ow. Are you a sadist or something?” he said playfully joking while smirking widely.

“WHAT? I am not you jerk.” I said that earn him a slap on his upper arm.

“Ow.” He look at me smiling still.. Ugh.. His annoying.

“What would my grandparents say to me if they found that out? Huh?” I said angrily.

“No worries, they already knew and I’ll fix that one later, but for now--” he said leaning on trapping me on the bed.

“What?” My eyes widen when he leans closer to me, then glad that shadow barked at us. We both look down on him and Bane scratch his head and move away.

“Talk about some privacy” Bane said to himself.

Shadows instantly jumps on my lap and snuggles to me. I laugh at Bane and glad that shadow comes to my rescue.

“Hahaha, guess you have to fix that now Bane” I said. He nods and wears his pants that lay on the floor.

“I guess the payment would be later then?” he said and kisses me before running off downstairs, laughing. I blushed at what he did.

I grab Banes shirt that lay on the floor. That guy really has no shame. I joke to myself seeing how I always seen Bane shirtless. I came out of the room and shadow following me and before I pass Jade room she burst into her door rubbing her eyes and saw me and shadow.

“Good morning Gab” she said, I smiled and patted her head.

“Good morning too Jade. Let’s get you down so we can already eat.” I said and grabbing her small hand. She nods and before we could get down the stairs we heard pounding at the backdoor. I wonder why grandpa let him do anything in this house, I guess they accepted him.

Jade and shadow runs backdoor and saw Bane working on the door.

“Good morning Jade.” Bane said seeing my sister.

“Good morning too.” Jade said blushing and coming to my back. I just laugh. Bane finished and came to us.

“You forgot this.” I said handing him his shirt. He smiled grabbing it and putting in on.

Grandma called for us and I told Bane to come inside. We saw grandpa already on his seat, reading newspapers. He looks up and saw us. We sat down on our seats, Bane sat beside me and shadow came up on my lap. Reaching for the table wagging his tail.

Bane smiled to us and he rubs shadows head. The pup looks at him and barks playfully.

“So Bane how’s the stay?” grandpa ask eyeing him that I burst the water that I’ve drink. That I earn a scold from my grandma, Jade and Bane laughs at me.

“Great sir. I have a good sleep, although someone was being so cuddly when he sleeps.” He said that I eyed him dangerously.

What? He’ll pay for it later, I laugh in my mind evilly.

I look up when I saw all of them watching Bane putting food in my plate, again.

“Hey, I can do it Bane. Don’t treat me like a girl here.” I said gritting my teeth at him. He just smirks and sat back to his seat after he finished putting it on my plate.

“Oh let him Gab, Isn’t he nice? He’s such a gentleman.” said grandma. I can’t believe this, even them was ok with Bane treating me like a girl, for goodness sake I’m still a guy I can handle it myself.

Bane smirks and mess my hair. So I tried to pinch his side again but he avoided it instantly.

“No babe, I don’t want to get pinch again.” he said laughing.

“Then stop doing this.” I said getting annoyed already.

“You’re really cute when your face was flushed even with anger.” He said teasingly and smirking at me. That’s it.

My grandparents and Jade burst out laughing. I mean even grandpa? Really now.

“You two are cute, reminds me of myself and Tom.” Grandma said leaning at grandpa’s side. I rolled my eyes and on them and starts on my meal.

Bane tries to put another when I finish it but I told him that I’m already full and just threatened him that if he’ll do it I’d kick him off on this house.

We finish our meal and grandpa said that he has something important to tell me so I followed him to the living room, after I finished cleaning the table and helping grandma while Jade and Bane played with shadow outside.

“Your parents are coming home Gab.” He first said.

“What?! When? I though they’ll be back soon?” I said.

“They’ll be back along with some of our relatives, as I’ve told you lately were having a family reunion here, they’ll be back the day after tomorrow that’s why I need you to tell them about you and Bane.”

“What? Grandpa I can’t do it. I don’t even know how to say it to them. Its not that I could say it bluntly or they’ll panic.”

“That’s why I want you to tell them sooner and to get on with it. You and Jade will be back home soon with your parents, what would Bane feels if he’ll know that your going away from him? He will not be happy about it that’s why I want you to talk to your parents and tell them all of this and also to Bane about your vacation here.” Grandpa said.

His right Bane would totally be depress if I’ll just left without even telling him about it. I signed and Grandpa pats my shoulder. “It’ll be fine Gab, just tell him ok?. I’ll help you with your parents.” Grandpa said and walks away. Leaving me thinking on how to say it to my parents and especially Bane.
