-michelle xoxoxo

--------------------------------------------------

"I think she's waking up."

"Michelle... Michelle are okay? Can you open your eyes?"

"Come on, no one's fought in thirty minutes! Wake the fuck up, before I  pass the fuck out!"

"Rahab, shut the fuck up."

"No, you shut the fuck up, Belial."

"Let's not swear, please."

"Of course, Iaoel. My bad."

"Guys, now is seriously not the time for this."

"Guys, I'll legit pass the fuck out."

"No. One. Cares."

"Shut the fuck up, Samael."

"Well there you go, Rahab. We just started a fight survive on that while we deal with a more serious issue, whiny ass motherfucker."

"Let's settle this like gentleman. Fighting is never the answer."

"Like hell it is."

"Wait guys! I think her eyes fluttered."

I slowly opened my eyes, finding myself in the same white room I was in a couple of days ago, the back of my head and my upper back killing me. Slowly I took in my surroundings, wincing as light hit my eyes with a blinding force.

"Can someone put the fucking blinds down?" I mutter as I sat up, making Ariel immediately start walking towards the window to deal with the light. "Thank you," I mumbled once he shut it, feeling less pressure on my eyes and eyelids.

"So, do you remember anything, Michelle?" Cassie's said, making me stick my hand out to silence all of them.

"No, with all do respect, you guys are going to be answering the fucking questions this time. I'm sick of this shit. I'm not trained, don't really know what the fuck I am, and I'm pretty sure you guys still haven't told me who you guys are," I said seriously, my tone sharp. "So this is how it's going go. I ask questions and then you answer. Once I'm done asking, you can ask me whatever the fuck your hearts desire. Okay?" I said, making them all slowly nod, their faces showing mild shock.

"She can slip into a coma for days and then just wake up like a fucking spitfire? What is this?" Rahab scoffed, making turn and glare at him.

"Shut the fuck up, I said I'm the one asking the questions," I growled, making him raise his hands- and an eyebrow- in the air, before quieting down and letting me relax. "Now," I said calmly "what the fuck am I?"

"We don't kn-"

"I know," Samael said cutting off Cassiel sharply before turning to me. "Michelle, you are... supposed to be a myth."

"What the hell does that mean?" I asked, making him sigh and ruffle a hand through his hair.

"When I turned you, you were supposed to turn into a demon, but instead you became half-human and half-demon. Remember days ago when you were in this room, praying as you were being 'tortured'? Well, that was supposed to make you officially Hell's Purge. It was supposed to make you a heartless, merciless monster- sucking away at your soul until there was no human essence left in your body.

"But it, shockingly, didn't. And that's not supposed to happen, because no human is supposed to be that pure. No human should be good and pure enough to stop that mutation from happening," he said slowly, letting it all sink in. "But, back at the school, when Satan said he was going to cut off your wings-"

"WINGS?" all the guys here, besides Samael, yelled out at the same time. Samael and I decided to just ignore them.

"It reminded me that you also cried about the old woman and her death coming soon. Being Hell's Purge, you weren't supposed to care about her death. You wouldn't have felt anything towards it.

"It also reminded me that you've been getting the gifts quicker then thought of, and you've also been having a somewhat easy time controlling your demons," he said, tilting his head. "For instance; can you hear them right now in your head?"

I stopped a minute to see, before shaking my head, making him and everyone else shake their heads in disbelief. "No, I can't hear them at all. Why?" I asked, making all of the guys look to me.

"You aren't supposed to be able to do that," Iaoel said matter-of-factly, sighing as he sat down in the white chair that appeared out of nowhere behind him.

"You aren't supposed to have all those gifts, the wings, or the sympathetic and merciful emotions either," Ariel stated, making me furrow my eyebrows.

"So, what am I?" I asked nervously, making Iaoel, Belial, Rahab, Cassiel, and Ariel turn to Samael with curious looks.

"My guess," Samael said "is that you're either some hybrid fallen angel, a demon with angel wings, or... some type of copy of me, except in female form."

"Okay, whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa," I said slowly, eyes widening. I'm a second Grim Reaper? "Does that mean I'm immortal?"

"I have no clue, but I wouldn't bet my money on it if I were you," Samael replied, making me huff.

"Why is Satan after me, then?" I asked. "And who are those cloaks figures?"

"The 'cloaked figures' are the nobles. They're kind of like the second-in-line guys for the throne in each section of Hell... if that even makes sense to you," he said, making me slowly shake my head.

"Sorry, let me see if I get it. Do you mean to say that Hell is kind of like a continent with separate countries? And each country has a king, and those nobles are kinda like a cousin or something that takes over the throne if the monarch dies?" I asked, making him nod.

"Yeah, that's a pretty good way to think of it," Samael said, nodding. I shook my head, taking all of that information in.

"And what about the killing and capturing me part? Why's everyone so persistent about me? What was that black goo? Why do I have wings if I'm just another version of you?" I asked, scooting closer to them as I talked, the head and back aches gone.

"I honestly have no fucking clue what that black goo shit was and what they want with you," Samael said. "But, I do know why you have wings.

"You have wings, because you're now half angel, as well as half demon. you aren't human anymore," he said, making me snort. Me? Not human? Being a part of Heaven after all of this? He's kidding right?

"Well... Do you have wings?" I asked, making him nod.

"Yes. believe it or not I used to be an angel before I was this," he said, gesturing to his body.

"Okay," I said slowly, tilting my head. "And... What are you, exactly? Like, what's your history?" I asked, making him chuckle.

"Well, I was an angel that resided in seventh heaven, but I was the chief angel of the fifth heaven– the reason for this being the presence of the throne of glory in the fifth heaven," he stated, everything he said going through one ear and out the other. "I was part of the Heavenly host- which is a large army of angels-, but my group normally had to perform grim duties as a group.

"I was also one of the leaders of the angels who married the daughters of men, thus being partially responsible for the fall of the angels. Because of that I was punished and became the main archangel of death. I started to become known as a figure who's an accuser, seducer, and destroyer, and was regarded as both good and evil," he said, making my head hurt from all the information given to me.

"What else are you? The prince of demons?" I asked sarcastically, making him smirk.

"Yes," he answered, a Cheshire Cat grin spreading onto his face as I raised my eyebrows at him in disbelieve.

"Well, you've had an eventful past," I muttered, turning to the other guys. "How about you guys?" I asked, looking over to the other people around me. "Are you guys vampires or something?"

"No, dumbass, those don't exist," Rahab countered, making me roll my eyes.

"Succubusses exist, though. They're just very rare," Belial said, making me furrow my eyebrows. vampires are fake, but those are real? Whatever.

"Cassiel, Iaoel, and I are angels of God," Ariel said softly with a smile, my heart fluttering after he spoke to me.

Oh my gosh, what's going on with me?

"Rahab and I are fallen angels," Belial said, making me nod. "Rahab was punished into it, I was born into it."

"Born...?" I said, not knowing angels could give birth.

"Well... Not necessarily born. More like... Made, or created," Belial said, motioning with hands.

"Okay," I said slowly, making a mental note of making sure to research all of these guys on the Internet. "Do you guys have powers?" I asked, eager to see what they could do.

"Yes, we do, actually," Cassiel said calmly, making me grin.

"Cool! What can you do?" I asked with excitement, making them turn to Samael in suspicion.

"We'll show you later on," Ariel said cautiously as him and Samael exchanged looks as if they were sizing the other one up.

"Okay..." I said with furrowed eyebrows. What's up with those two, and why do they seem to have a problem with each other?

"We need to find out what's going on with you as soon as possible," Iaoel stated urgently after a minute of stared off into space, shaking his head as if waking up from a dream. "I'm not liking what I'm seeing in your future."

"My future?" I questioned, leaning more towards him. "What about it? What can you see?" I asked eagerly, wanting as many questions answered as possible.

"I'm not allowed to tell you," Iaoel said with pursed lips, making me sigh and lean back onto the bed. Of course he couldn't.

"But I can tell you a little bit about your past," Belial said, making Samael stiffen and Iaoel look at him with narrowed eyes.

"Really?" I asked slowly, looking at the two men's reactions to Belial's comment. There's no way those two are going to allow him to tell me anything.

"Yeah, I mean, doesn't she deserve to know how she got to this point?" Bell sighed out, looking at all of the guys. "It's not like she can time-travel."

"I agree," I said, crossing my arms. "At this point I feel like I deserve as many answers as I can get. I'm tired of shooting around in the dark."

"Michelle, we're doing this because we need to," Cassiel said softly, making a calmness come over my body without my permission, arms uncrossing. He's right. Maybe I just need to rela–

Oh no he fucking didn't.

"I'm done," I stated with a low growl as I stood up quickly and got into their faces, making all of the guys– even Samael– step back in shock. "I'm not letting any of you try to hypnotize me anymore. I can decide on my own and control my own fucking mind. I don't care if you are an angel, fallen angel, archangel, human, plant, or demon. Try to screw around with my mind and you'll be fucking punished for it."

"Michelle," Ariel said quietly, taking slow steps towards me as my fangs stared to unleash themselves. "Michelle, can we have a talk? Just you and me? Somewhere else?"

I stared at him blankly for a long time before pulling my claws back inside my hands and nodding, letting him grab my arm and drag me away from the room.
