Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

"Gab get down here already, were ready to go hunny." mom said to me.

I don't feel like going that's why I don't like to go down but mom and dad always pushes me to go and telling me things like I should go outside sometimes enjoying the beautiful things outside.

Ugh, talk about beautiful I'm only enjoying myself indoors by watching my favorite TV show's, cartoon's, talking to my bestfriend on the phone or in the net if they we all were online or when they visits me or vice versa, reading my favorite novel's, that's my life indoors.

But outside is like I feel that I it's boring and well I don't feel outside seeing people.

After getting my things ready I went down I really don't have any choice.

And seeing everyone already prepared to go.

Then Jade went beside me "gee.. gab your such a girl taking to long to prepare yourself."

Ugh. she's starting to piss me off now, why does she have to add on my irritation? so I just ignored her and ruffle her hair to annoy her too cause she don't like her hair to get messy.

And that's how we enjoyed the ride all the way to our grandparents, always messing around each other but later we were playing and laughing to ourselves and mom scolding us specially me because I'm the oldest yet I act like a like a kid too.

Say what? I'm only just 17 I'm not yet that old and I'm not a kill joy like them.

After a long wait and drive we finally made it to our grandparents house its a big house cause we always gather our celebrations here, specially if we have a family reunion.

Yet I'm still scared here cause its near the forest and when I was a kid my uncle always scared me saying that there were werewolves and monster's living deep within the wood's like they love scaring the sh*t out of me and I would cry and they'll laugh.

Then my mother would say that there was also fairies and unicorns there then she will eyed my uncles and scolding them not to scared children like that.

When I knock on the door, because dad was getting our stuff and mom telling Jade to not be a burden to our grandparents cause they were old.

After knocking the third time, I was greeted by my grandma, she notices me then she smile and hugged me.

"my dear boy I miss you so much, you totally grown up" I smiled and return the hug

"I miss you to grandma, how have you been?" I ask then she pulled away from me then came grandpa, he smiled and I hugged him too.

My parents and Jade came and we all entered their house and I never thought that my grandma would cook so much food, after were all sited we started chatting specially my parents and grandparents saying how they remembered there old times when my mom was young.

Remembering old times cause my grandparents were from my mother's side.

I finish my meal and excused myself to get ready for bed, I already know my room, after cleaning myself I get my things and putting them on each cabinet.

My parents will go tomorrow cause its already late and they will going back here in.. I don't know when..

"I can't sleep" I said to myself after a long time laying in bed and I finish chatting with Anna and Tina and I feel envy to them cause they were having fun on there vacation.

Ugh. that's why I cant sleep thinking about how they enjoy themselves unlike me.

That's why I just count a number of lambs thinking I would be sleepy but it didn't work.

I get up, its already midnight and everyone was asleep already, mom and dad sleep with Jade tonight and the next evening she will be sleeping with my grandparents.

Ugh. Thinking that they were already sleeping and I'm here wide awake, I hate myself.

So I went downstairs, I think a glass of milk will get the sleep within me.

After having my drink a hear a ruffling noise outside, so the curious me decided to have a look having a half glass of milk with me.

Getting nearer the backdoor I heard the ruffling got louder and I see a dark shade of shadow near the edge of the wall and when I reach and peek to it, I was shock to saw a puppy, a black pup with a shade of gray along its body with blue eyes, it was looking at me like analyzing me.

It came closer and started to wag its tail and rubbing its head on my ankle.

I find it cute and I bent down and rub its head, it licks my hand, which tickled me.

"hi there little pup, are you lost?" I ask, not thinking that I was talking with a dog but suddenly it bark while wagging its tail excitedly like it understand me and it bark again like it wants something and that's when I suddenly remembered that I have something I have.

I put down the glass of milk and that's when the puppy began to lick and drink my milk.

It's cute while its drinking that's why I cant help myself rubbing its fur and smiling to it.

I didn't think that I was outside in the middle of the night with a pup, I just enjoyed the company of it to see how cute it was, then after finishing drinking my milk it came closer and rub its body again.

I rub its fur then it suddenly lay down on my feet seeking warmth then it closes its eyes.

I guess it wants to sleep "wow talking about how the milk will let get you sleepy when you cant sleep, I guess its true then."

Without second thought I pick the cute pup, its already sleeping, cuddling closer to me when I pick it up.

I went inside and close the door. When I hear howling outside I shivered on the sound that's why I lock the door quickly.

It scared me remembering what my uncle said to me bout werewolves in the forest.

I went upstairs and put the pup in my bed with me, it looked peacefully sleeping curled into a ball, I just join him, laying down I rub its fur until I finally felt sleepy.

I guess this pup was lucky when I found it I don't want to think what will happen if I didn't find it there were wild animals outside, they might hurt it or even killed it then it struck me where does its owner? and why was it outside my grandmaparents house?

I just leave that question for tomorrow cause I want to sleep, after closing my eyes a howl was suddenly heard, its like closer but its not that scary anymore.

Like I don't know, kind of, I feel relieved then that's when everything went black and I drifted in the world of darkness and I finally slept..
