Chapter sixteen.

ZANDER.

I stayed with Vincent all night last night. Just as he asked. Now, I'm making him breakfast, because I still need to have a small chat with him.

I could hear his soft, quiet footsteps padding down the stairs. I smiled softly. He's wearing an adorable outfit with a blankie in his arms.

"Good Morning, Vincent!" I said cheerily and he nodded a little. "I made breakfast." I said with a sweet tone and he hummed in response.

"Thank you." He said with a soft, sleepy tone. I place down a plate of pancakes in front of him.

Once we finished eating, I told Vincent I needed to speak with him. He looked quite anxious, so I made sure to reassure him that it was nothing bad and that it was only about punishments and what I can and can't do for them.

"You actually care about how you punish me.?" My boy asked with a confused, but slightly happy tone. "Of course I do! You have no idea how much I care for you.." I said and he smiled a little. It made my heart melt, he's so cute.

"If you feel uncomfortable at any point, don't be afraid to tell me. Alright?" I said so he understands that he can always be honest with me and trust me. Vincent nods.

We talk about boundaries and what he's okay with. He's okay with time outs, early bed, no sweets and no electronics, but he's not okay with anything that could cause him physical pain. After he tells me this he apologises. I hug him and tell him that there is nothing he has to apologise for, I made sure to reassure Vincent, he should know that I'll never be mad at him for his boundaries.

Once we've finished talking about it, I tell him that we are going out later with Sebastian and he rolls his eyes. "Link and Jacob are also joining us."

VINCENT

Once we go over that stuff about punishments, Zander tells me that we are going out later with Link, Jacob and (unfortunately) Sebastian. "Does Sebastian have to come with us?" I say with a slight whine in my voice. "Yes, he needs to get out the house more." Zander says. "So no complaining because I'm sure Jacob and Link don't want to hear you two bickering the whole car ride." I roll my eyes at his words. He's acting like we bicker all the time. We don't, do we?

Zander then says he is going to start getting ready and if I need anything he'll be in his room. I nod and go outside to the back garden. I lean against the wall, and light a cigarette. I sigh and breathe in the intoxicating smoke, I then blow it out watching as it rises into the air. I take another drag.

A little later, I put the cigarette out and flick it away from me. I go inside and go up to my room. I then get in the shower, washing my hair and body. I avoid looking at the mirror, not wanting to see the disgusting scars of my past that fester on my body. I leave the bathroom and go to my walk-in closet, where I find some clothes. I don't know where we're going so I message Link and he says he's wearing some shorts, an oversized hoodie, some socks and some converse.

I then look at what I have and I grab a jumper, some mom jeans, some socks and shoes. I put them all on and then dry my hair and style it.

(I FRICKING LOVE THIS OUTFIT. Why tf has the writing gone small from big. Idk what's happening but oh well.)

I straighten it out. Suddenly, Zander pops his head in. "Pack a bag for the day, just like a paci, your blanket, Marley. If you want, but I would recommend you do. Link and Jacob are downstairs by the way." He informs me and I nod. He then smiles softly at me and leaves.

I grab my dinosaur bag and open it, I put my  duck/bunny blanket in there, my favourite white paci in there, my Winnie the Pooh paci clip and of course, I carefully put Marley in there. I kiss her forehead and pat her head. I  close the bag up and turn the lights in my room off. I go downstairs and see Link and Jacob talking with Zander.

Link is wearing a white jumper with lots of different pastel cats on, some light blue denim shorts on, some cat socks on and cat converse. It seems I went for a dinosaur theme today and Link went for a cat theme.

Zander sees me and I sit next to him. Me and Link start talking. "I see you went for the theme of cats today." I tease and giggle, Link rolls his eyes. "And you went for dinosaurs." He says with a smile.

"I love your jumper, it's adorable." I compliment and he compliments my jumper. We continue talking about random things, suddenly I feel my bag open and I tense.

"Relax, Vincent. I'm putting a drink in your bag." Zander's soothing voice reassures and I relax. He zips the bag back up and sits back next to me.

"Where is Sebastian?" I hear Jacob ask Zander and I refrain from saying any snarky comment. "He's on his way." My caregiver says and I roll my eyes. "Can't we leave without him?" I sigh and Link laughs. Whilst Jacob and Zander don't look as impressed.

A few minutes later, a knock is heard at the door. Zander stands up and lets Sebastian in. When Sebastian walks in, I pretend to get scared and he rolls his eyes at me. "Still got this sassy fucker then?" Sebastian says with a scowl, "You're stuck with me now." I say with an antagonising grin. Sebastian is about to say something, but Zander cuts him off. "Don't start." He says in a stern tone.

Jacob stands up, so me and Link do. "Let's get going then." Jacob says and we are all soon outside in the..well it's not a car. It's like a camper van. Three seats in the front, and in the back 3 more seats, but more like two. The seats turn into a bed and there's a small kitchen in here. It's quite homey I like it. It also fits all of us.

Jacob, Zander and Sebastian are in the front, me and Link in the back. Jacob is driving.

About 10 minutes in, Link asks. "Are we there yet?" In a whiney voice, I giggle. "We haven't even been in the car for 15 minutes yet, buddy." Jacob says with a slight chuckle.

"How long is this gonna take?" I then ask and Zander goes on his phone for a second before responding. "About 2 hours."

"This better be worth it." Me and Link say at the same time, jokingly. "Where are we going?" I tilt my head.

"We're sending you away." Sebastian says, "Shut up, I didn't ask you." I say to him and he rolls his eyes. "Brat." Sebastian sneers. "Gremlin." I retaliate.

"Bitch." Sebastian says.

"Dickhead." I respond back with an edge to my voice.

"Twat."

"Prick.

It goes back and forth for about a minute, Jacob rolling his eyes, Link trying not to laugh and Zander fed up.

"Both of you, stop it. Every time you are around each other you always argue and nobody wants to hear it." Zander says with a stern voice and I huff and cross my arms.

"Awh, is the baby gonna cry?" Sebastian teases, "No, but you will be if you don't shut up." I threaten and Zander gives both of us a pointed look. Making us both go quiet.

Link looks over at me and lets out a small laugh and I roll my eyes. "Is he always like that?" Link asks quietly, "From the small amount of time I've known him, yes. Very annoying, isn't he?" I respond back, and Link chuckles a little.

The car ride goes on, with occasional talking and me and Link playing rock paper scissors and eye spy.

"Eye spy, with my little eye, something beginning with..D." Link says, his legs swinging a little.

After a lot of guesses, I huff and cross my arms. "I dunno.." I mutter, "You give up?" Link says with a proud grin and I nod.

"Dust!!" He announces and I glare. "Thats not fair! You can't see dust! It has to be something you see!" I say annoyed, "You can see dust when it's resting on something." Link says with a smug voice. "But there's no dust in here right now." I whine and Link sticks his tongue out at me.

I stick mine back out at him and we start arguing. Both of our caregivers try calming us down and try help us get along. Key word: try.

It takes half an hour until I can tolerate being around him and both our caregivers told us no more eye spy for the rest of the car ride.

So we spent the rest of the time, talking and nagging the 3 men in the front about how long it was taking and asking constantly if we were there yet..
