Chapter 3

having difficulties on the character listing..but heres chapter 3 i hope you'll like this one..^^..

CHAPTER 3

I wake up in the morning hugging something so soft and warn while it just cuddle also to me and after a while I feel my face getting lick all over until I open my eyes and see a black and gray pup wagging its tail, looking at me it bark and I smiled on it.

I hug it again cuddling it cause its like a living stuff toy it bark again remembering that its a living thing I pulled away on it laughing and I started to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth it followed me until I finish brushing my teeth.

I sat on the bed and checking my phone if one of my bestfriends even texted me, but nothing, maybe they are still sleeping, then the pup rub its body in my ankle, I pick it up and smiling to it rubbing its fur.

I laid it in my lap and an idea came on my mind, I pick up the pup and we came in the bathroom. Grabbing a soap and I got myself on the shower together with the pup then I started cleaning it up and it then startled on my grip when the water was being poured on it.

But after a while it relax and I started to soap its body then after I poured water on it.

After getting the pup clean I started to clean dry him with a smaller towel but it wiggled its body cleaning his fur.

Lucky me I got splashed with its water so I grab him up after drying him, placed him outside the bathroom and I take a bath myself too, it didn’t take long before I’m done, I rub the towel in my body drying myself.

When I came back to my room to get dressed, A knock was heard on my door saying that were having a breakfast already and our parents will be leaving after.

I came down and noticed the pup following me.

"A puppy" Jade suddenly said while pointing at my direction, I look down and see the pup wagging its tail at me and watching me playfully when I stop walking.

Jade suddenly came to me and closer to the pup, she smile looking at it like its a toy or something, a cute toy I guess.

"can I touch it?" she ask.

Mom and dad suddenly came behind her.

"Gab where did you find this dog? it could bite you and your sister" mom said

"honey don’t be exaggerated its just a pup and its too small to even bite and look at it, it doesn’t look harmful to the children" dad said to mom.

Mom just shrugged it off then my grandparents came and we started eating our breakfast after both of them ask if that’s my dog, I just nodded.

Well I don’t think that it has an owner right? Even if it have one then I would gladly hand it over.

"Gab what’s its name? and is it a female or a male puppy?" Jade ask me while the older people talk.

"it didn’t have a name yet and its a male pup" I said then I see sparkle in her eyes, like I said something she wanted to hear.

"I want to name him” she said.

"ow.. sure.. what do you want to call him?" then she place a finger on her chin, thinking what’s a good name for this pup.

"what about shadow?" she finally ask.

"shadow? haha.. sure.. I guess it suited him since the color of its fur was mostly black" she smile and handed the pup a milk.

After having breakfast Jade and I went outside to play with shadow and saw mom and dad ready to leave.

They walk over to us together with my grandparents.

"Gab.. Jade.. be very good to your grandma and pa ok?" mom said, Jade and I nooded at the same time.

She smiled and hug us both. "Will come back soon and go back home ok? for now your grandparents will take care both of you so don’t give them any headache, ok?

She hugs us both. “Gab I expect you on this one, and always look out to your sister ok?” dad said and hug us both too, they thank our grandparents and hug them.

We wave them goodbye and they’re off.

Jade looked down and suddenly she became quiet, I knew she was sad that our parents leaving without us since she always wants us always together with them.

My grandma notices that and she hug my little sister. "don’t be sad Jade, they’ll come back soon, just enjoy your stay here ok? You’ll enjoy here eventually.” grandma said.

Jade nodded wiping her eyes, and shadow then came and started circling us barking to us, Jade smiled and started to play with him and me following them while my grandparents went inside after saying both of us not wander too far.

they played and I occasionally join them and laugh with Jade..

It’s nearly lunch time when my grandma called for us, she told us that the festival will held tomorrow and we will going to see it, its not new to me since I’ve already saw it a few years back, but jade doesn’t, I guess she doesn’t remember since she’s only small then.

The day ending up with playing and helping our grandparents in household chores.

I mean only me cause the two little animals like to play a lot but shadow would just like to always come to me, wanting my attention and I gladly play with him a little then Jade would take him away and they started to play again and my grandma love watching Jade play with shadow.

She called us when it started almost getting dark and by the time we finished eating dinner I gladly take the responsibility on washing the dishes, grandma told us to get a sleep cause we need it for tomorrow’s event.

Once I clean shadow and myself we came to bed and I cuddled him and I drifted to sleep.

I wake up in the middle of the night when I hear a noise downstairs and find that shadow was not in bed.

I rub my eyes to clear my vision and went downstairs looking for him inside the house but nothing.

And lastly, I came in the backdoor calling for shadow but still no response, I look outside the house near the forest.

I hear a shuffling sound again in the side of the wall, I came and saw shadow there wagging its tail.

I called him and he look at me and came toward me, I kneeled down and rub its head.

"how did you ended up here?" I ask, and it bark, a howl was heard and shadow began to run to the forest.

Panic erupted me for the pup cause its dangerous there thinking about a howl of an animal.

I began following on his direction on the forest, I didn’t think that its dangerous also for me to go out in the middle of the night in an unknown forest just behind a house. I followed him but I can’t find him, I was in the forest when I heard the bushes move on the side.

"shadow?" I said, it didn’t bark like it usually do when I called him and I began to panic when I see a large black wolf emerge in the darkness.

I shivered on the sight of it and panic again erupted me when it started to get closer to me, I stiffen and I didn’t try to move even a muscle, it begun circling me like its analyzing every inch of my body, then I came to my senses.

I don’t want to be a food for a wolf and before I could run the wolf suddenly jump and held me to my place I begun to scream and wiggled my body out of its grasp then it showed its large teeth and my eyes widen when it started to get closer to my face.

This beast is going to snap my neck and kill me, my mind is telling me so I close my eyes embracing myself with the death upon me.

But I was even more shock when it started to lick me and nuzzled my ear it tickles so I gently push its head back and it removed my grasp in me, I stand up yet feel small on how the wolf stood cause its way too biger for an ordinary wolf you saw in pictures and videos.

Then it howled and begun to walk away from me, It looked back and I think I saw it smirk, then it jump right in the darkness of the forest.

I walk back towards home remembering the large wolf, I feel a safe & warm feeling about that wolf like its totally harmless, then before I came outside the forest I saw shadow in the backdoor laying down.

I guess he heard me and look up, came to me wagging its tail, I pulled him up and it begun to form a ball, sleeping in my arms.

Gees.. I didn’t think that this pup would give me a heart attack if he didn’t come jumping to the forest I wouldn’t have come face to face with that large wolf.

After closing and locking the door I pulled him down in my bed and I lay down and cuddle shadow to me, he move closer and that's how I begun to drift on the world of slumber, but like last night I heard a howl again and feel the same thing, before I slept together with shadow.
