Feng Yunsheng glanced at him briefly. “Is Mobai inside?”

“Yes, His Highness is in the study.” Shui Jue answered with some hesitation. He thought she felt rather cold and distant.

Without looking at him again, Feng Yunsheng went into the study and saw Si Mobai writing at his desk. She smiled and called out to him softly and tenderly, “Mobai.”

Although she looked very similar to Feng Tianlan, her original voice was different. So, for this to be successful, she had been imitating and practicing to sound like Feng Tianlan. At this point, her voice was almost like Feng Tianlan’s voice.

Hearing his name, Si Mobai looked towards the source. He was surprised at first, but his expression turned cold immediately. Who’s this person, impersonating Lan’er and barging into his study like that?

He removed the jade hairpin from her hair and took a closer look at it. He heaved a sigh of relief when he realized it wasn’t the one he gave to Lan’er.

“Mobai, what did I do wrong? Why are you doing this to me? I was only away for a while and you’ve already fallen in love with someone else? Why do you want to kill me?” Feng Yunsheng looked at Si Mobai angrily with an expression full of grievance as if looking at a heartless man.

She didn’t believe that Si Mobai would find out that she was not Feng Tianlan because other than her voice and actions, she even smelled like Feng Tianlan. All these things should be enough to fool him.

“Don’t think you can fool me just by making yourself look like Lan’er.” Si Mobai’s eyes were cold. He raised his hands and directed his ultimate move at her.
