Chapter 19

heres chapter nineteen..ahaha..the start was a bit boring but in the end its good..^^..

CHAPTER 19

Mom called me after an hour of just in my room playing with shadow. I went out and heard chatting downstairs and when I came down together with shadow, I saw people inside. I saw my aunts chatting together, some greeted me others just look at me and then do whatever they are doing I even saw some of my cousins.

I saw mom together with aunt Mary and grandma cooking at the kitchen and my other uncles was outside setting the tables and chairs while dad was grilling on the side.

But then shadow wags his body away from me and he came to my dad. He barks at him and dad looks down.

“We’ll hello there shadow.” Are you hungry already?” He laughs. Shadow just barks again wagging his tail on him. Guess he likes dad seeing how he became playful on him.

I pick shadow up and dad just continues grilling the meats, ignoring me. I tried to talk but instead I just remained silent, I signed and walk away bringing shadow away from him. I don’t want him to get angry now because of me on this day.

I saw the two jerks talking and laughing, when they saw me they’ll just look away to me and continued talking again. Glad they now know the fury that’s inside of me. I laugh to myself upon saying that on my head.

The rest of the day was playing with Jade and the small kids including the twins together with shadow and after I hang out with some of my cousins. I like to hang out to them rather than at Pat and Vincent they’re just so much annoying and well jerks.

Mom told me that grandpa went out meeting some friends, guess he’s meeting Lucas and talks about something.

Everyone was happy meeting each other again we usually do this every year to update personally on each other and keeping the family closer and for cousins to have bonds to one another, like with me, Pat and Vincent. They know mostly about me. That’s why they were always teasing me since I was only the gay kid in the family.

Grandpa was already here and was talking to some of my uncles. He notices me and came over to me. “How was meeting your cousins again Gab?” he asks.

“It’s fine grandpa except for the two jerks that ruin my day first.” I said bitterly, he just laughs.

“I guess they just missed you Gab, and they just want you know you better.”

“They know me already grandpa.” I said “grandpa do you meet up with Lucas?” I said changing the topic.

He nods and pats my head. “Don’t worry I already talk to the man. He already knows about it and I just said that your father just needs more time concerning you and Bane.” I nod and grandpa stood up when aunt Mary called him.

I walk to the back door. I just want to be alone right now. I sat on a chair and just look at the sky resting my head on the chair. And then I heard someone on my walking behind me. I look back and saw that it was Patrick. I instantly rub my temples. "Here we go again I cant even have a minute outside." I said to myself.

“So it’s true then? Your mom told my mom already about this boyfriend of yours but uncle Adam won’t accept him? Was his name’s Bane?” Pat ask sitting beside me.

“What do you want Pat? I’m not in the mood to get mad. And don’t listen to peoples chat if you don’t know anything.” He shook his head and smirk.

“Don’t worry I’m not here to mess with you Gab, I’m here to apologize.” He said.

“That’s ok. But please don’t do that to shadow again.” I said eyeing him dangerously. Speaking of shadow he was together with Jade eating together with her.

“The pup? Ok. But tell me. Why does uncle don’t want this boy to you?” He asks.

“Why are you asking?” I ask in return. He just shook his head and put a hand on my shoulder.

“Come on cuz just tell me I’m just curious about this guy. And I don’t want him to mess with my cousin you know.” I laugh at him and he smirk.

“Why are you suddenly being good to me? Was my dad asked you about this?” I ask eyeing him.

“Oh. Don’t be mean. I’m just trying to protect you too. Uncle was just worried you know.” Even if he and Vincent were like that they really care about me. I remembered when we were small when I was bullied in our school they threatened the boy that does that to me when they saw me cry again and they put the sense in him. I laugh remembering that moment and the boy stop bullying me. Patrick patted my head I look at him smirking at me.

We heard a branch break and we look at the tree on the forest and saw Bane emerge out of it. He looks angry, he came to us and Pat was still holding me on my shoulder. I tried to get it away but he just grip on it tighter.

Bane look at him and then to my shoulder and finally in me. “Get your hands off him.” He said with gritted teeth but Pat just smirk, we stand up and I struggled to get free but he didn’t let me. Panic was starting to set on me when Bane pulled me away from him. Pat was about to grab me when Bane punched him in the face.

Pat stumbled down and blood poured on his lips, knowing that I tried to get to him but Bane pulled me away. I look at him and see anger was still on him yet sadness.

“Who’s that bastard Gab? Ugh. You punch hard man.” Pat said angrily. Bane was about to punch him again but I quickly went in between them, luckily he stop after seeing me.

“Why did you have to punch him?” I said angrily at Bane.

“And now you’re protecting this dude after he puts his arms on you?” Bane said. I look at him dumbfounded and Pat laughs on Bane’s outburst.

“Hahaha. So you’re the boyfriend? Man. You have one overprotective bastard here Gab.” Said Pat, I just laugh slightly at him while Bane was clueless on us.

I pulled Bane’s arm and introduce him to Patrick. He rubs his head and apologizes to Patrick.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know that your Gab’s cousin. I really--”

“Don’t worry about it man, Gees my lips sting on your punch. This is the first time that I’ve been punch hard like that.” He said. I laugh.

“Well that’s your punishment for fooling around on me and shadow earlier.” I said smugly. He gasped and Bane looks at us. I smiled to him and he smirk.

I excused myself going inside getting the ice bag and first aid kit for Pats broken lip. When I return I saw them laughing but then Pat winced at doing it. He instantly grabs the ice bag on my hand and instantly puts it on his lip. I then hand him the kit and help him tend the wound.

I sat beside Bane and he instantly wraps his arms around my waist and nuzzled on my hair. Pat smirks but failed and hissed on his lip again.

“So what are you going to do now Gab? Your father was against you and Bane here. What would you do?” Pat asks to me. I open my mouth to answer but Bane beats me to it.

“If he won’t accept me and Gab then I will take him away from this place.” He said sternly. I just lower my head and snuggle closer to him.

“Gees man, I don’t know about that, uncle would definitely get mad if you do that, besides aren’t you scared of him?” he asks again. Bane just shook his head.

“No! I’ll be more afraid if he would take Gab away.” I look at him and blush when he said that to Pat.

“Guess you really love him huh?” Pat asks to him. He nods and smiled at me.

“Yes. I love him more than he ever know.” He said that made my heart beat faster and felt butterflies on my stomach upon hearing that.

“Nice.” he looks on my back. “What do you think uncle?” He said smirking a little.

I look back and saw dad looking at us he came forward and Bane and I stand. Dad’s face was blank upon hearing that. I look at Pat and he smiled.

“What happen to your face Pat?” dad said looking over at him.

“Some over protective bastard just punch my face for thinking I was stealing something from him.” He said smirking at Bane but again wince on pain. Bane just shrugs it off.

Dad nods and signed. “I guess I cannot really help it then?” he said to Bane who nods.

He signed again and looks at me smiling sadly. “Guess I can’t change your decision?” he asks to me.

I nod and smiled sadly on him too. I pull out of Bane’s side and hug my dad.

“Your mother talk to me about this too and seeing that boy said that in other people without hesitation means he truly means it.” dad said. I sob on his shoulder and dad pulled me away in front of him. I look down but he lifts my chin up and smiled to me clearing the tears in my eyes.

He looks at Bane seriously. “Promise me this, you will protect him and care for him. I don’t want my son come here crying over you doing something that hurts him or I will hunt you down.” said dad sternly.

Bane nods and came over to me grabbing me on my shoulder. “I promise sir. I will not let him cry. I promise you that.” He said sternly too.

“What are you two talking about? Don’t treat me a girl dad and you too Bane. Gees. I fell ashamed right now” I said blushing hard against my tears.

Then Patrick laughs hard on what he witnesses and hearing our conversation and wince cussing to himself and Bane for punching him. We laugh and even dad then mom came and saw us. She saw dad and smiled to him, dad hugs her when she came to his side.

She saw Bane and welcome him hugging him too. “We better go inside your grandpa was looking for you Gab, come along too Bane” she said to Bane who nods and walks with me inside. “Patrick what happen to your lip?” she asks to him. He just rolled his eyes. And I told mom about it knowing that Pat was aching about his lip.
