Tu Xiuyu felt something hit her head and fall to the ground. She picked it up and was about to throw it away when she realized that it was a crumpled ball of paper. Out of curiosity, she smoothed it out and read the words with her red, swollen eyes.

Tu Xiuyu reread the words. She sat up and looked up at the few people walking by, but nobody was looking at her. She wiped away her tears and asked, “Who is it?”

After several moments, nobody responded to her. She was even more confused. Who was helping her?

Zhang Tiancheng hid in a dark corner and watched Tu Xiuyu walk into Feng Manor, her face crestfallen. He used a hand to rub his nose. “Don’t be so stupid. I hope you know what to do next.”

Tu Xiuyu walked back into the courtyard and saw Si Rong laughing and smiling with Tu Xiupei. Her eyes were immediately red with hatred, and she clenched her teeth. “You sl*t!”

“Yu’er.” Tu Xiupei looked pitifully at her.
