KASHI VISHWANATH : TWO ECLIPSED HEARTS 💕
Hello everyone ð¤
I know the update came way too late this time, but it's all my college's fault. It's that time of the year when they suddenly remember that final exams are approaching, and they decide to pile us with all the pending assignments and practicals all at once. I actually finished writing this chapter on Wednesday, but I couldn't find the time to type and edit it until now. Thankfully, I finally got a day off to post it. I've already started working on the next chapter and will try my best to update it soon. In the meantime, please don't forget to vote and comment. It really motivates me to keep going.Alright, I've talked enough. Please enjoy the chapter.

Happy Reading!âºï¸â£ï¸
As Shalini and Kashi stepped into the grand dining room, Kashi once again found herself in awe. The majestic table, with its intricate carvings and the ornate chairs surrounding it in the dinning room, reminded her of the grandeur she had only read about in stories.
But what truly caught her attention was the scene before her, her mother, sitting among Vishwanath's family, smiling and laughing freely at Rudra's mischievous antics. It was such a heartwarming sight that tears welled up in Kashi's eyes.
Her Veer ji and his family had not only embraced her but also welcomed her mother as their own. The love and respect they showed Anjali were so pure and unconditional that Kashi felt a deep sense of gratitude. She silently thanked the Almighty for sending Veer ji into her life.
"Kashi" Shalini's gentle voice broke through her thoughts, and Kashi blinked, bringing her attention back to the present. Shalini then turned to the family and announced with a bright smile, "Today, my daughter has made this delicious gajar ka halwa for her pehli rasoi ritual. We all will have it before breakfast"
Kashi felt her cheeks flush as everyone turned their attention to her. Shalini continued, "And Vishu beta, you taste it first. Kashi had made it especially for you."
Kashi's eyes widened in surprise, and her blush deepened. She glanced at Vishwanath, who was already looking at her, a teasing smile playing on his lips. She quickly averted her gaze, her heart racing.
Vishwanath reached for a bowl of the halwa, his eyes never leaving Kashi's face. She shyly stole glances at him, nervously awaiting his reaction. Taking the first bite, Vishwanath's expression lit up, and he blurted out, "Umm....Wow, Kashi, Halwa bohot zyada tasty bana hai ( Umm....Wow, Kashi. This halwa is really very tasty.)
A radiant smile spread across Kashi's face, the satisfaction of hearing his praise shining in her eyes.
Shalini, clearly enjoying the moment, chimed in, "Vishu, make Kashi have a bite too. And Kashi, you should do the same for him."
Kashi hesitated, but under Shalini's insistence, she slowly walked over to where Vishwanath sat. He gently held out a spoonful of halwa towards her, his gaze tender. Kashi leaned in, her blush deepening as she took the bite. The sweetness of the halwa seemed to mirror the moment's warmth, making her heart flutter.
"Now, Kashi beta, it's your turn," Shalini urged with a smile.
Kashi hesitated again but picked up another spoonful. Her hands trembled slightly as she raised it towards Vishwanath. He leaned closer, taking the bite, his eyes locked on hers. For a moment, it felt like the world around them had disappeared, leaving only the two of them in that blissful bubble of love.
The spell was broken when Rudra's loud voice interrupted, "Maa, can I have the halwa now? I'm really hungry. Bhaiya and Bhabhi's romance has started, and I don't think they will ever finish."
Laughter erupted around the table, and Kashi quickly stepped back, her face glowing red with embarrassment.
-
Kashi moved to serve the halwa to everyone. She was about to take the tray, when Shalini gently stopped her. "Kashi beta, please sit and start eating. The helpers will serve the food. In our house, we all eat together at the same time."
Surprised by the thoughtfulness, Kashi hesitated. Her eyes suddenly met Vishwanath's, and with a subtle nod, he signaled her to sit next to him. She obliged, her heart swelling with lots of emotions.
As the helpers served the halwa, everyone took their first bites and immediately began praising Kashi for her cooking skills. Compliments came from all directions, making Kashi feel cherished in a way she had never experienced before.
Vishwanath leaned over slightly and said in a low voice, just loud enough for Kashi to hear, "Yeh sab tumhare haathon ka jaadu hai, wifey." (This is all magic of your hands, wifey) His words sent a flutter through her heart. She caught his gaze for a brief moment before quickly looking away, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink Vishwanath, however, didn't look away and allowed a small smile to play on his lips.
The breakfast was completed with smiles, laughter, and an unspoken connection between Kashi and Vishwanath that only they seemed to notice.
After breakfast, a helper walked in carrying a large velvet box. Shalini stood up gracefully and called Kashi over. "Kashi, come here, beta," she said warmly, her tone laced with affection. Curious, Kashi rose to her feet and approached Shalini.
"Ji Maa", Kashi said gently.
"Kashi beta," Shalini said, opening the box to reveal a stunning diamond necklace, "this is for you, from Rajendra and me."
Kashi hesitated, too overwhelmed and astonished by the lavish gift. "Maa, this is too much. I can't...."
"Beta, it's a blessing from your new family," Shalini said firmly. "You don't say no to blessings."
Kashi still looked unsure, her hands hesitating to touch the box. Shalini sighed with a soft smile and turned to Anjali. "Anjali ji, now you only explain to Kashi. She isn't listening to me."
Anjali nodded and added softly her voice was soft yet persuasive. "Kashi, accept it with gratitude. It's a symbol of their love and welcome for you. Sometimes, accepting a gift is as important as giving one."
Kashi looked between the two women, her heart swelling with emotion. After a brief pause, she finally nodded and murmured, "Thank you, Maa and Papa."
Vishwanath, standing in the background, observed the scene silently. His gaze softened as he noticed the mixture of hesitation and gratitude in Kashi's eyes, feeling a growing desire to protect the innocence and warmth she carried within her.
Shalini and Rajendra stepped forward with warm smiles, placing their hands gently on Kashi's head. "Stay blessed, beta," Shalini said, her voice filled with affection. "May happiness and love always surround you." Rajendra added with a quiet but heartfelt tone, "You have already brought warmth into this house, Kashi. We're grateful to have you here."
Kashi felt tears prick her eyes, overwhelmed by the genuine love and acceptance she was receiving, something she had longed for all her life.
As the moment settled, Raghavendra, who had been quietly observing, suddenly stood up, clearing his throat to catch everyone's attention, though there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes. In his hand, he held a sleek, gold diamond-studded Rolex watch that shimmered under the light in the box.
"This is from me, b...." He hesitated briefly before finishing, "Bhabhi."
"The halwa was nice," he added quickly, almost as if to deflect the attention, but his words carried a warmth that didn't go unnoticed.
Everyone exchanged smiles, deeply moved by Raghavendra's gesture. It was a big step for him, given his usually reserved and guarded nature. Shalini's heart swelled with hope as she watched her son make an effort to accept Kashi as part of their family.
"Thank you, Raghav bhaiya," Kashi said softly, her voice trembling slightly with emotion as she accepted the watch.
Raghavendra nodded, a small, almost invisible smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Though subtle, it was enough to show his quiet approval, and Kashi felt a wave of warmth from the gesture.
Next, Rudra stepped forward with a pair of elegant flower-shaped diamond studs. "Bhabhi, these are from me. Thank you so much for the lovely halwa. By the way, I usually stick to my diet, but from now on, every time you cook, that will be my cheat day."
Kashi couldn't help but laugh softly at his remark, the lightness in her heart spilling over into her expression.
"Thank you, Rudra" she said warmly, looking at him with genuine gratitude and smile. For the first time in her life, she felt truly welcomed ,cherished and loved.
Rudra, ever the mischief-maker, then turned to Vishwanath with a teasing grin. "Bhaiya, what about you? What did you get for Bhabhi? Or did you already gave it to her yesterday?"
Vishwanath, unbothered by the teasing, replied calmly, "It's a customized gift, Rudra. It's not ready yet, but she will get it by evening." His eyes met Kashi's as he spoke, his gaze filled with promise.
Shalini clapped her hands lightly, drawing everyone's attention. "Now that breakfast is over, let's move to the living room. It's time for the final and most interesting ritual of finding the ring."
Excitement buzzed through the air as everyone made their way to the living room, ready for the playful ritual that awaited.

The grand living room was alive with a warm, festive atmosphere as the family gathered for the next ritual. A large copper vessel filled with milk, rose petals, and floating marigolds sat atop an intricately designed silver plate, its fragrant aroma wafting through the air and adding to the charm of the beautifully decorated room. The soft glow of chandeliers reflected off the polished marble floor, creating an almost ethereal ambiance.
Kashi, seated beside Vishwanath on the central sofa, felt a mix of awe and nervousness. Her gaze flitted around the room, stealing glances at the grandeur of the house and the affectionate warmth of its people. Though her heart was still adjusting to the overwhelming change, the love and acceptance she had received this far filled her with a quiet sense of belonging.
Her mother, Anjali, sat at a little distance away in her wheelchair, her eyes moist with happiness as she watched the scene unfold with contentment, while Shalini, Rudra, Rajendra, and Raghavendra occupied adjacent sofas, their expressions radiating excitement.
Shalini's eyes twinkled with excitement as she began explaining the ritual. "Kashi, Vishu, this is a fun game where I'll drop a ring into this vessel. You both have to search for it and retrieve it. We'll play three rounds, and whoever finds the ring maximum times will be declared the winner."
She paused for dramatic effect, her smile turning playful. "It's often considered that whoever wins this game will have the authority and rule the marriage. But," she added with a mischievous glint in her eyes, "regardless of who wins, Vishu you will make Kashi wear the ring."
Kashi looked down shyly, her cheeks tinged with pink. Vishwanath leaned back slightly, a small, amused smile tugging at his lips, his gaze fixed on Kashi as if to say he already knew who the real winner was.
Before Shalini could continue, Rudra leaned forward with a teasing grin, his voice brimming with mischief. "Maa, I don't know who will win this game, but I can already tell that bhabhi will rule this marriage. Bhaiya has become a total gone case in front of her."
Laughter erupted around the room, with even Raghavendra allowing himself a faint smile. Kashi's blush deepened, and she stole a quick glance at her Veer ji, who shook his head lightly but didn't refute Rudra's claim.
Shalini and Rudra proudly announced they were on Kashi's side, while Rajendra declared his allegiance to Vishwanath. Raghavendra, though quiet, gave a small nod towards Vishwanath, signaling his support. Kashi's mother, however, smiled gently. "I'll cheer for both my children," she said warmly, making Kashi's heart swell with love.
Just as Shalini reached for the ring to drop it into the vessel, Vishwanath immediately said. "Wait a moment, Maa," he said, pulling out a small blue velvet box from his pocket.
Curiosity flickered across everyone's faces as he extended the box towards Shalini. "Maa, can you please use this ring instead?"
Shalini's curiosity piqued as she took the box from him and opened it. A collective "Wow" filled the room as the contents were revealed a stunning diamond ring with an intricate design that radiated elegance and sophistication.
Shalini's face lit up with delight. "Vishu, this ring is so beautiful! Your choice is impeccable," she exclaimed, holding the ring up for everyone to admire. The diamonds sparkled under the light, and the craftsmanship spoke volumes of the thought and care behind its selection.
Kashi's eyes widened in surprise, and she instinctively looked at Vishwanath, her heart skipping a beat as she recognized the ring it was the same one he had proposed to her with, back then her insecurities and fears had stopped her from accepting it. The intricate design, the subtle sparkle, and the emotions it carried all came rushing back, making her heart ache and swell at the same time.
Her gaze lifted to meet Vishwanath's, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. His dark eyes, filled with unspoken emotions, conveyed everything his unwavering love, his promise to always cherish her, and his determination to make her believe in their bond. The depth of his feelings was palpable, and she felt a lump rise in her throat as emotions overwhelmed her.
How beautiful the destiny was, Kashi thought, as realization struck her like a gentle wave. It had brought them in a full circle. The same ring she had hesitated to accept now lay before her, waiting to adorn her hand. But today was different. Today, she wasn't just the insecure girl unsure of her worth, she was his wife, his partner, someone who had grown in love and trust.
Tears pricked her eyes, and a soft smile graced her lips. She glanced back at the ring, her heart bursting with gratitude for the journey that had brought them here. Today, she would finally wear that ring, not just as a piece of jewelry, but as a symbol of their love, resilience, and the bond they had built together.
Vishwanath's lips curled into the faintest smile as if he could read her thoughts. For him, too, this moment was nothing short of perfection, an affirmation that their love had overcome every storm to shine brighter than ever.
Shalini's voice broke their spell. "Alright, let's begin." She dropped the ring into the vessel, and the game was underway.
In the first round, Vishwanath's long fingers quickly retrieved the ring. Rajendra and Raghavendra cheered enthusiastically, while Kashi pouted adorably, her lips forming a soft 'O.' Vishwanath couldn't help but chuckle at her expression, finding it irresistibly endearing.
Shalini dropped the ring for the second round, and this time, Rudra leaned in. "Come on, bhabhi! We need to win this!" he encouraged loudly. Kashi nodded, determination lighting up her features. But even as Vishwanath found the ring again, he hesitated. Seeing Kashi's cute pout, the way her brows furrowed in concentration and her earnest attempts to grab the ring, he decided to let her win as he gently pushed the ring towards her. That moment it hit him, Rudra had been right. No matter who won this game, Kashi, his queen, would always rule his heart.
Kashi's eyes widened in surprise as her fingers closed around the ring, and she lifted it out of the vessel. A radiant smile broke across her face, and Rudra and Shalini erupted in cheers. "That's my bhabhi" Rudra exclaimed, making Kashi giggle.
Vishwanath watched her, his heart swelling with warmth and affection. In that moment, he once again realized how deeply he had fallen for her, and how much she had become his everything.
Shalini clapped her hands together. "Ok now it's the final round. Both of you have won one round each, so whoever wins this one will be declared the winner." She said before dropping the ring into the vessel for the last time.
Kashi and Vishwanath began searching simultaneously, their hands moving through the milk and petals. Suddenly, their fingers collided. Their eyes met instantly, an electric moment passing between them. Kashi's cheeks turned crimson, she tried to pull her hand away, but Vishwanath instantly held it firmly, under the milk, his grip gentle but unyielding.
Her wide eyes pleaded with him. What are you doing? Everyone is watching. she silently asked through her eyes, her gaze darting towards the family. But Vishwanath only smirked, his eyes teasing. Let them watch, his expression seemed to say, as if he reveled in the moment, his confidence exuding from every inch of him.
He kept their hands moving in the vessel to avoid any suspicion, his fingers brushing hers in a way that sent jolts of warmth up her arm. Kashi's heart raced as she tried to free her hand, but he didn't relent, enjoying the playful tension between them.
It wasn't until Rudra's voice rang out, his playful tone cutting through the moment, "What's taking so long? Come on, bhabhi, find the ring quickly. We have to win" that Vishwanath finally released her hand, a flicker of amusement still in his eyes.
Kashi, flushed and still caught in the aftermath of the moment, quickly refocused on the game, her heart still pounding from the touch that felt more intimate than the game itself.
With synchronized movements, they both lifted the ring from the vessel, holding one side each. Cheers erupted around them, and Shalini declared, "Since both of you got the ring this time, it's a tie. This means there will be an equal partnership in your marriage equal love, equal respect."
The room filled with laughter and the sense of joy palpable. Rajendra added with a warm smile, "A perfect start to a beautiful journey ahead."
Vishwanath turned to Kashi, his expression softening as his gaze met hers. "Give me your hand," he said gently, his voice filled with tenderness.
In the background, loud hooting and cheers erupted from the family, their excitement bubbling over as they witnessed the beautiful moment between the newly wedded couple.
Her trembling hand met his warm one, and he carefully slid the ring onto her finger. The diamond sparkled brilliantly, but not more than the tears of joy shimmering in Kashi's eyes.
The hooting grew louder, but all Kashi could hear was the steady beat of her heart and the overwhelming emotion flooding her chest. It wasn't just the ring, but the promise it symbolized that made her feel protected and loved in a way she never had before.
Shalini then handed her another small velvet box. "Now, Kashi beta, it's your turn. This ring is for Vishu. I had it prepared so that we could complete your engagement ceremony today, in presence of everyone. Shalini had basically prepared two rings: one for Kashi that was about to be dropped into the vessel, but Vishwanath had replaced with his chosen ring, and the other was the one Kashi would now make him wear.
Kashi nodded, her heart racing, and then gently she opened the box to reveal a sleek platinum band with a subtle diamond accent. It was simple, elegant, and perfect in its own right. Her fingers trembled as she glanced at Vishwanath, silently asking for his hand.
Without a word, he extended it towards her, his smile reassuring. With steady hands, Kashi slid the ring onto his finger. The room erupted into applause, and even the helpers standing in the background couldn't help but smile at the beautiful couple. The moment was nothing short of magical.
As the applause died down, Rudra quipped, "Bhaiya, if you two keep looking at each other like this, we will need a separate ceremony just for your eye locks."
The room filled with laughter, sealing the ceremony with love and joy.

The family settled back into their seats. The joy in the air was still palpable, and a sense of fulfillment washed over everyone present. Rajendra, always the composed elder, announced, his voice commanding attention.
"Vishwa, Kashi beta," he began, looking at the couple with pride, "Rajpurohit ji
(Royal priest) has given us an auspicious date for the coronation ceremony. The day after tomorrow, we can hold the ceremony and officially announce Kashi as the Queen of Bundelkhand in front of the people and the media. And on the same day, we can also organize your reception to celebrate with everyone."
He paused, his eyes flicking between the two of them, as if seeking their approval. "Are you both okay with this arrangement?"
Vishwanath nodded thoughtfully, his gaze shifting to Kashi. Her cheeks were still flushed from the earlier ceremony, the weight of the moment slowly settling in. She seemed a little overwhelmed by the sudden announcement, her fingers lightly trembling around the ring he had just made her wear. His heart softened at the sight of her, and without hesitation, he leaned slightly closer, his voice gentle. "Kashi, is that alright with you? It's your day, and I want you to feel comfortable. If you need time or space, we can adjust things."
Kashi looked up at him, her heart warmed by his consideration. It was a huge change for her, from just being an ordinary girl to becoming the queen of one of the most prestigious royal families in India. She could feel the weight of everyone's expectations, the eyes of the world about to be upon her, and yet, in that moment, all she could focus on was Vishwanath's reassuring presence beside her.
A small, shy smile graced her lips as she met his gaze thankful for his patience and understanding .She nodded gently, her voice soft but clear, a mixture of nervousness and excitement threading through her words. "Ji, I'm ok with it" she replied, her heart racing, but there was a sense of hope, too. Despite the overwhelming change, she knew she was not alone. She would face this new chapter with him by her side.
Shalini clapped her hands together, her face lighting up with enthusiasm. "Ohh my God there is so much to do" she exclaimed, standing up with newfound energy. "We need to send out invites, plan the arrangements, finalize the decor, and prepare everything for both the coronation and the reception. It's going to be grand."
Rudra leaned back, smirking. "And let me guess, Maa, you will make us do all the running around?"
"Of course" Shalini quipped with a playful glare. "Rudra the least you can do is help your bhaiya and bhabhi for their big day."
As the discussion about the upcoming ceremonies continued, Shalini suddenly gasped, clapping a hand to her forehead. "Oh no, Kashi beta.We need to go shopping to decide your dresses for both the coronation and the reception. We don't have much time at all".
Her voice carried a mix of urgency and excitement as she turned to Rajendra with a mock glare. "Oh God, Rajendra, why didn't you tell me earlier? This is all your fault"
Rajendra's eyes widened in surprise, his hands going up defensively. "My fault? Shalini, how is it my fault? Rajpurohit Ji (Royal priest) just told me, and I came straight to inform you all".
Shalini huffed dramatically, crossing her arms. "It's still your fault somehow. You should have anticipated it earlier and informed me well in advance."
The playful bickering between the senior couple left everyone in the room grinning. Finally, unable to hold back any longer, the room erupted into laughter. The hearty chuckles of the younger generation mixed with the slightly exasperated but amused tones of Rajendra and Shalini, creating a moment of warmth and familial joy.
"Alright, alright," Rajendra conceded, his lips twitching with a smile. "It's my fault, and I will make sure I tell you about the future things in advance," he added with a playful tone. "Happy?" he asked, looking around the room, causing everyone to chuckle.
Shalini gave a triumphant nod, turning her attention back to Kashi. "Beta, tomorrow morning, we will go to the best designers. You must look stunning for both events" she declared, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
The room buzzed with lively chatter, as Shalini enthusiastically discussed various styles and colors, while the others pitched in their ideas. Kashi, still processing everything, couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by all the attention and planning. But beneath the flutter of nerves, she felt deeply touched by the family's genuine excitement and love. It was overwhelming, yes, but it also filled her heart with warmth. For the first time in her life, she wasn't alone in facing her future. She was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her and were thrilled to see her step into this new chapter.
Amidst the excitement, Vishwanath glanced at Kashi, who was quietly observing the familial banter with a big smile on her face. He reached for her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, silently conveying that he was with her every step of the way.
Kashi looked up at him, her eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and trust. She didn't need to say anything her expression said it all.
