10- Star (pt.3)

LISA

I smile unconciously every time I think about Jennie, there is something in her that give me strength. I remember the other day when she stands beside me in front of the class, I somehow feels her presence make me feel at ease and she starts to make my heart thump everytime I see her. I know she's the one who asked our teacher to call my name during the lesson,but I didn't mind, it turns out pretty awesome.

But I'm not seeing her these few days, where is she?

"Hey Lisa.. " someone greet me and I was snapped, I look at the girl looking puzzled while pointing myself 'me? '. She nods in smile. "Hey.." I answer shyly, no one ever talk to me first in this whole 1 and a half year. "Do you mind if I sit here? " it's in the cafeteria and I just nod at her "I'm miyeon by the way, I've seen you sing.. You are a great singer" She start to talk with me. "N-no.. I'm still lacking, I need more practice, you guys are way better" it's true, I'm just an average compare to other trainees, what a shame..

"Hey.. Don't think low about yourself, you don't have to be embarrassed Lisa, you should show yourself more.. " I feel kinda relieved that someone is actually encouraging me to do more. "Thanks Miyeon.. You are so kind" I smile at her and she chuckles a bit. " oh, Im Miyeon by the way.. I'm here if you need help or company, let's be friend" She offers a hand shake and I gladly accept it with a wide smile. This is I feel more comfortable and happy while I'm here, I feel relieved that I made a friend.

"Well Lisa, see you later.. I have something to do, anyeong" she waves me good bye.

I think, I can do this.

I just need more confidence.

Where is Jennie by the way? I haven't seen her this whole day. I don't know but I miss her presence even she treats me coldly and she seems annoyed to me.

I start searching for her, to the vocal room.. No, she's not here..

Dance room? ....no, she's not here

Her piano room! I run like an excited little child who just saw her mommy..

But, no.. She's not here..

And the day goes just like that, with me.. Wondering where Jennie's current location. I'm on my bed, if only I get her phone number maybe I could ask her.. Aish, what are you thinking Lalisa, of course she wouldn't like that, who even want your number especially Jennie Kim..

I mentally laugh at myself.

Wait.. The dance practice room! Its 1:00am, maybe she's in there, I grabbed my sweater, wear in instant and immediately head towards to the dance room. A few step before I reach the door and I can hear a loud music escaping the room, like before.. The door is slightly opened. I peek inside.. And I was right! Jennie is dancing, I watch for awhile, I can see her passion while repeating the move over and over again.. I was mesmerized by the latter efforts.

She is glittering even with a flawed move.. But her passion covers it all, how is that even possible? She suddenly stop, and her gaze turn to...

Wait, is she watching me?! Whoops, I'm caught red handed.. I quickly turn my back and.. "Lalisa Manoban" her body is already behind my back, her cold voice send a chill on my back.. I stopped immediately and turn my head to her.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jennie cross her arms, Lisa remains silent watching the latter's glare. "Explanation please Lalisa" Jennie raises her brows, the Thai girl was about to lie but she think twice.. There is no excuse she could spit on since its 1:00am, who would dance at this hour? Except this girl who is standing infront of her.. She gulps hard. "I-i.. Was wondering where were you this few days so I thought you might be here, that's why I.. Went here, to find you.. " She lower her head down, accepting what ever mean words Jennie would throw to her.

"Get in" Lisa was surprised ' Woah.. She's not mad' She smiles sheepishly and follow the brunette from behind and a bit jumpy. "Sit" Jennie commands and she turns back the music continuing her practice. Lisa remains silent, she realizes that Jennie isn't that good in dancing, she barely catch the move and it's still have so many flaws, but she is passionate. Lisa sit still like an obedient little child waiting for her mother to buy her ice cream.

"You really enjoy my rigid move don't you? " Jennie voice out while taking the towel beside the Thai girl and start wiping the sweat on her body. "N-no.. I like seeing your dancing, you are covered with passion and I admire that.." her innocence made Jennie chuckles a bit"Well, this is the least I can do since I'm not talented in dancing unlike someone" Jennie smirk and stares at the Thai girl. "Wh-what do you mean? " Lisa feels nervous. "Don't you remember that you owed me a dance? " Lisa wasn't ready for this.

Jennie drag the Thai girl's hands to the dance floor and turn on the music. "Show me your move little star" Lisa was a bit hesitant, she looks at Jennie with a begging eyes and Jennie shook her head and ask her to continue. She sighed, a sign of defeat, she start to move.. A bit hesitant at first but immediately synced with the music. Jennie smiles looking at the talented girl, the Thai girl seems so immerse that she didn't even glance at Jennie.

The sways, the taps, the claps, wow ..her G Slide is smooth, and what the..she can twerk too.. Woah.. Her mom gave birth to a masterpiece.

And Jennie was left sinking in Lisa's dance till the Thai finish the last step, she turn to Jennie and she giggles when she sees the other girl's jaw dropped. She feel embarrassed and step slowly heading to Jennie.

"Am I good? " She rise her brows a few times. Well.. Jennie have no choice but to admit the Thai girl's astonishing dance. She nods slightly. A wide grin forms on Lisa's face and she feels proud of herself for being able to make Jennie impressed.

Lisa take a sit beside Jennie " Why haven't you show your talent in front of our fellow trainee? " Jennie ask as she doesn't know Lisa was too shy and unconfident with herself. "Well.. I don't think the other will be impressed with what I do because..you know.. I barely could sing.. " She answer shyly.

Jennie smiles at her when she hears Lisa's explanation. " Don't be Lisa.. You should proud of what you can do, and prove to other that you can learn to sing.. Well, not everyone were born with talent and some of them should learn, like me.. People thought I'm good in everything, well no.. I put a hard work on dancing because I'm not good with it. " A sad smile forms on her face, remembering her hardwork every night, perfecting the dancing move so that it can fulfill other's expectation.

Something hits Lisa, she realize something, she realize how much she adores the girl sitting in front of her. "I'll be like you" Lisa put on a wide smile then Jennie chuckles "You can't be like me if you keep your short hair" She ruffles the Thai girl's hair, it's true.. Lisa looks like a teenage boy with a baby face. Lisa blushes. "Then.. I will..keep a long hair just like you"

They smiles at each other, admiring each other. Little did they know, their future made the whole world chants their name.

Just like that, they shimmer as a rising star.
